It did not disappoint, the last time the wings were extremely small but they have gotten bigger. (Still not the same as when they first came to Arizona) We ordered both lemon pepper and original but from prior experience I have yet to wrong with any of their flavors. Had ATL Wings delivered recently, so can only comment on the food--my partner and I ordered three flavors of bone-in wings (honey habanero bbq, lucky sweet red, the duke) and fries. The fries were extremely soggy (soggier than most take-out) - to the point that the paper bag that they were in had disintegrated. However, nothing a little air fryer action can't fix! The wings themselves were awesome. Well-sauced (but not oversauced), juicy, meaty, and with good flavor. We both agreed that the honey habanero was best, though I wish it was a little spicier based on the name. The lucky sweet red was a close second - just an elevated buffalo sauce (though I also wish it was slightly hotter). The duke was firmly in 3rd place, without any noticeable buffalo flavor. This was my first time trying ATL wings and I was definitely UNDERwhelmed. The systems in place at this restaurant need overhauling. I would recommend more training of the employees, including the manager, and more attention to details. I arrived 15 mins before closing and made a large order. I understood I would probably have to wait. We ordered 2 dozen wings, spicy chicken sandwich, lg fry, med cajun fry, and 5 deep fried biscuits. After 20 mins we were told they ran out of chicken and the employee gave me a bag with a large cold fries and 3 deep fried buscuits that had no powdered sugar, honey, etc. They told me that is all they had. I was very confused. I promptly asked for a refund and they said that they could not give me one even though I paid by a credit card. They said the manager would call me tomorrow. I left my number. I returned the next day about 2 o'clock and had not received a call and asked for a refund. The manager had trouble finding my order and could not refund my card. He said they would have to process it through corporate and it would take some time. I assume this location is a franchise and I didn't want the owner to lose money, but I was a little frustrated with not being able to get a refund and I didn't want to lose money. So I had them make my order. The manager said oh we will take care of you and he gave me two free drinks. I thought they would give me at least another half dozen wings since the special for that day was by a dozen wings get half free when the Cardinals or ASU plays at home. Nope. My food was made and it smelled good however, after checking the contents, I had to return again because the biscuit order was wrong. Nothing else was added or given to me as a token of good customer service. Not even a coupon to return. This was my first time at this location, and I am an advocate for supporting small business. However, I think there is a lack of training for the employees and for management at this location. The wings were good, but not superb. The deep-fried biscuit dough balls were delicious. The fries were soggy. I would not go here simply for the fact that if something were to go wrong again, I would not be assured that I can get an immediate refund. I have never been to a business that operates in that manner. I attempted to contact the corporate office through the apps messaging and never received a reply . I explained what occurred and do not blame the local manager, but view this as a corporate decision to inadequately, train their franchisee owners. However, replacement of an order is not the same as good customer service. When the burden is upon a customer to have to proactively ensure they receive the agreed upon product and they cannot get their money back, It becomes an issue of buyer beware. read more

What happened here? Have not been in years. Walked in and there were 4 to 5 people waiting for food. The place was in need of a deep cleaning from a customer perspective. When I see that in front of the house, I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. Likely more disgusting than the customer area. I waited for 5 minutes, never was acknowledged despite the workers that saw me standing there. After someone that already ordered asked why their food was taking so long, I left. I love ATL wings and have been going for years to all different locations. My visit today was extremely disappointing. I said my order twice and they still go it wrong. 10, all flats, extra crispy with 1/1 ATL the other 1/2 spice ATL. My wings where not extra crispy, I got 1/2 ATL and the other 1/2 I think is garlic Parmesan flavor. Maybe I'm not sure because I didn't order it. Maybe if they turn down the music so they can hear their customer and when they tell their customer that they're ready to take their order that they're actually ready to listen and take the order. The other part that was very disappointing is it looks like they have not a cleaned floors in about a month they need to clean up the place I went at 12:30 in the afternoon. Beware of service! I placed an order at 5:20pm and it said it would be ready by 5:50pm. We have already had issues with orders taking longer after placed so we showed up at 6:15pm. They said my order would be ready shortly. I waited inside the store for an hour with many others. The chef came out and said that they wouldn't take any more orders and that you can either wait for your food or leave at 6:30. At 6:55pm he said my order was up next (over an hour after it was supposed to be ready). And within the next 5 minutes the woman at the register said they ran out of chicken and would have to process a refund. We even left a tip on the online order and that isn't part of the refund. I find it strange that at 7pm (closing) they somehow immediately run out of chicken. The woman at the register did not provide us any contact information and said the refund would be processed in 5-6 business days. I can afford to wait but I find it absurd for the people who don't have that luxury (not to mention tipping them for literally wasting my time!). Wasted over 2 hours of my day off waiting for nothing. Businesses should not be run this way. Staff told me 15 minutes after I ordered the food was unavailable and promised a refund, would be issued back to me. ATL has always been one of my favorite wing spots since I was a kid however, my most recent experience was horrific. I placed an online order and at 5:37 PM. I was text that my order was ready when I arrived at the store no one could find my order. Instead of making it a priority, the cashier continue to take more orders until about 15 minutes later when she finally put mine in the system and told the kitchen to rush it. Mind you as I was sitting there waiting for my food about three other customers in the store had an issue with their order. I did not end up leaving the store with my food until about 6:15 PM. The apology I got was an annoyed one when I was handed my food. When I got home to eat, I noticed my fries were not cooked all the way, and my dressing had mold in it. They weren't actually wings, but chuncks of breaded chicken breast! I love sucking the bones on my wings and was very disappointed. I called and told them and they said they would give a credit.
