Lake shore drive

Went in for a late lunch on 8/27 and we were able to seat ourselves. The place was pretty empty when we arrived but eventually filled up quickly! Our server was friendly and FAST! She immediately checked on us and got our drinks. Super nice gal. I ordered a beer, my husband got a soda, we got the onion rings and their 14 inch lakeshore drive butter crust pizza. The inside is small, no decor stood out in particular, but we weren't here for the art in the walls. It was clean, the air was cool and the bathrooms were clean. The onions were crunchy and perfect. Honestly top tier onion rings at this location. The pizza? A hit, so much flavor, so cheesy, the sauce was delicious. 10/10 cheese pull as well. Overall such a delicious meal. We ordered with our stomachs and had half of a pizza left over so we got to enjoy it over the next two days. Reheated it's just as delicious. We actually stopped in for my birthday(didn't mention it to the server) but the meal was so great. We will definitely be back!

The last time I was here I tried the thin crust pizza and it was very good. This time I decided to try the deep dish and I'm glad I did. (I'm from the Chicago area, so I consider myself a pizza snob/expert!) Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised! The flavor was very good and the all-important crust was good as well. However, I prefer to have a slap of Italian sausage on the pizza rather than sausage crumbles. When it's made with a slab of sausage that covers the entire pizza you get a bit of sausage with every bite! Most of the traditional pizzerias in Chicago make deep dish pizza this way. I guess I'll order double sausage next time. Nonetheless, I did enjoy it and would order it again! Oh yeah, the service is outstanding! I sat at the bar and watched the Thursday night football game. They take really good care of you at the bar.

August 2025 Happy Hour Menu M-F 2-6p all Sunday

Boom! Rare 5 star for a chain! Great little restaurant I found on my way to Oasis Veterans Park in parking lot of a small strip mall. In town for a conference, and got to try out the Happy Hour M-F 2-6p and all day Sunday. Great variety of drink specials, wine, well, margaritas, cocktails and beer. Also lots of food options, including specials every M-Th. Lots of TVs, booths, high tables and outdoor seating. Good music for background. Got a wonderful Small Vero Salad with a variety of fixings and was excellent with house Vero Salad. Moved to bone in wings which were decent size and was able to mix sauces, Vero and Garlic Parm. Tried the Vero light beer which was a decent lager. The house margarita was a little to sour for me but you can get rimmed with salt, sugar or tajin. Finished with a craft beer on their rotating tap. What pushed this over the top, because I don't do 5* for chain, even local chains, was service! The staff all were friendly and interacted with all customers the same friendly manner. Very clean and well furnished for a small location. Only improvement suggestion, give a shout before happy hour ends to get some last calls and extra business. Best Happy Hour Experience. But shout out for Savanna, and rest of staff today.

My attempted feedback submission showing invalid characters (it did not specify which characters or a limit)

I cannot attest to the food yet as I haven't received my order yet, the process however just for placing an order was enough to make me leave a review. It showed me my correctly selected items while displaying a total that I later learned accounted for an item not listed. As I went to pay, the error message was popping up and I could find nothing wrong. The website then closed itself completely, I opened it back up and it showed 3 items in my cart (I only requested 2) and when I deleted the unwanted extra item, a new cheaper total was there that didn't exist before. Now I was using an online deal to order a landmark pizza with a free appetizer however it does not explain the changing appetizer quantities and differing totals. I tried to submit feedback to Vero to alert them and their feedback button itself claims invalid characters added. I even tried going through and deleting all grammar related commas, etc and nothing. Overall, very frustrating first time experience just trying to place an order and I'm unable to submit feedback directly to the restaurant because of further issues with their website.

Summer deals all week long & Cali Squeeze blood orange beer

I don't know a doggone thing about Chicago style pizza and have had it maybe a handful of times all my life and this is someone who grew up on the East Coast. I know my NYC pizzas, so don't mess with me there haha. I've been feeling like pizza for a couple of days now so finally pulled the trigger tonight to get some deep dish Chicago style pizza. I know this is a chain and I don't normally really like chains but what got me in tonight was their summer deals and $10 for a 10" deep dish with one topping happens on Wednesdays. You just can't beat that honestly. I don't care if you judge me and think I am cheap. I grew up in an Asian home and if you have ever seen the comedian Jimmy Oyang talk about how different people talk about products and how much they paid for it, you will understand why I am so thrifty. Asians save money like it's a competitive sport haha. I then dump all my money into top quality outdoor gear lol. Ok, I digress, back to pizza. The pizza was good here, I waited about 25 minutes but it was well worth it. And lots leftover for lunch tomorrow. I sat at the bar and had a Cali Squeeze Blood Orange beer and that was good, but it was $8, almost the price of my pizza lol! My server was great and all the ladies working here were very helpful and efficient. There were plenty of tables dining in. Overall, I had a lovely experience here tonight and will likely come back again as the summer deals really enticed me to come back, now that I know the pizza is pretty solid here. My only gripe is that the air con was way too cold and would have preferred to sit outside. I do hope they can have some outdoor seating here in the future. Give them a try, you might like it too!

Located in the cut, Vero's Chicago Pizza is not to be missed. This new location is so convenient to get to right off the 101 and Ray Rd. It's my go to on Sunday's when I'm hungry for excellent pizza or beef sandwich. I ordered pizza from here when my parents came to visit from my home away from home Chicago. My dad said he wanted pizza so this was my first pick because I knew I couldn't go wrong with the Chicago style pizza he wanted. I ordered a carry-out large sausage and cheese and a large half sausage, half pepperoni. My parents loved it. The flavors, cheese, and quality hit home for them. On my recent visit with my sister we ordered the Italian beef sandwich. I LOVE their beef sandwiches. They know how to 'dip' it just right. The evidence of the dip is not only the wet bread but the herbs and seasonings that stick to it afterwards. It's such a beautiful sight. Not only does the sandwich presentation look appealing, it taste so darn good. Every bite makes me roll my eyes toward the back of my head. So good, filling, and memorable. Dining room offers booth, high top, or bar seating. The patio looks inviting so I I will have to dine out there next time. Service is great with their friendly staff.

We ordered catering here for our engagement party. Sam took my order and was so nice! He's a great guy. I forgot to take a picture of the wings, but the wings are our favorite! The pizza is excellent as well! We picked our food up from the restaurant and the restaurant was clean and orderly. The parking was easy. Friendly staff, excellent food. Best wings in the city. Will continue to order from here.

Millennium Park Thin Crust

Visited with 2 co-workers on a Friday afternoon, around 1:45p. Service was quick as there were only a few other patrons in the establishment. The place was clean, background music was good and they had a few sports games on the various tvs We ordered two pizzas, one deep dish, one thin crust. That was more than enough for 3 men, with some left over for each of us to take home. Both pizzas were delicious. I've had Lou Malnati's pizza and this pizza was a bit better. The sauce was fresh, the toppings were fresh and the cheese was melted to perfection Because there weren't many patrons we got our pizzas quickly and they were piping hot, just like I like it. I'd go back.

Italian Beef with fries
Elaine R.

I recently visited Vero's Pizza in Chandler and was delighted by the experience. While I consider Vero's an infamous Pizza spot with such delicious pizza, opted for the Italian Beef sandwich with fries--and it was absolutely fantastic! As a Chicagoan, I like to get my beef sandwiches dipped - almost soaked. This beef sandwich was great! The beef was perfectly seasoned and tender, with just the right balance of flavors. The sandwich was generously portioned and paired beautifully with the crispy, golden fries that were seasoned to perfection. I went at a time when the restaurant was not that busy, but still has a welcoming vibe. Service was good as well. Whether you're craving a hearty sandwich like the Italian Beef, or exploring their famed pizza selection, Vero's Pizza seems to offer a little something for everyone. I can't wait to go back and get another pizza on my next visit!

Peach Ring--yummmmmmmmy peach vodka cocktail
Denise M.

At the risk of sounding my age, I have to say that Vero Chicago Pizza is the bomb! There are so many things to love about Vero. This laid-back place has a great, comfy feel with its exposed brick and well-stocked bar. There's a mix of booths and high top tables, and there's patio seating, too. Also very cool is the jukebox (do we still call them that?) hanging near the bar. Everyone who works here is super friendly and extremely helpful. You can tell that they love this place and they love the food it serves. Our server was able to describe all the different things on the menu and make helpful suggestions. It definitely gave me a "Cheers" vibe, the kind of place where everybody knows your name. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars and repeat customers in there - - that says a lot about the place. Of course they were also very welcoming the first timers. Hubby was only drinking water, but that didn't stop me from ordering a Peach Ring--a delicious tajin-rimmed peach vodka cocktail. Omg . . . I would go there just to get this drink! They do have a cocktail of the month, but as a lover of everything peach I could not pass up the Peach Ring. We tried three starters and a pizza. I can't make up my mind which one was best because they were all so good. We had: *Pizza Fritta, little pieces of pizza dough fried and seasoned like mini garlic knots and served with marinara. FYI, it's complimentary on your first visit! *Cheese Curds served with marinara. I'm not sure if Wisconsin cheese is the actual type of cheese or just where the cheese comes from, but it is delish! *Gravy Bread--bread covered in cheese served with an au jus kind of gravy for dipping. SOOOO good! It was so cheesy that it took two hands to pull it apart and the cheese was still stretching! *Lakeshore Drive (sausage, pepperoni, meatball, and bacon) pizza on pan butter crust. It's like deep dish pizza, without the chunky pizza sauce. For me, it's the best of both worlds. FYI, they do have thin crust and regular deep dish crust, too. This pizza has so many toppings and so much cheese that it was extremely filling. It was amazing, the kind of deliciousness that makes you keep eating long after you should stop because it's so good. I seriously could not stop eating it If you like Chicago-style pizza, you really have to go to Vero Chicago Pizza. Between the friendly and helpful staff and absolutely delicious food, you can't go wrong. P.S. They make their own sausage and it's fantastic!

We enjoy our visits to Vero's pizza locations around the valley, where we always experience excellent customer service in a fast casual environment. We enjoy the pizza fritta bites and meatball appetizers are a must, we decided to check out the Italian beef this time. I love that they offer different crust options. We have butter crust for sure There's so much to choose from you really can't go wrong. It gives us a reason to come back and explore more menu items. Check out their signature cocktail contest each month. If you purchase their featured drink of the month you can enter to win a 250$ pizza party

Vero House salad - the best part was the garlic bread because the salty peperoncini ruined the salad
Ashley L.

I noticed this place in the Whole Foods shopping center. We came on a Saturday night and got the last table (a booth!) except the one right by the door (which probably would have been chilly as customers entered and exited). It's not a very big place. We started with a large Vero House salad which was a nice size for 3 of us to share. Next time though, I would order the simpler garden salad because the peperoncinis in this salad were overwhelmingly salty and ruined it for me. For the pizza, we had a large thin crust Mag Mile but removed the sausage on one half (making that half veggie). My initial visual impression was that it was a bit greasy and heavy on the cheese. I lightly blotted off the excess grease. As far as the cheese, I reached my quota after 2 squares. It was very filling, even with thin crust. Because of this, our large was way too much for the 3 of us. We had several pieces to take home. The other components and toppings were fine with me, thought they were good. The other thing that won them points is the pizza was served piping hot. Overall pizza score I'd say 3.5 - with the grease and cheese, I can't justify a 4. That said, putting my personal preferences aside and as a former Chicagoan, I could see this being a popular neighborhood pizza joint if it was in the Windy City. The service was pretty nice and we hugely appreciated the perfect music volume. You could hear it, but it was not so loud that you couldn't hear your conversation/had to shout. This seems to be so rare these days, I'd definitely consider going back here even though it wasn't my absolute favorite pizza.

Kaelyn G.

Great neighborhood pizza spot. Pizza was fresh and delicious. Salad was also tasty and came with garlic bread. They have good weekday deals. Service was very friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a solid quality pizza joint, this is the place!

The day we had gone in, they had a few sandwich and pasta options available to choose from. My husband got the spicy Italian sausage ziti pasta dish and I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich came out first; I really liked the marinara sauce on it. It was a bit difficult to eat but exactly what I was expecting and wanting. The pasta took some time to come out, but that was fine. The sauce was like a pesto vodka sauce, very rich & filling, and also tasty. We were both only able to eat half of each dish since they were both large dishes. I believe they only serve pasta dishes on certain days, so if they have them on the menu, definitely consider ordering one of those. They seem to have sandwiches everyday. It's a pretty small place with a few tables & some bar type seating. It gets pretty busy around lunch time, so plan accordingly. We'll be back again to try other items!

I always skip the pepperoncini peppers and get extra salami and cheese. I've tried their chicken Parmesan, spaghetti in meat sauce, chicken cutlet piccata with fettuccine alfredo and lasagna. I wasn't wowed by any of the entrees and the marinara sauce is a bit too sweet for my liking. The unlimited salad and bread is always the highlight of my meal and a treat especially as I don't eat bread at home. For $11.50, it's an excellent value. All the staff members are also incredibly nice and accommodating. It's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular and always busy.

Came for dinner on Saturday at 6pm. We called the restaurant a few days ahead to make a reservation…read moreas they do not have an online reservation option. Showed up and the restaurant was relatively busy with only a few open tables inside. The restaurant has a fish tank with some large fish which was cool. We were immediately greeted to get drink orders. We ended up ordering the 10 inch Tuscan pizza (it came cut into 6 slices). We also ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca. After about 15-20 minutes both dishes arrived. The Chicken Saltimbocca was outstanding. The flavor was delicious. Would highly recommend. The Tuscan pizza was also great. We were worried it might be dry but did not have a problem. Overall, the meal was wonderful and we will definitely come back to try more. Our server was kind and efficient and overall it was an awesome meal.

I have to commend the operators and the staff at Pestos for a great experience this past Saturday…read more We arrived for our 6:30 reservation to find that the whole area was without power. We thought we would have to go somewhere else. Instead we were treated to a very nice "candlelit" experience that was still up to the very high standard that we had come to expect from Pestos. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. We all had a great time. Bravo to you and your staff for overcoming a difficult situation and making it great.
