Dining room of pizza place, but we sat in the Bread and Honey House.
    Denise M.

This new pizza place is connected to the Mesa location of the Bread and Honey Bouse. In fact, you must go through the Bread and Honey House to get to the pizza place. They told us they would prefer that we actually sit in the Bread and Honey House dining room. The actual pizza dining room looks pretty basic but cute. Tables and wooden chairs and a counter that looks like it might have some alcohol for cocktails. There's a large tiled oven with a fire - - I would presume it's a wood fire but it could be a coal fire. When we walked into the pizza dining room we were told to go back out and order at the counter in the Bread and Honey House. They have several different pizzas and a few salads, as well as wings. I ordered a cheese pizza and my friend ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni on my friends pizza were big and looked good but I only tried my own cheese pizza. My pizza was okay, but a bit doughy. I wanted to totally love this pizza, but, to be honest, with Goat & Ram and Myke's pizza just down the road, I don't see myself returning you Cirinos, although I will definitely be back to the Bread and Honey House.

We ordered the Caesar salad, 6pc buffalo wings, Ohana pizza and the hunny bee pizza. Everything was good. Our favorites were the Caesar salad and the hunny bee pizza. If we were to go back we would probably order those again, the other items probably not. Place is very spacious with plenty of seating inside. There were only 2 other people when we arrived and even though place was pretty empty. We ran out of water 1/2 way through our meal and never saw our server. She came only to leave the items we ordered on our table. Server was very friendly though. Seemed a little pricey but what place isn't now.

This little mom-and-pop joint is the real deal. Tons of space inside--No squeezing in here. Pizza's straight fire. Blistered crust, fresh toppings, smoky goodness. Everything's awesome, but the Honeybee is my jam: pepperoni, peppers, and that honey drizzle? Sweet-spicy heaven. Can't stop ordering it. Go. Eat. Thank me later.

Mixed feelings. We grabbed a couple of pizzas for the office yesterday. One had no issues. The other was somehow both burnt and still raw dough. So all we ate was the cheese and toppings.

Honey Bee but got Serranos on the side!

Very clean, welcoming, and fast service... but we were the only ones wood fire oven pizza is amazing. Ordered Honey Bee, Pesto, Caesar salad, buffalo and bbq wings. Great salad not swimming in dressing but just enough. Pesto pizza with corn and carmelized onions was good but feel like it was missing something. The Honey Bee was a favorite by the man/boys. Wings are baked so hubby wasn't impressed and buffalo wasn't spicy enough but they were still a decent taste..... Over all I'd come back for pizza!

As another reviewer said, this is actually part of Bread and Honey House. You order at the counter and then you sit in that restaurant but they make the pizza next door. There was a line on Sunday at 11:20 AM. Makes sense since Bread and Honey is mostly a brunch spot. The pizza was great. I got the Honey bee and it was just right. The jalapeño gives it a nice kick. No red pepper flakes needed. I also got the ceasar salad which was good but not great. The croutons were excellent though. I will definitely return. It was good that I stuck my head in the pizza side to confirm that I had to order from Bread and Honey House because one of the staff popped out a couple minutes later and asked what I was getting so that they could start it! Then it was like they read my mind and packaged it to go because I planned to eat 1/2 here and take the rest home. It's a small place and every table was taken when I left at noon

Came in on a Saturday night around 6pm and the place was pretty empty. We ordered the Margarita Pizza ($17) and a Cesar salad ($15). The salad was really good (could have used some salad plates or separate bowls), the pizza was just okay, it was too doughy for my liking. We also ordered a side of ranch, to which the staff made some snarky comments about us in Spanish. They also did not check in with us during the meal. This place is new so I still think they have a lot to figure out but this was our experience.

The sausage was sliced instead of a free form piece of sausage, but it was still amazing. You could see a piece of fennel seed in the slice which gave it so much flavor along with the pepperoni. The crust was thin at center and then built up to a puff on the rim that was so flaky like a croissant. The crust just kept building to the flavor profile. When we placed our order, I asked the employee to explain their sauces. She described them all and then said the cherry hot pepper sauce was her favorite. The sauce put the pizza to the next level. If you like crushed pepper seeds on your pizza, this sauce is a must and so much better with fresh peppers. The employees were super friendly and explained everything and answered all our questions as first time visitors. They all worked together and impressed on us that they enjoyed working there. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The sunshades could be bigger to put out more shade, but that was all forgotten with the first bite of pizza. I will definitely return. I will be attempting to copy the cherry hot pepper jam, so yummy.

Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

We made reservations at Pizzicata in anticipation of both Valentine's Day and the need to re-carb after the event. We arrived at the host stand a few minutes before our reservation, but were told that there were no indoor tables available. If we wanted to be seated immediately, we'd have to accept an outdoor table, even though we had a reservation for indoor seating. We opted to wait because the weather was chilly by Arizona standards, and we were still recovering from the race. A couple of minutes later, another hostess approached us and asked whether we had reservations and were waiting. When we confirmed, she immediately left to find us a table, and we were seated very shortly afterwards. I thought very little of this until the owner came to our table and apologized for the issue. He was kind and sincere in his regret for the situation and was excited to tell us about the staff and the food. We were wildly appreciative of this attention to detail and service! We shared the potato croquettes, and they were everything I was hoping they'd be and more. (Light lore: I chose Pizzicata because I saw a picture of these croquettes on their online menu.) For dinner, my husband had the Travolta pizza, and I had the gnocchi gorgonzola. We both did that thing where we sat back in our chairs, breathed deeply, and declared, "oh dang, that's goooood." We were both so happy with our choices - I can't speak to the pizza, but that was some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy soft in this perfectly nutty, cheesy, creamy sauce. *chef's kiss* For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which was perfect in every way. If we weren't already walking funny because of the race, we'd have still waddled out of Pizzicata from happy fullness. The service, the food, the vibe - we're here for it and we'll be back the next time we're in Mesa.

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

The day we had gone in, they had a few sandwich and pasta options available to choose from. My husband got the spicy Italian sausage ziti pasta dish and I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich came out first; I really liked the marinara sauce on it. It was a bit difficult to eat but exactly what I was expecting and wanting. The pasta took some time to come out, but that was fine. The sauce was like a pesto vodka sauce, very rich & filling, and also tasty. We were both only able to eat half of each dish since they were both large dishes. I believe they only serve pasta dishes on certain days, so if they have them on the menu, definitely consider ordering one of those. They seem to have sandwiches everyday. It's a pretty small place with a few tables & some bar type seating. It gets pretty busy around lunch time, so plan accordingly. We'll be back again to try other items!

I always add artichokes and capers and have it served over spinach, and it's phenomenal every single time. It's one of those dishes you just don't mess with. We started the table with calamari, garlic knots, and arancini--everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from classic Italian starters. My son ordered the antipasto salad with added chicken, which was a great portion (especially for an active teen) and full of fresh ingredients.
