This place has unique pizza combinations all the time and they don't repeat the flavors. The pizza is absolutely incredible and so full of flavor. We have been there and handful of times and have never been disappointed. The location is perfect in downtown Mesa. This is a must try.

    Freak of the week

Pizza shop inside a brewery. Open seating with a bar to order drinks and a walk up counter to order pizza. Options are limited but the options were pretty unique. We tried the freak of the week (without jalapeño) and I really enjoyed it. It's definitely a hearty stick to your ribs kind of pizza that goes great with a beer. It was a busy Friday night, but the wait wasn't unreasonable. The service was very good and everyone was very nice. Overall a cool place to hang out and we would go back.

Absolutely amazing! Some of the best pizza I've ever had. The carnitas pizza is life changing and the crust, even though it's thicker is so light and airy! 10/10 definitely recommend!

I honestly thought the pizza was super greasy, but the dessert was amazing! I didn't love having to order beer and food separately, but I understand it's two different businesses. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved the beer selection though and everyone was friendly!

If you're in downtown Mesa and you're looking to grab a bite to eat and maybe have a drink or two, you should consider swinging by Goat and Ram [[HIGHLIGHT]]This spot has all the small batch brewery vibes, but is also a very popular pizza parlor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

Wow. This place has amazing pizza! Came here with my family and we all agreed it's some of the best pizza we've had in a long time, from the dough to the perfectly cooked crust. We tried the pepperoni & sausage and the white P&S pizza, and both were insanely delicious. The pizza was both thick and light at the same time. We also ordered the house salad and... bomb is the only word. That spicy Italian dressing was straight fire! So good that we tried to get the recipe, but they keep it under lock and key. Can't blame them. BUT, they might package and sell it sometime in the near future. Highly recommend checking this spot out. It's located in downtown Mesa, so there's no parking right out front, but plenty nearby with a short walk. You order at the bar/front (no table service), but everything comes out fresh and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean space, good vibes, and food that absolutely delivers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Green + White
    Nicki M.

Pretty good little spot for pizza in DT Mesa. I met a group of friends to catch up. Good amount of seating and lots of drink options, if that's what you go for. I ordered the green + white which was a pesto pizza woth garlic and mozz. To my surprise, the garlic was raw. To be honest, I can't remember if this was specified on the menu or not but maybe a quick roast wouldn't hurt because raw garlic just steals the flavor show. I kept leftovers and reheated this the next day which made the cheese meltier and garlic more bearable. My friends got a pizza with maybe a shredded pork and chipotle raspberry sauce, plus pickled jalapenos. That was a flavor explosion and a really good balance of sweet and spicy. Overall pizzas were good and I would come back to check out new flavors.

    Hummus - wildly good!

SO GOOD - just come here and order everything. I was here recently to meet a friend for dinner, and walking, it was definitely busy! They are sharing space with a brewery so when you order it will be right at the entrance on your right! We decided to share a pizza and got it half Pepperoni/Sausage and Bulgogi/Mushroom. We also shared the hummus appetizer! We were talking hot gossip and updating each other on the drama of our lives but it was really hard with HOW GOOD EVERYTHING IS. We literally had to take a break from talking to just enjoy the food. The hummus was actually really good, the pita was flaky, and vegetables were crisp! Pizza: OMG - I was a little upset we decided to split a pie because I would have gladly been greedy lol

Can pizza be a spiritual experience? I say yes lol. We aren't drinkers, but Goat and Ram is in the same space as a brewery. The space was large and had a very cool vibe. You had me at 2000s indie. I haven't had pizza in MONTHS. It's started making me not feel well. Unfortunately, it's one of my partners favorite foods. Before our vacation ended I wanted to find a pizza spot for us to have lunch. It's like I was touched by an Angel girl. Immediately upon walking in, we were greeted by the owner, who asked if we had ever been in. They gave us the rundown of their smaller menu and how everything is made by them (crust, the croutons on their salad is made from bread they made). I'm such a believer in doing a few things really well, and this place knocked my socks off. Not only fantastic, but also the first time pizza has not made me ill in months and months. The care they take for the ingredients and prep really shows. We shared the pepperoni and sausage and added the caramelized onions from another menu item. SO. GOOD. Just the right amount of everything. The cheese, the sauce, the meat, THE CRUST. Omg. Don't skip the cherry pepper jam. If they bottled and sold it I would put that shh on everything. 1000/10 thank you so much!

Yummy drinks. "Better than you ex" on the left and a hazy beer on the right.

I have been hearing great things about this bar for over a year. We finally tried it and we were not disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar has a fun atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender treated my husband to a free birthday beer. The pizza and drinks were great. Another great addition to downtown Mesa!

I'll keep it short and sweet-- this pizza is incredibly good. Goat & Ram used to be a food truck. I would usually see them in front of Chupacabra. Now they are a permanent part of Phantom Fox. I enjoy the rotating pizza flavors and have enjoyed it every single time. I really like their cheesy bread and hummus also. So good.

This visit was even better than the last. The cheese blend with the dollops of ricotta were so good. The dough is really what sets this pizza apart. It's so light and airy. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The best of everything in my opinion. Ordered online and walked down the street to pick it up. It was ready the minute I walked in. It's always a struggle not to eat the whole pizza in one sitting. I lost the battle this time lol.

    Krystal H.

The crust on the pizza is delicious and their house salad was great with garbonzo beans added to it. I felt like the sausage could have used more flavor but aside from that it was a good pizza

Ultimately I chose the Mesa store because it was the original and I wanted to see Mesa. We started with a basic garlic cheese bread appetizer and it was great. The calamari was tempting but we'll save that for next time. Wife ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and I ordered the usual Chicken Parmesan which came with a side of pasta. It was actually a harder choice than usual because I walked thru the restaurant before I ordered and so many dishes looked good, as did the pizza. But I went with the usual. Let's start with the wife, which truly speaks to the five stars because she frankly doesn't love Italian food. She eats it when I beg. And she loved it. She actually proactively mentioned she wanted to go back. That's like 7 stars right there it's so abnormal. I agree with her. The chicken parm was fantastic. Amazing. To top it off, our server was great and when I mentioned we were new to the area and it was our first trip she was so nice telling us the history of the original and the other stores, and the manager later stopped by to continue that conversation as the server told her we were new. I mentioned that I live closer to the Scottsdale store, and she said it's the same food and I'll like it just as much. I'll have a hard time deciding which shop to return to - it might be worth the drive to the original just for the ambiance, but I'll give the other a try soon because it was just that good! 5 stars. Or 7 if you ask my wife.

I ended up swapping the…read morebreaded chicken that normally comes with the meal for grilled chicken to avoid the oils from frying. I also subbed the sunrise sauce in and it was so delicious. My only complaint was the portion size for the price. Normally I would get to chicken pieces and have leftover chicken. I remember normally going in and being able to split this dish with my husband, but this time it came with one piece of chicken. This was a little disappointed for the price point and hoping to get more protein. The other really annoying part when dining at Vito's is parking. I circled around twice including the parking lot by the car wash and State Farm and called Vito's asking for advice where to park and was told Walgreens across the street due to a big party they were having in the basement. Lastly, Vito's has a happy hour menu, the discount used to be better in the past so lately I haven't ordered from it. However, the frustrating part is in the summer the only way to benefit from them is to sit outside on the patio. I wish they allowed for seating for happy hour specials during hot summer months to be inside as well.

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.
