Ice cream

I love pizza mart and I always have been coming since a kid. I always get pizza ice cream and a soda but they have super good deals on wings meals and alcohol too!

We love this place! Kinda makes you feel like a kids again! Pizza wings and video games! Best ice cream and cheap!! We love coming here for fun and food!

Great food, classic games. Was very clean and staff was super friendly. Was well worth the price!

Wasn't bad. Would come again. Salad bar was expensive for what was offered. The food and atmosphere were good.

Good food and good prices (minus salad bar offering ) offer menus to look at and a server to come around to buss and offer more rounds of things ....

I wish I knew about this place before my only friend with a kid moved away... It's a nostalgic pizza shop with pizza that tastes like pizza from the 90s. It's dough has a yeasty flavor and a crunch bottom while still being chewy, the pizza sauce is tomato paste heavy, and the cheese is light. I didn't know I wanted this, it's not normally how I would describe a fantastic pizza, but man it was a ratatouille moment when I had that pizza.

I noticed I wrote a review 10 years ago and wanted to update my review, because after all these years this place still hits! 7.95 for a large pepperoni pizza. We love this place and now that we live closer, we usually take out at least 4-5 times a month. My daughter loves to have this for dinner and take it in her lunch the next day. The ranch always hits too. This place might not look like much, but try it and you'll be pleasantly surprised! It's a Mesa Landmark at this point and we need to support these treasures!

Large pepperoni pizza and medium hot wings

Driving down Main Street looking at all the modern buildings popping up and lo and behold....husband sees a nice A Frame building marked PIZZA MART. In we went! We got a large pepperoni pizza for about $6 that turned out to be the very type of pizza we had been craving. The entire crust was perfectly baked, the mozzarella cheese was gooey, and sauce was well proportioned with the other components. Also ordered medium wings (10piece) which were very tasty and well made. You can order sodas and drinks by the pitcher which is handy for bigger families. There is also a salad bar for $5. Wanted to try their ice cream but was down for the evening....will have to get it next time! Inside are booths fitting 4 and huge tables for larger parties. In the back there is a row of arcade games. Which really brings in the nostalgia. Overall, the place itself and pizza is a blast from the past in the best way possible. **side note** sign on the register stated it closed at 8pm on Sundays.

Air vent

So I am an Arizona native and Pizza Mart's used to be all over the place, was pleasantly surprised to know there was still one in Mesa. Anytime we're out in the East Valley we always stop in and enjoy the food immensely. We always sit in the front area and don't sit back by where the games are but we did today and was totally grossed out. The ac vents and the filters were beyond filthy and don't look like they have been cleaned in years. It makes you question if that is in plain view what are the conditions not in plain view look like? What does the inside of the refrigerator look like? Is food left out on non cleaned surfaces? Are the dishes being sanitized properly? I can honestly say I don't know if we'll be back :(

Lunch for two!

This place is still so fun coming back here. I used to come here when I was a kid a lot. Food was good, atmosphere was fun and nostalgic and my wife and I had lunch for under $20. Service was decent as well. Worth a try!

Pizza Mart- Mesa, AZ My Mesa peeps already know, this place is dripping with nostalgia and like walking into a time warp! Excellent bang for your buck pizza. Perfect "Last Supper" as I made my return to the classroom yesterday with my heart full and my pockets empty! #RedforEd Cheers and let this be a friendly reminder to be nice to your kids teachers and buy them pizza every once in a while!

The sausage was sliced instead of a free form piece of sausage, but it was still amazing. You could see a piece of fennel seed in the slice which gave it so much flavor along with the pepperoni. The crust was thin at center and then built up to a puff on the rim that was so flaky like a croissant. The crust just kept building to the flavor profile. When we placed our order, I asked the employee to explain their sauces. She described them all and then said the cherry hot pepper sauce was her favorite. The sauce put the pizza to the next level. If you like crushed pepper seeds on your pizza, this sauce is a must and so much better with fresh peppers. The employees were super friendly and explained everything and answered all our questions as first time visitors. They all worked together and impressed on us that they enjoyed working there. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The sunshades could be bigger to put out more shade, but that was all forgotten with the first bite of pizza. I will definitely return. I will be attempting to copy the cherry hot pepper jam, so yummy.

If you're in downtown Mesa and you're looking to grab a bite to eat and maybe have a drink or two,…read moreyou should consider swinging by Goat and Ram This spot has all the small batch brewery vibes, but is also a very popular pizza parlor. Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

The pancakes with bacon cooked right into them were such a fun twist and tasted amazing. The green chili bowl had great flavor with a nice kick, but it wasn't overly spicy. We made reservations at Pizzicata in anticipation of both Valentine's Day and the need to re-carb after the event. We arrived at the host stand a few minutes before our reservation, but were told that there were no indoor tables available. If we wanted to be seated immediately, we'd have to accept an outdoor table, even though we had a reservation for indoor seating. We opted to wait because the weather was chilly by Arizona standards, and we were still recovering from the race. A couple of minutes later, another hostess approached us and asked whether we had reservations and were waiting. When we confirmed, she immediately left to find us a table, and we were seated very shortly afterwards. I thought very little of this until the owner came to our table and apologized for the issue. He was kind and sincere in his regret for the situation and was excited to tell us about the staff and the food. We were wildly appreciative of this attention to detail and service! We shared the potato croquettes, and they were everything I was hoping they'd be and more. (Light lore: I chose Pizzicata because I saw a picture of these croquettes on their online menu.) For dinner, my husband had the Travolta pizza, and I had the gnocchi gorgonzola. We both did that thing where we sat back in our chairs, breathed deeply, and declared, "oh dang, that's goooood." We were both so happy with our choices - I can't speak to the pizza, but that was some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy soft in this perfectly nutty, cheesy, creamy sauce. *chef's kiss* For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which was perfect in every way. If we weren't already walking funny because of the race, we'd have still waddled out of Pizzicata from happy fullness. The service, the food, the vibe - we're here for it and we'll be back the next time we're in Mesa.

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

I love that they change their menu daily, it's handwritten and the details are posted on their Instagram page if you want to take a look before you arrive. Everything is made fresh to order! The day we had gone in, they had a few sandwich and pasta options available to choose from. My husband got the spicy Italian sausage ziti pasta dish and I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich came out first; I really liked the marinara sauce on it. It was a bit difficult to eat but exactly what I was expecting and wanting. The pasta took some time to come out, but that was fine. The sauce was like a pesto vodka sauce, very rich & filling, and also tasty. We were both only able to eat half of each dish since they were both large dishes. I believe they only serve pasta dishes on certain days, so if they have them on the menu, definitely consider ordering one of those. They seem to have sandwiches everyday. It's a pretty small place with a few tables & some bar type seating. It gets pretty busy around lunch time, so plan accordingly. We'll be back again to try other items!

There's never a shortage of options, which makes it easy to try something new--or stick with your favorites. Lately, I've been loving the chicken Caesar slice and the chicken carbonara slice--both packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. I always add artichokes and capers and have it served over spinach, and it's phenomenal every single time. It's one of those dishes you just don't mess with.
