I have ordered take away pizza from here so many times, but I have never remembered to leave a review. The pizza is really excellent, I would say perfection each time. The people that run it and the staff are really friendly, and it has a great neighborhood vibe. They have great coupons for 5 pizzas, which always reminds me to order from there again, especially when my kids have their friends over. Found Zeeks thanks to its strong Yelp rating for my family during our holiday season getaway to AZ. It definitely proved to be a solid choice & delivered as expected. Well-run, welcoming, and definitely worth the stop. We dined in. Dining room space has ample booth seating surrounded by TVs, so sports are always in view (CFP games were on when we visited). The pizza menu covers all the bases with multiple crust options including gluten-free, cauliflower, thin, traditional, and more. Our food came fast. Bonus points for table service! The house salad was generously topped, hot honey BBQ wings were flavorful, baked Alfredo pasta was ultra-cheesy, and zero complaints for the pizza. We met the owner who was awesome and even gave us a free beer (Wgich was one of the crispest Modelo's off tap that I had ever had!!!!! I went in after getting a tattoo for 6 hours and was hungry. So hungry and I saw this place and decided to try it. It's a small restaurant which isn't a problem when I went. There was plenty of seating. I ordered and sat down and then someone brought me my food. I had the 6.99 pizza and soda. The pizza is two slices and good. I personally don't like huge pizza crust and the crust on the pizza wasn't too big. It was perfect. They have a lottery machine which I find so random but it's kinda funny since it's so random. When we went to pick up, our food wasnt quite ready yet (not a problem as we wanted it hot). But I was so impressed by the communication and kindness of the staff. In the back they were thanking each other and encouraging each other. I have rarely seen that in a kitchen. The owner was back there working her heart out to help her team. That alone would have brought me back. But the food did that too. My dad ate almost a whole pizza by himself. He's picky about his pizza and that says a lot. He loved the Brooklyn style thinner crust pizza. I could have inhaled the Hot citrus wings all by myself. The menu is extensive and has many alternatives for different food allergies or preferences (gluten free/keto). I got takeout here and was pleasantly surprised. I loved that they allow you to do half and half's for their pizza. The customization gives you a way to try all their different flavors in a convenient way. The half Philly cheese steak and half chicken pesto pizza I got was near perfect. So glad to see that this place is finally open not too far from my home. If you've been to Zzeeks other locations, everything is very much similar on the menu. I do like the options of the 10 inch keto crust that is gluten-free as well as the 'double the dough' which is a nice thick (but not too thick crust) Drafts are $3.99, $6 Lunch Combo with a huge slice & drink and $.80 wing special on Sundays!! Pizzas, sandwich & fries were great & the breadstick bites are great with the marinara sauce. Truthfully, Zesty Zzeeks is just average to me in terms of pizza, but my partner likes it, so we still go every once in a while. For online ordering, their site is a bit disorganized and a little buggy. The very first time we ordered, it looks like they mixed up the crust orders for our two pies as well. I've tried a few of their speciality pizzas including the chicken pesto, New York white, and margherita. I wasn't wowed enough to want to order the same pie again. My partner likes to build his own pizza, which always includes pepperoni and sometimes jalepenos. He's been happier with the more basic pies. We've also gotten the fried zucchini and mozzarella sticks to try. We didn't think it was worth the price and wouldn't order them again. Zesty Zzeeks is located very conveniently for pickup orders. They do often have a good amount of customers every time we go. It's also a local chain, so it's still good to support small business. read more

Ordered a Brooklyn pizza and 20 wings. The pizza was nice and thin and tasty. Ordered the wings "naked" with two side sauces for dipping. Wings were crispy. Sauce supply was more than adequate. HOWEVER! The celery/carrots were pathetic. Three sad & warm baby carrots and two limp & pale pieces of celery. As a side for 20 (20!!) wings. Quality and quantity = LAME. The carrots/celery/dressing are meant as a compliment to the saucy/spicy wings! I look forward to the veggies as much as the wings and this was so exceptionally lackluster. I can not believe I almost forgot to write this review. I am slacking at times. My wife was looking for something different. She wanted a calzone. I did some searching and remembered that Zzeeks was by my Bashas. I looked up their menu and they had calzones. My wife got the calzone and loved it. It was a good size and the sauce came on the side. I got the meat pasta bowl and my beard grew two inches afterwards. This is one of the most tasty dishes I have ever had. They stuff pasta, sauce (which is really good), bacon bits, mozzarella, sausage and pepperoni into a bowl and bake it. What a good flavour. We tried the bead stick bites too. These rocked so much. The sauce they came with was good. The service was really good. The person that took the order was friendly. I will have to come back. They have some TVs and it would be good to watch a game on Sunday. I can not wait to get that meat pasta bowl again. read more

We have been fond of Zzeeks since before we moved to Phoenix. This is another great location. This location has a huge outside patio to enjoy the meal. We stumbled on this location one day we were getting bread from across the street. I had heard that Zzeeks has Detroit pizza, but was told this location did not have that specific dough. I would have been ok with being told No and moving on to what we usually order, but that did not happen. Another way to have what I wanted was offered. They could make a copy cat by doing a double dough in the New Yorker that we usually order. That is why we are loyal to Zzeeks, SERVICE! The pizza guy, I was told was the best and made the pizza exactly how was asked. OMG what a good pizza. OH and in case you are wondering, the double dough does not mean all dough. It is actually quite light. Brad love thin crust, why we usually get the New Yorker how it was meant to be made, but I like carbs. Brad noted that even though this was made with double the dough it was like eating a thin crust, because the dough was so light and tasty. The pizza at Zzeeks is ALWAYS the best.
