We have used Clockwork since they opened, Even when we moved several miles away, we went to delivery.Last night was the worst experience we have had . The usual consistency in their food was gone. The pizza crust was like bread. The toppings was greasy. But, the worst thing we have ever seen from a restaurant, was the garden salad. Our usual order of just lettuce and tomato was topped by an unidentifiable hot meat. The entire order was thrown out. i still see the image of the salad, which was gross. Unless they changed personnel. they always knew how we wanted our food prepared. read more

Let me begin with that I have to admit, I'm a native New Yorker which makes me a complete pizza snob! lol I'be lived in AZ since '04 and there are very few pizzerias that remind me of home. Clockwork Pizza is definitely one of them! everything on their menu is delicious, but what triggered me to write this review is their service. fast and prompt, but I had ordered via their app and for some reason they received a pepperoni order instead of the cheese pie I wanted. called them up and without hesitation they told me to come back and they'll have my cheese pizza ready. no argument, no debating, they just did the right thing. Gluten free pizza is AMAZING (I got the bbq chicken one), my husband and kid loved theirs too (this pizza was MUCH bigger than expected measurement wise). I asked for them to write something funny on the box and they did not disappoint for his birthday! ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! I would 100% recommend this place! Fast, efficient service, clean restaurant. Pizza wasn't anything to write home about, but I've always wanted to give them a try. Tried 2 different pies, salad and wings. Wings were tasty but soggy (may have been the fact that they were put in the styrofoam container and steamed). Not their fault, but we prefer well done wings. Pizza crust reminded me of dominos and could have used another 10 minutes in the oven. Salad dressing was good and the greens were fresh / croutons crunchy. I've used clockwork to cater my work's end of the year party for the last few years and they're great! They always have our order ready on time, they help bring it to the car, they provide plates and utensils as needed, and they're really reasonably priced. Pizza is great! We normally do the veggie pizza but sub the mushrooms with pepperoni. We also love the garlic knots. Very flavorful and soft and puffy! I recommended ordering two more marinara sauce to have a great garlic knot to mariana ratio! If you order online, it's completed through DoorDash. Not an issue but it's just some information. Also, you have an option for DoorDash to deliver to you or leave it at the door. I've selected to be handed to me personally but they are 3 for 3 to leaving it at the door. Sold my home in South Tempe and moved to NW Phx. One of the things I'll miss ? Clockwork pizza. Their pizza is consistently very good, especially the house "Godfather" and the vegetarian. Sandwiches are very good as well, albeit spring for the extra $4 to get double turkey, it's worth it. Service is invariably fast and friendly. Reasonably priced. My good friend and I came here for lunch and I was excited to try this spot. They were doing a fundraiser for Palestine on the day we came which made it the perfect choice: help those in need and support a local business while eating some good food. This is more of a takeout location than a dine-in one, but there were a few tables outside so we occupied one. While we were there, it was steady with people picking up their orders. We ordered from their combo specials, which include pizza and salad, pizza and wings, wings and salad, and a few more options, all come with drinks (canned soda or water bottle). Great prices and large portions. I ordered their #3 which is a salad and wings, and I chose their Greek salad and honey hot for my flavor. They offer traditional (bone-in) and boneless wings, I got the traditional and enjoyed them. The salad was good as well, lots of feta cheese and comes with a light vinaigrette. We also got their garlic knots which came with marinara, yummy. I ordered their super XL (20in) BBQ pizza to go, and it comes with BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, and red onions. This was huge! Didn't fit on my car floor so it rode in my passenger seat. It came with four containers of ranch, which is generous and so much tastier than store bought ranch for some reason. I like that it was cut into square slices, similar to another local pizza spot. I tried a slice of room temp pizza at home and it was fine, but then I heated up two slices in the toaster oven and they were much more flavorful and delicious. Just got into town and my favorite pizza spot had an hour wait, so thought I'd try this spot since it had good reviews and nearby. Super quick to order my pepperoni pizza and it was very reasonably priced. The young lady was very polite on the phone and face to face. Picked up in 15 minutes. I knocked out half the medium and while it was good, I have to admit I've definitely had better at a few other spots around town. We were not fans. I ordered a 14 inch pizza with sausage, black olive and ricotta and 10 boneless Buffalo wings. There was barely any sauce on the wings, and while the wings weren't bad, they weren't good. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single component of the pizza I liked, the crust tasted like cardboard, the sauce had an odd flavor and the cheese tasted sour. WASTE OF MONEY. I'LL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. OVER $50 PLUS FEES AND A TIP. DELIVERY WAS GREAT. That was the only plus. The overpriced boneless chicken wings weren't even real chicken. They were cheap frozen junk you can buy from the frozen aisle in your grocery store. PROBABLY made from that sick pink liquid gunk. Very little bbq flavoring. I'm not sure how they could have used any LESS. It was that bland. The ranch/blue cheese dressing was also bland had so little flavoring, it was impossible to determine from taste what it was. I only wish I could say the calzone was tasteless but it, the dough, and the Mariana sauce had a weird flavor. Similar to clove but unpleasant and not only unexpected but definitely not on a spice to be used on a calzone. The calzone was mainly just thick cheese, very little of the tiny pieces of green pepper and pineapple and after tasting, we looked. NO BACON OR RICOTTA CHEESE. The only two items worth eating were the cookie and cheesecake. Because of course both items were not made by this company. They were made, manufactured by entirely different companies. After tasting both the calzone and "boneless chicken" we had to throw ALL of both items in the trash. We then made sandwiches from the leftover pork tenderloin I had cooked the night before. Then split the cookie and cheesecake. We will definitely stick with Long Wongs! We were looking for a backup restaurant and it definitely WON'T BE CLOCKWORK PIZZA. How could this place have so many 5 star ratings? True we didn't try the pizza. I ordered pizza and paid extra for sliced tomatoes, I received maybe one slice of tomato in total and it was chopped. A got a recommendation from someone to try this place out. She said this was their go-to place when they wanted a pizza and they ordered it like clockwork due to their tasty sauce. We ordered a 16" Godfather pizza for pickup. Ordering was easy online and it was ready in about 20-25 minutes. Note that if you order online from their website using Slice there's a nominal fee of $.95 added to your total. When we got home the pizza looked amazing! It was thin crust and filled with lots of meat and veggies. The slices were more on the chewy/soft crust side vs crisp and the toppings were nicely cooked. The sauce was decent, maybe skewing on the salty side for me. I liked the pepperoni on the pizza which is surprising since I'm not a big pepperoni fan so that says something about the quality of their ingredients. We also shared the Greek salad. It was filled with a lot of gyro meat, piled on top of fresh greens, olives, feta, bell pepper and tomatoes. I enjoyed the dressing that went with it. The description online said it also came with onions but I didn't see any in the salad but it was still quite tasty without. The pizza looked and tasted delicious. I really liked the thickness of the dough (not to thick or thin). The cheese tasted like a high quality cheese. The bone in wings were a decent size and also were delicious. The price of everything was competitive to what else is out there for pizza restaurants. In my opinion you get a better product for a competitive price range. Will definitely be ordering again. Only thing I would recommend is having more unique wing sauces and having blue cheese as a dip choice instead of ranch. Went here for the first time, we got a Godfather 14" cauliflower crust. Wasn't what I wanted but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this crust. That pizza is a winner, we like lots of pepperoni, so I ordered it with extra pepperoni. It was a busy place on a Friday night, so I'm giving them a break on this, but there was a piece black plastic on top of the crust under the toppings, it looked like a piece of a plastic knockout from a shaker lid. Whenever I'm traveling I always like to try to get some pizza from somewhere local. There's nothing I enjoy more than eating pizza in a nice comfy hotel bed. This trip it was clockwork pizza after reading reviews and checking out pictures. I ordered it and had it delivered to my hotel. While the flavors were good, and they didn't skimp on the toppings, I did find it a bit greasier than I would have liked. I know pizza is supposed to have some grease, and I know some people really like it that way, and to each their own. However, it was that kind where the crust gets a little soggy which isn't my favorite, but it tasted good. I also thought the pricing was great, at least compared to spots near me in the Bay Area. Bf preferred The Godfather and I liked the bbq chicken! They even offer cauliflower crust if you're about that life. The hot wings were disappointing... very small and dinky and not at all hot. The salad was fresh and good. The calzone itself was awesomely sliced in sections which made it super easy to share. Crust wise the Calzone was just that perfect balance of crunch and softness that you look for in a well made Italian dish. The ingredients tasted fresh and the delivery was prompt. We made a point that we will visit the restaurant and eat there next time instead of just ordering delivery so we can have the full experience and add or take off any stars to this review. I ran into this place on Yelp and I saw that they had pretty large pizzas for a very good price. We decided to try the XL godfather pizza. This pizza sounded amazing because it has peperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and black olives. Well let me tell you a little bit about the sausage, it wasn't my favorite. The rest of the ingredients were all pretty good and well cooked. I love that the pizza is so big that most of the slices that you get do not have a crust or a small amount of crust. Another thing that I did notice is that they did not go skimpy on the ingredients put on the pizza.
