The pizza was the best! Will continue ordering from here. Better then Spinatos. Will entertain out of town guests with their pizza.

I haven't tried their pizza yet, but their customer service here is great. This place is so popular, they must be absolutely delicious! Everytime I go here, they are packed! read more

Wowsers! Excellent! Delicious! Cannot wait to go back! (How's that for an opening line?) As you walk up to the door of Clockwork Pizza the first thing that you notice is that you can smell tasty food from outside. That is always a good sign, a restaurant that doesn't smell of food should be avoided. Step up to the counter and place your order and you are mere minutes away from one of the best pizzas you have ever had! It is a thin N.Y. style pizza that just will knock your socks off and the crust was so good that no bones remained. Oh and by the way, try the Garlic Knots. I know, most places they are an after thought but at Clockwork they pay attention to every detail including their garlic knots which are large, soft, hot, yeasty, garlicy and hands down just awesome. The place is not a dine-in restaurant, but there are some tables outside if you are inclined to eat your pie there. We recommend that you take some cups with ice in them because they sell big bottles of soda but only have tiny water cups and no ice I'm sad to say. But that's ok, most of their business is delivery and carry-out anyway so there you go. Try it, you'll be very, very, very happy. read more

I was short on time last weekend and it was late, so I ordered something from Pizza Hut. God it was awful. They should be ashamed. Just had another incredible pizza from Clockwork. These are the type of awesome pizza places that are putting the big chains out of business. You guys rock! read more

I've tried a lot of pizza places around the Valley, and Clockwork Pizza is still my favorite. My go-to order is the #3 lunch special: a Godfather slice, hot wings, and a drink. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. No matter how many times I stop by, they never disappoint. The customer service is just as impressive as the food. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel appreciated from the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place that keeps you coming back. If you're looking for great pizza, awesome wings, and outstanding service, Clockwork Pizza is definitely worth a visit! read more

Clockwork Pizza - Cauliflower pizza with gyro meat and greek salad container - Pizza Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

The best of the best, we've been eating at this place for over 15 years, absolutely delicious, great menu, great customer service.

Fast, efficient service, clean restaurant. Pizza wasn't anything to write home about, but I've always wanted to give them a try. Tried 2 different pies, salad and wings. Wings were tasty but soggy (may have been the fact that they were put in the styrofoam container and steamed). Not their fault, but we prefer well done wings. Pizza crust reminded me of dominos and could have used another 10 minutes in the oven. Salad dressing was good and the greens were fresh / croutons crunchy. Next time we go we will need to order a thin crust speciality pizza, ask for the wings to be well done and try another salad or appetizer. Definitely going back read more

Gluten free pizza is AMAZING (I got the bbq chicken one), my husband and kid loved theirs too (this pizza was MUCH bigger than expected measurement wise). I asked for them to write something funny on the box and they did not disappoint for his birthday! ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! I would 100% recommend this place! (I am Celiac- if I have a reaction, I will repost.) If I don't repost, all went great! I will say, the garlic sauce is meh but the ranch is on point. ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! read more

Consistent quality pizzas and for an amazing price!! This has been my go-to pizza night spot to order from for over 4yrs now

My good friend and I came here for lunch and I was excited to try this spot. They were doing a fundraiser for Palestine on the day we came which made it the perfect choice: help those in need and support a local business while eating some good food. This is more of a takeout location than a dine-in one, but there were a few tables outside so we occupied one. While we were there, it was steady with people picking up their orders. We ordered from their combo specials, which include pizza and salad, pizza and wings, wings and salad, and a few more options, all come with drinks (canned soda or water bottle). Great prices and large portions. I ordered their #3 which is a salad and wings, and I chose their Greek salad and honey hot for my flavor. They offer traditional (bone-in) and boneless wings, I got the traditional and enjoyed them. The salad was good as well, lots of feta cheese and comes with a light vinaigrette. We also got their garlic knots which came with marinara, yummy. I ordered their super XL (20in) BBQ pizza to go, and it comes with BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, and red onions. This was huge! Didn't fit on my car floor so it rode in my passenger seat. It came with four containers of ranch, which is generous and so much tastier than store bought ranch for some reason. I like that it was cut into square slices, similar to another local pizza spot. I tried a slice of room temp pizza at home and it was fine, but then I heated up two slices in the toaster oven and they were much more flavorful and delicious. The folks running this restaurant are friendly (family-owned) and do great work, be sure to stop by and support them! read more

We have used Clockwork since they opened, Even when we moved several miles away, we went to delivery.Last night was the worst experience we have had . The usual consistency in their food was gone. The pizza crust was like bread. The toppings was greasy. But, the worst thing we have ever seen from a restaurant, was the garden salad. Our usual order of just lettuce and tomato was topped by an unidentifiable hot meat. The entire order was thrown out. i still see the image of the salad, which was gross. Unless they changed personnel. they always knew how we wanted our food prepared. read more

I've used clockwork to cater my work's end of the year party for the last few years and they're great! They always have our order ready on time, they help bring it to the car, they provide plates and utensils as needed, and they're really reasonably priced. The pizza here is pretty good but it's really all about their garlic knots. Those are amazing! Definitely check them out. read more

Pizza is great! We normally do the veggie pizza but sub the mushrooms with pepperoni. We also love the garlic knots. Very flavorful and soft and puffy! I recommended ordering two more marinara sauce to have a great garlic knot to mariana ratio! If you order online, it's completed through DoorDash. Not an issue but it's just some information. Also, you have an option for DoorDash to deliver to you or leave it at the door. I've selected to be handed to me personally but they are 3 for 3 to leaving it at the door. Unsure how else to communicate that I don't want the food to be left on the ground... read more

Great place! Their pizza is awesome, and I order from them all the time. The sauces are delicious and the staff is very friendly. I really appreciate that they keep online orders in thermal bags so the pizza stays hot until pickup. Not many restaurants do that. Thank you so much! read more

Sold my home in South Tempe and moved to NW Phx. One of the things I'll miss ? Clockwork pizza. Their pizza is consistently very good, especially the house "Godfather" and the vegetarian. Sandwiches are very good as well, albeit spring for the extra $4 to get double turkey, it's worth it. Service is invariably fast and friendly. Reasonably priced. Tie goes to the runner; so this shop is a "5" by a nose ! I will miss them. read more

Let me begin with that I have to admit, I'm a native New Yorker which makes me a complete pizza snob! lol I'be lived in AZ since '04 and there are very few pizzerias that remind me of home. Clockwork Pizza is definitely one of them! everything on their menu is delicious, but what triggered me to write this review is their service. fast and prompt, but I had ordered via their app and for some reason they received a pepperoni order instead of the cheese pie I wanted. called them up and without hesitation they told me to come back and they'll have my cheese pizza ready. no argument, no debating, they just did the right thing. I highly recommend Clockwork Pizza, I promise you won't be disappointed!! read more

I can't believe I have not rated this place. This is the best place for good food at a great price. The new menu is very good. The sandwiches here are my favorite. We are trying the calzone today. The one thing no matter what else we order we get an order of garlic knots. Clockwork Pizza has the best garlic knots in all the land. Always cooked perfectly with butter and garlic. Pairs nice with pizza, sandwiches, or calzones! Get the garlic knots and you are welcome! All the employees are courteous and efficient. We usually call in our order and by the time we get there it is ready. Occasionally we have to wait but never too long. Try this place out. read more

Just got into town and my favorite pizza spot had an hour wait, so thought I'd try this spot since it had good reviews and nearby. Super quick to order my pepperoni pizza and it was very reasonably priced. The young lady was very polite on the phone and face to face. Picked up in 15 minutes. I knocked out half the medium and while it was good, I have to admit I've definitely had better at a few other spots around town. I honestly can't put my finger on it, like it was good but somehow I swear it had a strange after taste while you chewed. Maybe I'm nuts, I'd definitely suggest others give them a try. This is of course just my personal experience read more

A got a recommendation from someone to try this place out. She said this was their go-to place when they wanted a pizza and they ordered it like clockwork due to their tasty sauce. We ordered a 16" Godfather pizza for pickup. Ordering was easy online and it was ready in about 20-25 minutes. Note that if you order online from their website using Slice there's a nominal fee of $.95 added to your total. When we got home the pizza looked amazing! It was thin crust and filled with lots of meat and veggies. The slices were more on the chewy/soft crust side vs crisp and the toppings were nicely cooked. The sauce was decent, maybe skewing on the salty side for me. I liked the pepperoni on the pizza which is surprising since I'm not a big pepperoni fan so that says something about the quality of their ingredients. We also shared the Greek salad. It was filled with a lot of gyro meat, piled on top of fresh greens, olives, feta, bell pepper and tomatoes. I enjoyed the dressing that went with it. The description online said it also came with onions but I didn't see any in the salad but it was still quite tasty without. Due to convenience of ordering and quickish wait time I'd definitely try more pizzas from Clockwork! Covid related info: - Curbside pickup available - No staff wear masks read more

We were not fans. I ordered a 14 inch pizza with sausage, black olive and ricotta and 10 boneless Buffalo wings. There was barely any sauce on the wings, and while the wings weren't bad, they weren't good. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single component of the pizza I liked, the crust tasted like cardboard, the sauce had an odd flavor and the cheese tasted sour. The sausage on the pizza was mostly gristle. I had been wanting to try this place for a while because of the high reviews and was thoroughly disappointed. The search for good NY style pizza continues.. read more

Great crust and consistently great pizza. Best pizza in South Tempe. I love this place! The owner and staff are amazing.

It has been far too long since my last visit .. I moved out of the area & recently found myself looking for a salad & here I am! I went with the gyro salad because their gyro meat is really good and their greens are always crunchy. Just enough meat, salad greens, olives, onions & cheese to make this the perfect bite. Service is always fast & polite. They have limited seating outside if you're eating here and plenty of parking. Thanks again! read more

Garlic knots are a must!! Often we go there just for those. The staff are super friendly and the food is ready quickly and hot.

I hate that I didn't take any pics but the food was delicious. We ordered a few pizzas and the tasty bread with spinach and cheese soooo good! Somehow I ended up with two cheese pizzas instead of a pepperoni and one of the managers added them to my pizza at no charge. Top notch service and great food! read more

Bf and I are old fashioned. And by old fashioned I mean we call in our orders rather than ordering online lol. Mostly because most places charge extra ordering online and we are not about that life. The guy who answered the phone was friendly, seemed like he was still learning how to punch in orders, but nice enough. We ordered a large pizza, half Godfather, half BBQ chicken, hot wings, and jalapeño bread. The pizza itself was good, solid. 4 stars. Nice and thin the way I like it. Bf preferred The Godfather and I liked the bbq chicken! They even offer cauliflower crust if you're about that life. The hot wings were disappointing... very small and dinky and not at all hot. The jalapeño bread was also disappointing. The jalapeños were raw. There was scarcely any garlic or butter. The marinara it came with was very small. Clockwork pizza is good and worth getting! However, the sides I'd skip. Clock no work. 3.5 stars. read more

Went here for the first time, we got a Godfather 14" cauliflower crust. Wasn't what I wanted but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this crust. That pizza is a winner, we like lots of pepperoni, so I ordered it with extra pepperoni. It was a busy place on a Friday night, so I'm giving them a break on this, but there was a piece black plastic on top of the crust under the toppings, it looked like a piece of a plastic knockout from a shaker lid. Fortunately I didn't try to chew through it or swallow it. It had a pretty sharp edge on one end. This is the reason for the 4 star rating otherwise they would be a solid 5. read more

Can I just say I love Clockwork Pizza? Everyone has their own personal preference and Clockworks Pizza is my fav. This shop is a family owned business and a great place to pick up your favorite pizza, wings , calzones etc! I'm not even a big pizza fan but I really crave these pizzas! Great ratio of crust to toppings ( I don't like it when pizza dough is so thick that you're eating mostly bread-if I wanted a sandwich I'd get one! We can even order a gluten free pizza that a family member needs and regular for the rest of us-and the GF is just as good. The kitchen is always very active and many of our east valley friends call in an order on SLICE and pizza is ready to pick up when they get there. Thanks Clockwork for last night's calories-they were well worth it! read more

WASTE OF MONEY. I'LL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. OVER $50 PLUS FEES AND A TIP. DELIVERY WAS GREAT. That was the only plus. The overpriced boneless chicken wings weren't even real chicken. They were cheap frozen junk you can buy from the frozen aisle in your grocery store. PROBABLY made from that sick pink liquid gunk. Very little bbq flavoring. I'm not sure how they could have used any LESS. It was that bland. The ranch/blue cheese dressing was also bland had so little flavoring, it was impossible to determine from taste what it was. I only wish I could say the calzone was tasteless but it, the dough, and the Mariana sauce had a weird flavor. Similar to clove but unpleasant and not only unexpected but definitely not on a spice to be used on a calzone. The calzone was mainly just thick cheese, very little of the tiny pieces of green pepper and pineapple and after tasting, we looked. NO BACON OR RICOTTA CHEESE. The only two items worth eating were the cookie and cheesecake. Because of course both items were not made by this company. They were made, manufactured by entirely different companies. After tasting both the calzone and "boneless chicken" we had to throw ALL of both items in the trash. We then made sandwiches from the leftover pork tenderloin I had cooked the night before. Then split the cookie and cheesecake. We will definitely stick with Long Wongs! We were looking for a backup restaurant and it definitely WON'T BE CLOCKWORK PIZZA. How could this place have so many 5 star ratings? True we didn't try the pizza. But who with any awareness could rate the what the present as boneless chicken wings or calzone as top tier five star? read more
