IN search of a good Hamburger? You've likely heard of In-N-Out, which started in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California. This location in Tempe, AZ is a good representation of a modern In-N-Out. On the positive side, You'll get friendly service with a smile, [[HIGHLIGHT]]a clean restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], a great hamburger that's cooked fresh to order, a wide variety of Soft Drinks and Pink Lemonade, and of course, freshly cut french fries. On the downside as with many In-N-Outs, you'll find [[HIGHLIGHT]]A LOT of crowds, a very long drive-thru line, some tight parking[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and some don't like French Fries. I personally love the French Fries which I order Fry-well so it's fried a bit longer and more crispy. With the crowds...it's crowed because it's a good hamburger at a good price-point. Price-wise, In-N-Out hasn't raised its prices as fast as its competitors which is a good thing. it's my favorite Hamburger/Cheeseburger experience out there..nothing comes close. read more

Service was quick even with heavy traffic. I had the animal fries. The sauce tastes a bit like the big Mac sauce. But it wasn't overpowering. Would be nice if they had a bit more of a diverse menu as I dont eat beef so coming here with friends who do is a very underwhelming experience. read more

I really appreciated the location of this In-N-Out being right next to the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa. I was staying there for a conference and it was great to have this casual option in walking distance, and with later hours than any of the food options on the resort property too. Got a double double and fries, animal style. The burger was good! The fries were just okay to me. The sauce and cheese on top seemed like it quickly congealed. I liked the pebble ice for the drink. Pretty salty too, but overall hit the spot and did its job of keeping me full for a busy afternoon. Rounding up due to location! read more

Major shout out to Andrew for helping me correct an order during lunch rush! I was in the day before and didn't realize until I was home that my order was incorrect. No biggie, it was still so good. I stopped in today to see if they could give a credit/partial credit for next time, but Andrew was super pleasant and helpful and had it remade fresh on the spot. My first in n out experience wasn't the best but now, this experience and this location, totally redeemed it!! I got the same burger, double double, and it was actually very good this time. Perfectly juicy and flavored beef patty. Pro tip you can ask for cooked onions and no tomatoes if that's your speed (like mine) and it turned out sooo good. Also got fries (not pictured) that were perfectly cooked. My friend requested extra crispy which you can do although she found it too crispy, whatever floats the boat but originally it was pretty good, just a tad salty. This location had so many orders but short waiting time which was great. They also had the nicest workers and great conversation with them which I loved. Also gave out cute freebies. I'm not a fan of In N Out but my family enjoys all In N Out Burger -West Coast. Visiting AZ this was our first stop. My family enjoyed their burgers and I ordered fries. Service is always good. Service was 10/10, always friendly service. Excellent staff, hard workers! We went through the drive thru and the lines are always a maze. It's easier when they have staff outside taking the order, but I would never expect staff to be outside now. It is far too hot for anyone to be outside. So, with that said, we used the speaker to order. No issues there. Drive thru was fast given there was a long line. Giving three stars because everything was SO overly salted. I've gone to many In-N-Out's and the burgers and fries have been not too salty and seasoned well. But, my order today was extremely salty. I would come back to this location again, but probably ask for light or no salt and then just add my own. read more

Finally had my first double double! Good burger! Had it animal style in those grilled onions hit the spot. They were delicious. Love the grilled bun, nice and crispy. The food has always been some of my favorite, however on this day the burgers weee definitely a bit over salted. I still love me some in n out but maybe just watch the seasoning? It's a must stop every time I'm out west. Probably because we don't have them on the east coast. The reason is that they only distribute their fresh (never frozen) patties within 300 miles of their meat facility. The menu is simple with only 4 choices and the prices are just crazy cheap. The potatoes for the fries are peeled and diced at each location. Is it the best burger ever? Not at all, but it is still a very tasty treat. read more

Strange drive thru set up where you traverse a bit of a labyrinthine, narrow-laned area to wait in a long line. Kind of weird since it's a newish In n Out you would have thought they'd plan the drive thru better. Once we actually got to the person taking orders everything went smoothly and our orders were just as requested. Note that they will ask you if you are eating in the car, and if you say yes you will just get the same packaging as if you were dining in the restaurant. Anyways, it's all about the animal style, protein style cheezburgers! P.S. I actually enjoyed the fries from this location. Usually at In n Out if I order them I feel like I'm eating fry shaped cardboard. read more

We were so disappointed after not being able to get a burger at Bad Jimmy's in Phoenix and we were now all craving burgers lol. So, we stopped here on the way home. Like any other In & Out, it was busy as usual even after midnight. This location is open til 1:30am though. We were able to find a spot for all 6 of is even though it was packed. The food is always fresh, consistent, and exactly what you expect -- but what really stands out is the top-tier service every single time. Yesterday, I saw the woman behind the counter come out to hand hats to a group of kids before they even ordered, and I overheard the manager offering to walk a large order across the street for a customer without a car. I would say that the food here is what you would expect in terms of in n out fare. Nothing spectacular, but it will do the job. The service is decent, and it's always busy, no matter what time of the day or night that you are there it seems. I got the double double, fries, hamburger and sodas. There aren't a ton of in n outs to choose from, so if this is the closest one to you when you're in the area, you should stop by if you're craving some. read more

Let's be real I don't think I've ever been to an In N Out that was horrible in my entire life. Today was no exception. The drive thru lanes are quite a maze however and I can see it being a nightmare some days/nights. While I was able to order at the intercom it took a lot longer than your typical wait or make it pay and pick up your food. Once we did however service was great as always and the food delicious. The food is always presented well and we left happy. read more

This jumps straight to my #2 burger spot overall (Shake Shack is still king in my book, but The Melt is giving it a serious run for its money with that melty, juicy goodness). I went to tell the manager can I have a new potato fried... even the regular one. he told me it was fresh when he gave it to me... come on man... I know what freshness look like. I did not ague... but this is probably one of the last time I will stop by again. I must say the one in SF.. was really good and that was why I decided to come here... I'm here on business trip. This Warren Buffet operation has been giving us ice cream since the 40's and we've been licking our lips ever since. Since we were kids we've been savoring and delecting in such items as the Buster Bar, the Peanut Buster Parfait and more... it just didn't seem right when they started offering burgers! Anyway, overall, this is one fast food joint that has held it own, pretty consistent considering the times, albeit their prices are almost at the ridiculous! But, all things considered, this is your typical Dairy Queen or as now known as DQ fast food and ice cream parlor (I'm dating myself here) with their regular brand menu and unique offerings. As a sporadic junk food-eater I've over the years respectfully tried everything on Dairy Queen's menu (I refuse to call it DQ) at least once, sometimes more - actually, many times more. Overall, I don't think they're as good as they once were - generally speaking but continue to hold their consistency and quality... except prices. So as to make it easy to gauge each of these places, when I do try them, I've devised a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being outright down and dirty nasty, and 5 being the best a fast-food joint can be! I gauge: 1) cleanliness; 2) quality service; 3) product quality and consistency; 4) convenience; 5) accessibility; 6) taste; and 7) the personnel's attitude and customer service level. I do not review any location without visiting it a minimum of twice. This place scores 3.8 of 5. I will come back and do recommend it! Just be ready for sticker shock.

I used the app & it was confusing as to how to pick the food up. I went inside because it said something about grab & go. It included 2 new sliders, the garlic Parmesan crispy chicken sandwich, with a 5 piece mozzarella sticks & a drink. I got an unsweetened iced tea. The sliders were okay. They didn't have much sauce on them. They were dry without dipping them in ranch dressing. The mozzarella sticks were good, but the marinara was not good. It was really sweet. I wouldn't get a drink again since the unsweetened iced tea tasted like it had some sugar in it. It wasn't sweet enough for sweet tea, but didn't taste like unsweetened ice tea & I was the one who filled it. I'm sure I'll go back, but just get some different things.

That's when we gave up at left. This place is junk, I only hear bad things about it. Terrible management, or just zero management. Go anywhere else.

On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

We were seated right next to the big stuffed leopard which was fun. Our waitress was super personable but there were a few service mistakes. My entree was missing the potatoes it was supposed to come with. And when they boxed my meal, they didn't include everything like the salad and chimichurri sauce. Luckily I checked and was able to get everything added, but staff shouldn't be neglecting or throwing away part of my meal. I would definitely come back here though as the ambience and food were top notch!

It's fine, but I just feel like it could be better with maybe more deli items? They used to have an ahi salad that was so good, but I didn't see it on the menu last time. Fate Brewing Company may not be my absolute favorite in the state, but somehow I always end up having a really good time here. The space is big, open, and great for groups. The beer is decent and reliable, nothing that completely blows my mind, but solid enough that everyone can find something they like. Food-wise, the pizza and fish & chips are both decent. They're satisfying, comforting, and good companions to a pint. What really stands out is the vibe. Every time I come here, the experience is fun. Easygoing, social, and no pressure. My co-workers also found Fate Brewing Company to be perfectly satisfactory, which honestly feels like a win in a group setting. Not the top of my AZ craft beer list but a place I enjoy and keep coming back to.
