I recently signed up with Stride Pest Control after they were recommended by others on our neighborhood fb page. I'm really pleased with their service! After we noticed carpenter ants making their way inside, Stride quickly responded with a follow up visit. Cade called to let me know he was on his way half an hour before arriving, and he was really friendly and professional. He treated all the areas inside and went outside and wiped spider webs down from eight large patio windows with a special duster. He even got rid of a cluster of spider eggs hiding under my kids wagon that we keep in the garage. Thank goodness because it was so gross and not something I could muster up the courage to deal with. Alex was our technician and was a pleasant young man and seemed very competent. After a billing snafu (my check was inadvertently not credited to my invoice), I contacted the office. The phone attendant was polite and escalated it to the owner, Tyson. He called me within an hour and had the problem fixed. While he noted that it was a rare occurrence, he promised to help equip his staff to handle problems like this in the future. That kind of care and concern is also rare, and something that certainly distinguishes this company. I just recently moved to Texas and bought a new home. I learned that pest control here is a necessity rather than nice to have so I asked for the bids from different vendors to bid on the job... I decided to go with Stride. On the appointed date, the service person shows up, extremely professional and courteous. Explain to me what he plans to do and how long it would take ... the whole nice yards. Once he was done, he informed me what he did and when he will be back. While it is premature to state the fruits of his work, but was very impressed in his professionalism and subject expertise. It's been a month since I scheduled my service with Stride, and I am happy with their service. We had ants. Lots of ants. Our technician Cameron came out, and took care of all of them. Was happy to answer any questions we may have had regarding the bait used, or any ill effects to pets or children. Total service time was around 30 minutes, and for an 1800 sq ft. house, the rate was very affordable! 10/10, will do service again. Last Saturday morning, I woke up to find a rodent in the bathroom. We called Stride Pest Control mid-morning and they were at our house by noon. Micheal (I believe that was his name) was AMAZING. So helpful, knowledgeable, thorough and respectful. He set traps, put out poisin and sticky pads. Within two days, the rodent was caught...DEAD! Stride is AMAZING! I had a tenacious ant problem, and the pest control company that I previously hired was unable to eliminate the problem for over 10 months. After several sprays and even some bait, the ants were still present and even increased in number over the 10 months. Out of frustration, especially because I had an infant at home, I called Stride after reading the yelp reviews. Tyson was so generous and knowledgeable on the phone. When he came to my house, he was very thorough and actually took time to try and find where the ants were coming from. The sheer amount of time he spent evaluating the situation was impressive. After spraying and leaving bait in many spots, my ant problem has finally been cured!! He even made a courtesy call 2 weeks after the treatment to follow up. I never got such wonderful customer service with my old pest control company. They never took time to check where the ants could be coming from, whereas Tyson did. They never got up to look around at the skylight in my bathroom as a potential entry point, or looked around for any entry points for that matter, whereas Tyson did. They never educated me on ant behavior, whereas Tyson did. They never called to follow up on the problem, whereas Tyson did. My house is ant free because of Stride Pest Control and Tyson. I switched my quarterly service to Stride, and I am so glad I found a company with spectacular customer service, impeccable work ethic, and incredible attention to detail. We've had Stride Pest Control for about a year now - we bought a year in advance and got a discount, which was great. I've been very pleased with the service, they let you know in advance when they're scheduled to come (they come quarterly) and you can let them know about any problems you've noticed that need to be addressed. You can choose if you want them to just spray outside or if you want them to also come inside. A few times, I called them to come out in between our scheduled service appointments because we saw ants, etc. and they always came out within a few days to address it. Their customer service is great and all of the technicians were very polite and professional. I called Stride a week and a half ago to see about quarterly service. Tyson, the owner, was so personable and answered all my questions. I immediately knew from other Yelp reviews and my phone call with Tyson, that this was the company I wanted to give a shot at my business. He was able to come out and do our first treatment the same day! He uses all the same control products as our last company, but at a better price and higher quality service. A few days after he came (we had specifically asked him not to treat the inside on the first visit), we had ants inside. Over the past 2 years, we have been very pleased with this small, but local company. We have worked them hard, but the bugs have disappeared, and we have never gotten any attitude on the phone or in person when we call with questions, etc. They are committed to surviving as a local business here in Central Texas and so we won't be forced into another Terminex arrangement.
