It's a state inspection, so honestly, what more do you need? The guy doing the inspections was super nice, fast, and even made us laugh. The inspection was around $13, and we tipped him because anyone who can get me through a required car errand that efficiently has earned it. Even with a line, they move FAST. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I've seen a gun get pulled on a customer in the Bronx, I've seen misdiagnosis that I absolutely knew was wrong, and pulled a customer to the side to tell him to take his car and leave. I've seen muffler shops rip off old ladies who didn't know. So I don't know about the other reviews. I would say if you feel like you're getting a runaround, then leave and go somewhere else. Things are tough out there, it's hard to get same-day service. Independent mechanic shops are generally really busy and work a week to two weeks out in advance so the idea that you can drive in somewhere and get something done is not realistic.
