My car was leaking fluid and went to this place yesterday about 4:30. Spoke to Matt and told me come back tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock as they were almost closing. I went back this morning at approximately 8:30. Matt was there and took excellent care of us. He said we could wait for about 15 or 20 minutes and he would be done or we wcome back later. We chose to leave my car there and in my husband's truck went and got some breakfast. When we returned, they were not done and Matt told us it would be just a few more minutes. Sure enough it was just a few more minutes. Matt explained what was wrong with the car however, this place does not take care of the issues I was having with my car. The amount we were charged for the amount of inspection they did for the car was well worth it. I highly recommend this place. read more

Went to get my tires rotated and checked after my tire light came on. Service was fast and friendly and there is a really cute Taqueria next to it with seating. I also had my pup with me and we walked around the nearby neighborhood while we were getting the service done. It was $35 and less than an hour. I will definitely be coming back! The waiting room is a bit small, but like I said, there's room around the shop to walk, sitting areas with your yummy tacos, and even sit in the shaded grass areas. read more

My Toyota Highlander had become very unpleasant when stopping, really shaking the car. I had performed front brake work and knew it wasn't that. Being full time four-wheel drive, I had no idea what was worn out or how extensive the repair might be. We scheduled to drop the car off the next day. Within 1-1/2 hours they knew the issue and called me to discuss with an estimate. My vehicle was finished within four hours of drop off. Driving it today was so incredibly pleasing! My high mileage SUV felt new once again, all problems solved! We are ecstatic and the cost was most reasonable. I have used Garcia's for inspections mostly and have always been happy with them. Brought my vehicle in for an inspection. Unlike some shops I've used, Garcia's didn't inflate the price by adding parts and services the car didn't require. My tire had a puncture on which the mechanic spent about an hour to repair. He had a difficult time locating the tiny hole, but didn't give up until he found the leak. Prices are competitive, and the entire staff is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. My car was finished in less than a day. This was the first time I brought my car to Garcia's and definitely will not be the last. read more

I am giving Mr. Garcia 2 stars because although he is great my teenage daughter was deceived by him after I put his trust to give her car care that is trusting. For one he charged $193 for an oil change plus change of cabin air filter. When I literally take it to Walmart and only pay less than $50. Told her she needed a tune up when in fact her car did not need one until after 105,000 miles. Her 2018 Nissan Altima barely had 89,000 miles. I had to take the car to Nissan and spent a whopping $313 to have them redo her tune up because it was misfiring and jerking. I do not drive her car so when she told me a month after the fact the tune up was done I drove her car and was worried that my child had been driving this car in this condition which brings my rant with this review. Nissan told me these type of newer cars did NOT need a tune up until AFTER 105,000 miles and the tune up was done shoddy. I am frustrated because of the money spent unnecessarily and Mr. Garcia should have known her car DID NOT need a tune up he is all about the money. I have daughters and want them to get great car care in which safety comes first NOT money. The money wasn't the issue it is being deceived. I will move on to paying at the dealership and not these people who state they are trusting when it is just about money. read more

I just left after having Flowmasters Super 44s added to my 2014 Chevy Silverado. I couldn't be happier with the service, the quality of work, and the friendliest guys that worked with me. I bought a kit off eBay for Flowmasters and my friend told me to get it and he'd put it on as it was to be "bolt on only." Well as we found out at 10pm 06-25-2017, it is not bolt on. Because we took off the stock exhaust and learned that we made a mistake. The Flowmasters were only muffler and back. So my bud said to go to Mufflin Muffler and have them do the work. I drove through all the traffic from south Austin to up there and was told to come back with the stock muffler and they would do it. I really didn't have the motivation to drive through traffic twice to go back up there. So I called the place nearest my home via Yelp. The owner picked up the phone and gave me a quote. I then called back to tell him the whole story that I took most of the exhaust off and he said to bring it up there and he'll take a look at it. Ok so I made it up there and he looked at what I had and shot it to me straight. Didn't b.s. Me at all. Have me 2 options. A cheap route and a more expensive route. I went the cheap route because I had a dentist appointment at 12 and I wanted to get in and out. The owner said he won't make any promises but he'll see what he could do. I sat in their waiting room which had good a/c on but I went to see what was going on. The owner had my truck almost half finished. He told me that he was going to do some work that would be more expensive but he would still charge me as I asked for the cheap route. So instead of doing clamps on the exhaust, he welded. Which was the best way to go. I'm not going to tell the price because every situation is not the same but I thought what he did was in good business. I watched the whole time since after I left the waiting room. The other guy Matt was nice and they both listened to my questions and gave me good believable answers. So now my truck really has the sound it's supposed to and the owner even trimmed the tailpipe and installed a tip that I left to go to O'Reily Auto Parts and came back. Didn't charge anything for that. Added more welds to make the system secure and left me feeling highly satisfied. I read the other reviews and it sounds bad but I didn't get that experience when I was there. If you talk to everyone like an adult and give respect you will get more than what you were looking for. I plan on using this place for my oil changes in the future and GOD forbid I need repairs. But if I do I will go here. 5 stars. Nothing less. read more

The owner was so horrible. He doesnt know how to write english. Im deaf and i use sign language. He didnt clearly warn me that he will charge me for diagnosis. He didnt explain clearly. I was upset and i walked to my car. He was running to my car and took my key. Refused to give back. Then i Had to call the cops on him. Owner acted like childish. Greedy. Tricked me. I went there to have a muffler put on my car. He told me $90 cash. So I gave him the go ahead , handed him the keys and me and my wife went to run errands . We came back and hour later picked up the car and took it home. Next thing you know I open my trunk and see that my sub, speaker box, and amp are all gone. So we go up there to ask about it and ended up calling the cops. While my wife was talking to him he got all rude and said " You find finger prints than we did it!" while wearing mechanics gloves! These guys are what mechanics should be. Honest, fast and reasonably priced. They have saved me $1000s of dollars over the last few years. I took our low milage 2008 Mazda Tribute to the dealer for an oil leak and was quoted over $1600 to fix it. I thought that was absurd so I went and talked to the Garcia brothers at Garcia Precision. Turns out the dealership was wrong and it wasn't what they said. Garcia brothers had it fixed for around $200 and it was done in a few hours. They have done the same several times since and are now my "go to" mechanic. As a side note these guys are also very fast at fixing flats. My last flat was fixed in 12 minutes(yes, I timed it)! Dropped of my car to get my horn checked (horn switch on steering wheel did not work) and one break light was not working. Quote was $15 to $20. Technician called an hour later saying the horn switch is broken, can only be ordered with new airbag module. Estimate was $500 for labor and parts to fix the car. Investigating the broken horn switch and brake light bulb change was $50. I declined the horn switch repair - checked the horn myself and found a wire disconnected below the steering wheel - connected it and the horn worked again. Also checked with Jeep dealer and the horn switch can be ordered and installed separately - a task that is very easy to do and takes less than 10 minutes. Very big disappointment with this repair shop: Wrong diagnosis, wrong parts recommended, misleading information to customer, too much time quoted. read more

This is by far one of my worst experiences ever. i took my 2002 Chevy Caviler here to have the fuel pump replaced and have a new fuel filter installed. TED the owner was so rude and unprofessional not only did they severely over charge me for the work over 640$ for a job that took them about an hour i picked up my car assured everything was ready to go. the next day the car left me stranded at campus. i called and ted was like its not my problem after some back and forth he finally towed the car back to his shop once it arrived he called me and said there is nothing wrong the car is working fine . not only did he insult me but he also called me a liar i went and got the after arguing with him stating something was obviously still wrong i requested to see the receipt for the parts he placed in my car he refused and said i was insulting him. he told me to leave the car over night and he would check it in the morning the next day he said that he had it fixed and i could come get it. i drove the car to the as station right down the street went inside and when i came out the car didn't start. when io walked back over he told me once again its not his problem now I'm stuck with a broken car and no money to fix it.. avoid this place like the plague read more
