Alex and his team are good people. Straightforward and to the point about questions while giving educated suggestions on all things wheels. I brought my Jaguar in to get spacers and they were fast and responsive over the phone with a good time to drop off and a price. Alex and the lady upfront, can't remember her name...also showed me some quality wheels when I decide to upgrade in a few months. If you value honesty and getting straight to the point backed by quality work...go see this folks. It's nice having a place like this in south austin you can rely on for wheels and tires. read more

I needed help with custom wheels and a guy called Alex Cantu and his team were just fantastic at the South Congress location. Helpful, professional with a great attitude and made things super easy and clear on Rent to Own. They changed their name just recently from Rent A Tire to "Raw" and the store looks small but they have a HUGE selection of rims/wheels and custom lug nuts and even gave me great deal on a lug nut key for a tricky 7-spline nut on my other truck. read more

The cleanliness of the store was very inviting and the professionalism of the salespersons was first rate. We treated with such excellence that we definitely recommend this Rent a Tire location to everyone. read more

Jose Pepe provided great service! Would totally recommend going. Will be telling my family & friends to come here.

I recently ran over a spring that punctured one of my tires and caused it to go flat. I tried to change the tire only to find out i had a flat spare as well! This was at 6 o'clock on a Saturday evening and I had nobody to call to help me. So i decided to call Alex at rent a tire To see if there was anything he could do to help me since I bought the tires there. Alex went above and beyond the call of duty and he had already closed for the day but was still willing to help me out! He even drove to where i was located, took my flat to a shop to get the new tire put on the wheel and then he returned and put the new tire on. If that isnt 5 star customer service, then I don't know what 5 star customer service is! I am so impressed by Alex and his customer service and management skills! Hes a superstar and deserves to be recognized! read more

One day I was in the mood to give my SUV a little face lift, a new and better look and feel.... I went to 3 different places but the 4th place I went to was by far the best and from now on will be my first go to place! The 1st person I spoke to was Danny, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything i needed and wanted. Then when I came back to ask about some tire pressure light, Eric Cardenas who is normally working at the Lubbock location was super sweet and helpful and made sure to take care of everything for me! I love this place and the employees, Im so glad they are located so close to me! read more

Extremely friendly and quality customer service. Nice, cool waiting area for the short amount of time I had to wait. I am definitely coming back here for other services for my car!!! read more

I am very pleased with the service that was provided to me. There was a nice gentleman by the name of Alex was so professional and went over and beyond to make sure I was taking care of. I went to get the locks taking off my rims that none of the tire shops could do. He found the right socket to take my locks off so I could put my rims on and he also made sure the rims were the right size for my car. I was also recommended if I needed any work done on my foreign than the place next door does get service. So yah I will definitely be going there for any type of service I will be needing. Thank you Alex for your great customer service and friendly environment read more

Great deals great customer service. I'll be back again soon for a new set of rims. Ask for there payment plan I'll recommend this place for a clean set of rims !!! read more

The actual quality of rims and tires these guys offer is above par. The manager is cool as hell and he is definitely about making the customer happy. I went in this place expecting to pay a lot less per week than I ended up paying for. As a salesman, your duty should be to thoroughly explain what your customer is buying. With that being said I am being charged double the amount I was originally told. The price on the paper is NOT what you'll be paying! Don't make the mistake I did. Read between the lines! When a man's handshake is limp, don't do business with him. I'm now paying around the same price for some rims and tires as my rent. I would recommend this place for people who have cash up front...but if you're making payments for this stuff you're looking at about $4,800 for a set of rims and tires that might not even last you a year. read more
