They got my car finished before the time they advised me and when Matthew saw me leaving he checked in that I was happy with everything from today. What can typically be a mundane way to spend a weekend day, the discount tires team. I would definitely recommend getting 'The Certificate' as a new tire cost me $12.99 and that covers me for another new tire incase I get a tear in this one.

This is typically a manufacturer warranty issue. but Manny at this location gave us a generous credit for the worn tread toward new tires. This store was a bit out of our way, so we called our regular Discount Tire store to see if they could match it, but they wouldn't even consider it. Manny saved us several hundred dollars towards the high end tires we wanted and got our business for helping us out. Additionally, we were in and out of there with 4 new tires in about 40 minutes. I refer everyone I know here and I also love the location being that there's a restaurant next door to eat at while your vehicle is getting serviced (ask for Anthony cause he's also a rockstar). I've recently decided to buy a new car and they were flexible on when I could come by to do an inspection report. They didn't BS me about what was wrong with the car (was on point as they were the things I was also thinking/noticed). Again, I absolutely trust their honest inputs and valuations and will continue to not only bring my business to them, and will continue to refer as many people as I can! One needed front windshield tint removed and the other needed TPMS sensors installed. Both times they got me in without an appointment and did the job at a price that's the same or cheaper than the place I was going to before. They have a little waiting room with snacks and drinks as well and everybody has been super nice to me there. I will be bringing all of my cars there for anything that needs to be done, and I will eventually get tint done there on one of my cars as well.

It's a small place but seems quite equipped to manage a lot of car issues, and the gentleman who did my inspection that day (Charlie) was the sole person doing them, so he was cranking through a list of folks. They put your name on the clipboard when you arrive and just go straight down that list. I'd called beforehand to confirm their hours and theyd advised to come early so I came around 9a or so. I think the wait was about 15-20 mins? Really wasn't bad, I just fiddled with my phone and sat in my car. The actual inspection was also pretty fast, like 10 mins or maybe even a bit less. I appreciated the efficiency. Of note they do charge a 3% credit card fee. A lot of places do that nowadays, but that was really the only "surprise." They also offer a basic inspection ($12, basics to renew car reg) or a more thorough one for $18 where they check your wipers and lights etc.

I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.

I was greeted promptly by Monica and Robert who talked to me about a trade for my tires because the tires I have on my truck are too big and I wanted the correct size. I told them my truck rocks when I get up to speeds above 65mph. I asked if they could go for a ride with me to see what I was talking about, and Robert volunteered to ride with me. After experiencing the problem, he told me it wasn't the tires it was the shocks. when we got back to the tire station he put my truck up on the lift and verified with the mechanic that the shocks were bad, and offered to put new ones on for me for $100 if I purchased the parts. They gave me a ride to the parts store where I purchased the parts for $85 and replaced the shocks while I paid. I did not end up buying tires, and they do not typically do mechanical work, but didn't want me to leave in an unsafe vehicle. I feel I got a fair deal and they didn't try to take advantage of me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I went alone without my husband, having another woman there, Monica, was comforting to me in a garage full of men. The only reason I didn't get the tires too, was because when my husband called they said they would give us $80 for each tire on trade and when I got there they only offered $25 which I understood, because the tires weren't in the condition my husband had represented them, although, if they had met us half way, like $40 per tire we might have made the deal. But overall, I was impressed and thankful for the help I got and I will go back to get my tires when I have the extra money to do so. Thank you Monica and Robert. read more

These guys are seriously the best deal in town. THEY ARE QUICK, FRIENDLY, AND AN AWESOME GROUP OF PEOPLE!:) My husband does not have what one would call "normal" tires. They are "fancy" low profile tires which we were quoted anywhere from 175-250 per tire (with NO warranty) elsewhere here in Austin. We had already handed our keys in to ________ (I will leave the name unknown). As we got back into my car, I decided to call up Tires To You. LEGIT! We were quoted $109 (out the door $135) per tire... which INCLUDED "mounting". OH, AND A 30,000 MILE WARRANTY when no where else was offering a warranty with these so called "special" tires. I ran back into the place that had his keys and awkwardly asked for them back. We drove straight to Tires To You from NW Austin, and within an hour (we arrived at 4:15 and they were closing at 6 pm on a Saturday), we had four brand new tires on with warranty for $535! We also were able to keep the other tires! HANDS DOWN....#1 PLACE FOR BRAND NEW TIRES IN AUSTIN AT THE LOWEST PRICE POSSIBLE! Thank you Eddie and New York!!! We love you both! Since I bought tires from them I have had to go back to them 4 times. In total I have spent well over $1000 and over 9 hours. They don't care for your safety or well being. They only care for the money that will be going into their pockets. We bought tires from them; 1- we needed them 2- our truck was vibrating a lot when driving. We went to them because we were recommended to them. But now with all that has happened, please don't waste your money or time with them. We had to spend more money to get your truck checked out because the vibration didn't change. Just to have that mechanic tell us that everything regarding our truck was fine , but that the tires were not. The tires were not even balancing right. So now we are back to them to so how they can help us...yeah no luck. Just to have the manager look me in the eye and tell me he can't give me a guarantee because the tires look fine. Now we are stuck with tires that make our truck not run right, having spent over $1000 and maybe having to spend more money on buying new tires from another dealer that is able and willing to gives us a guarantee. I know the reviews are moxed on here, but I had a generally good experience here. I wanted to downsize the tires on my hummer. My old tires were and almost new condition. I called ahead of time to get a ball park figure of what I could get for them, and to make sure they had the tires in stock I had seen on craigslist. When I got to the store, which is a little shabby, ok alot shabby, the owner took a look at my tires and actually offered me more for them than originally quoted. I was told it would only take 45 minutes, but it took longer. (I would like to note that even discount tire has never gotten me out in the time they told me) In the end though I got everything I wanted and for much cheaper than what I was quoted over the phone by discount. Plus they bought my old tires, which discount won't do. My advice is use them, but dont go there paying for beer quality service and expect a champagne experience. read more

The events leading me to Tires to you were very stressful, my car was vandalized and two tires were slashed. As you can imagine I was very upset to say the least. We called Tires to You and spoke with Toby over the phone. He was very helpful and quoted a great price on 2 used tiresso we decided to go check them out. Once we arrived the gentleman who was helping us (his name sadly slips my mind) was extremely knowledgeable & committed to getting us the best used tires in our price range. He took the time to check all my tires as they all had small slits that posed a potential hazard. After speaking with my insurance company we decided to get brand new tires since the insurance was paying for it but I would absolutely reccommend them to anyone looking for a great price on a used tire or even on a brand new set of tires. We called the shop and spoke to Jason "The New Yorker" about a set of tires for our truck. He didn't have the exact size that we wanted, but had a set that was close. We drove down from Hutto to the shop. He looked at the tires and wheels we had for trade in along with the tires that we were trying to exchange that were on the truck. He gave us a great deal towards a new set. Jason initially thought he would not be able to get a set of tires for us until the next day, but after he called around he was able to find a set close. He sent someone from the shop to retrieve the tires in a timely manner and within 2hrs after arriving, we were driving out of the shop with a new set of tires. Jason kept us updated on everything thing they were doing during our time there, and had excellent customer service. We highly recommend talking to Jason about your next tire purchase. read more

Lupe helped me I called in before I went to get the tires, they had them in stock and on sale. They had the cheapest price in town and with a warranty. Okay so I called couldn't make it the same day so I let Lupe know to put them aside for me I'll be there tomorrow at 10. I got there looked for Lupe and in less than 10 min they already had my car lifted trying to take the lug nuts off. Only to find out that when the dealer put the aftermarket wheels on they also put the wrong lug nuts in so it took Lupe and his team 3 hours to get them off nevertheless they did not say they would or could not do it. Witch I was glad to hear. So I dropped my car off came back later loved the way the tires looked. I paid promptly. And was on the road my ride was so smooth I love the new tires. Today at work a fellow employee referred me to Tires To You as an option for me in my urgent situation to get my tires changed as I need to go out of town for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I called and spoke with Lupe Garcia who quoted me an "Out the Door" price that was $50 cheaper than I had found anywhere else. I told them I would consider it and waited a few hours till my lunch break. I ran down south from north Austin and had my tires changed and walked out the door 20 min later with the same exact "Out the Door" price Lupe had quoted me! He even took the time to show me how to take the pressure of my tires with the complimentary tire pressure gauge he gave me. Being tight on funds, I am really grateful that I found Tires to You. Found Tires To You on Craigslist a few weeks before actually calling and getting a price quote. I had absolutely no issues with locating the establishment, as the man who took my call clearly stated it was "at the corner of Terry O Ln after turning off of St Elmo". Besides that, the giant BF Goodrich banner on the side of the building should be a fairly obvious indicator for the otherwise oblivious. I was charged exactly the price quoted to me over the phone. I only needed 3 new tires and wasn't pestered by some sales person that always seems to know better than I do what I need. My van was finished in about 20 minutes and Monica was the epitome of kindness and professionalism. I was born and raised in Austin and Tires To You is the embodiment of local owned and operated. Short, quick and to the point... I took a turn too quickly in my Chevy City Express and hit the curb with my front passenger side tire. I had it towed to Tires To You because I bent the wheel badly and there was a lot of resistance when I tried driving it. Steve (one of the managers I believe) gave me multiple phone calls throughout their assessment to keep me informed. What I thought was going to be a pricey fix ended up only being less than $60. They went out of their way to get me a used wheel that helped lower the price of the fix. Steve was very communicative, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and spoke with great detail to help me understand all they did. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. I personally dealt with "New York" and he was extremely professional and a man of his word. My lug nut on one of my tires was stripped and I was really worried it wouldn't come off. New York promised they'd get it off and he followed through. I've gotten tires here before and they honored their warranty and gave me new lug nuts and a tire free of charge. Tires to you really went out of their way and even came to my house just to try and help me out. Once we got the truck back to the shop the service techs got me in and out in under fifteen minutes! I was recently on a trip visiting my parents in Austin Texas. They are elderly and don't know much about tires or vehicles. Their tires were old and dry rotted so I decided to Google some shops in town. I Came across Tires to You here in south Austin on the Internet and decided to stop bye. Went in about two weeks ago to replace my tire, and upon inspection of my vehicle, the salesperson noticed I needed an alignment as well as a new battery. I was not prepared to handle all the issues my car was dealing with, but Adam was helpful and honest about the process. He was polite and answered all my questions/ concerns. The staff seems to be knowledgeable about their work and I did not feel pressured. The parts and labor were fairly affordable, I did not spend too much, even if I wasn't prepared to fix 3 issues. What can i say about this place, immediately off the bat great service, very friendly, welling to help you find what you need and on the budget. I was on my way to Dallas needing a front right tire. After 15 min looking and deciding the tire will be my best choice and will last another year for $40 total. As he was putting the spare back in my back sit. He took a look at my flat that i thought i messed up, but turns out it was only a flat that need air. They help me put back my flat also air it up for me. My experience was GREAT! If anyone need to replace their tires I recommend this place. I will be recommending it to all of my co-workers, family and friends. I believe I worked with Kurt Grace. He was able to give me an irrestistable deal, and the staff are awesome salesman/workers and professional. Not only that but the service was super fast, and definitely the CHEAPEST around my area. CAUTION!! this company will let you spend tons of money on a full set of wheels and tires even if they don't fit right. They will take advantage of someone who has little knowledge of wheels and even when thy don't fit right they will send you on your way. 1700 dollars on wheels and tires they should be perfect. I can't even have passengers in my car without them rubbing my fenders. They will ignore any attempt to contact them and leave you high and dry with a set that will damage your vehicle. Poor, poor customer service!! Really disappointed in these guts they seemed really nice read more

Amazing!!!! Wonderful service and staff. Tires To You is one of the best tire/repair shop I have ever been to. Everyone was so courteous and easy to work with. I will def tell my friends and family about this place. Very clean, ventilated, and convenient location. Special thank you to Ezequiel for being so helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. I was in Austin to attend a bridal shower and when I got in my car to drive home I noticed I had a flat. It was 5:15 and I called to see if they could fix my tire and was told they didn't do full service repairs after 5:00. By now I'm crying. The sweet man on the phone texted me the location of another tire repair shop and said, "It gonna be alright." I don't know who you are, but thank you for your kind words and reassurance. Been dealing with them for a few years now, since old location off of Terry O. And YES Jason(New York) was the absolute best! Hear he's gone back to trauma-nursing? Bet he could run an ER! Best prices, great service, great business model, and now spreading. Save yourself a ton of money on a new set of tires, and great deals on used tires also. The Also, not a big deal, but they don't have a waiting area, so you have to sit out in the hot sun while the work was being finished (major downside in austin summer). Overall: Going here was a mistake. They've gotten good reviews in the past for being a solid budget used tire place, but something must have changed in recent years.. Not a terrible place, but nothing to write home about. If you want a great deal/experience -- i had great luck with Austin Tireman a few months back. Very up front about prices, honest, very affordable, good quality, excellent service, no bs experience, you will leave feeling good, and they have a waiting area. I talked with Alex on the phone who walked me through finding my tire size and type, and answered all my questions and multiple calls (this was the first flat tire I've ever had in my life). Finally made it up to the shop and got fitted with two new tires, installed, for an *amazingly* great price, did a visual inspection on my back tires just to be sure they were okay, and even fixed my friend's tire after mine, after a nail was found in his own tire. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient. I was expecting to be upsold on the price when I got there (as is the norm these days) and was incredibly happy when it came time to pay the bill and the price was exactly what he told me it would be - this place has earned my trust. I was a long-time Discount Tire customer but Alex and his family now have my business.
