Quick, professional and so friendly! Made my appointment online, showed up at the designated time, and received an estimate that it would take 45 minutes. 20 minutes later, a tech gave me an update to let me know it would be only a few more minutes. I'm blown away that they were quicker than anticipated and went the extra step to update me. I pity the fool that uses any other shop than this one! read more

I had a great experience with Discount Tire. Well, one of the sales reps was a bit overbearing. He just made sure he greeted EVERY customer which I thought was interesting. But I proceeded to get my tires. However, when I went back in to ask a quick question he was waiting on others and had no time for me. I felt that was a little off putting. But, my tires were installed in record time and every (one) else was great! read more

Showed up in the last possible minute with my son's blown tire. We were praying for a miracle and these guys delivered. Despite their team closing shop as we pulled up, they checked the rim and then replaced the tire. All we had to do was pay for a new warranty. This company has always been my trusted source for new tires and the repair of any tire needs. I only wish I could find a mechanic with the same moral fortitude. read more

When a tire store saves the day. You can't really plan for the unexpected so when I got a flat tire yesterday called around, drove to a couple of places( no liking the feeling ) discount tires told me " come down we have the size tire you need . They were super busy but manage to get my car done in over an hour. no hassle a solid fair pricing and my car ready to go ! Nothing fancy, just plain effectiveness , get it done mentality, allowing to have my car ready to go to work the next day! No wonder they are packed , these guys deliver !!!!! read more

I could not have had a better experience! All of the workers were so nice, even though it was very busy! Dylan was holding it down in the front office making sure everyone was taken care of and knew how long their car would take. read more

Remarkable customer service. We sent an employee to get her tire replaced, and they gifted her another front tire because she is a caregiver and drives clients. They demonstrated compassion, professionalism and care for our employee. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will always use this location, on Ben White Blvd in Austin. read more

I was driving to my destination on 71 when I noticed my tire pressure light was on. I'd bought my tires at Discount Tire on Research Blvd. So I pulled into the Hwy. 71 location. Andres was very friendly and professional. The staff were able to put air in the tire, but I have to go to my original Discount spot as they weren't able to get the lug nut off (later I went & that Discount Tire was also great, but I had to get a referral to Rush Automotive, who are also awesome.) It was busy but all of the staff were attentive and patience with the people who came in. read more

called ahead and asked if they were able to help, was told yeas and checked in at front. After waiting for over 30 min , they would not fix the tire we needed the bead seeded on. said the tread level was at a 4 and 2 is the cut off for flat repair. please tell me how this adds up. they didn't even ask if we wanted to buy new tires which we were already considering. not helpful at all maybe just too late in the day 5pm and closed at 6pm and they wanted to go home‍ great thing Firestone was right beside them, they fixed the flat in less than a 10 min. Firestone for the win read more

They treated me really well. I came in to patch a tired and it took about 45 mins to complete (on a busy day). The service was free I am really grateful for that about them. It makes me want to buy all my tires from them because they really do take care of their customers. read more

I stopped in because my air pressure alert came up and wanted the tire checked, it was close to closing but I didn't want to risk being stuck on my long drive home. The guy running the air pressure found the nail and despite being close to closing they got my tire patched. Everyone was extremely nice! I normally go to the BeeCave location because they are closer to home, but now I have a secondary location if needed. I highly recommend this location! read more

I stopped in for air and the guy was so slow rude and left to make an appointment for some one before giving me air. The air filler should stay at his station. I am up for air and have now waited over 10min for him to come back. Last time Tire Man is cheaper better nicer faster. read more

Once again, vibes immaculate. Love it so much that I had to come back this week and then again the next day day with ANOTHER flat tire. The curbs are vicious nowadays read more

Henry & Angel were so lovely and made my day! Needing new tires all of a sudden because of a screw in the tire is a little stressful but they made it all so easy and took good care of me and my car. I truly appreciate this discount tire. Always so lovely. Thank you! read more

These guys were totally awesome and repaired my tire for free and within an hour on a busy day.

Had tire repair they had good professional and friendly service. Hats off to Stacy who was extremely knowledgeable to my concerns and needs. Discount tire is fortunate to have a representative like Stacy. He is genuinely a good person and employee. read more

The response of Gerry at Discount Tire on Ben White was, in fact, a nonresponse because it directed me to an online form that only prolonged, not solve, the problem of their poor service. This online approach is spun as a way of getting things started when I already had been there to discuss new tires and afterwards discussed it over the phone after they called me. And my complaint was stated clearly in my Yelp review. There is no need for more deliberation. Sell tires and be honest, as simple as that. read more

amazing, fast, reliable, outstanding customer service! They give you the best service and equipment for your buck. Definitely worth going here than anywhere else. Great and honest communication. read more

I shouldn't speak for everyone, but in my experience, I know nothing about vehicles and maintenance, especially regarding tires. However, the staff here was accommodating, honest, and informative regarding replacing a tire I had that unfortunately got a nail smack in the middle. Kevin, the sales rep who assisted me, took the time to explain everything regarding my tire issue and provide even more information on all tires in case this happens again with any other tires in the future. Thanks so much, Kevin and Antonio for the friendly service and highly professional support you provided me on what is usually a very confusing topic. I will definitely be returning! read more

Discount Tire - Parking lot - Tires Near Me - Austin, Texas

My daughter went in for a damaged rim, the 2 front tires where a 4/32, rear at 7/32. The sales rep clearly taking advantage of a woman by themselves. Sold her 4 tires and 2 rims, to create a full-size spare. He also added the roadside certificate without asking. My daughter had asked him not to change the rear tires, his response was we already pulled it in the bay, when she pointed out the tire have not been touched, he ignored her and walked away. Once completed she had to request to see a receipt and that is when she discovered the certificate charge, she had them credit her card and remove that. I always thought of Discount Tire as a reputable shop, not in Austin. read more

Angel was the best help! He kept me calm in a stressful situation (Tire blowout...all 4 bad tires). Effectively explained the problem and solution. Provided me with the most effective solution within my budget. 5 star customer service! read more

Great service. We came in to change the tires of our vehicle. The service was fast and Manny was very professional and helpful.

I called this location to see if I could come in they said yes. We came in it was busy was expecting to wait an hour -two hours max. They closed locked the doors we watched other customers that came way after us come and go we were the last ones out of the building it took them 3 hours to change 2 tires. We have multiple vehicles and always go to discount tire they are usually fast and friendly not this location. If you come here hopefully you won't have to wait as long read more

Im a loyal discount tire customer already, but I have to say, this location impressed me just at the air check. Their lobby is currently under construction but are open and have tents outside for you to wait under the shade. Usually when I have my tire pressure checked it's in and out they don't concern themselves with anything else, but here, while I'm waiting in line they do tread depth and safety checks on my tires - I've never had that done for just an air check. Makes me feel 1000x better being on the road and I know where I stand if I need new tires or not. Elton the one coordinating the line was very courteous, respectful, and professional, his tone was something I could really appreciate while he did the safety checks. Sean was also great and knowledgeable in what psi I needed because in a past experience at another location I had to argue that 35 all the way around for my tires wasn't acceptable, but Sean knew exactly what was needed. read more

Jason R was incredibly helpful and patient in helping me replace my tires. He explained everything super well and genuinely made it feel like he cared about me as a customer. Driving along the highways and navigating through small towns, it is not unusual to have an issue with the tires on your car. Potholes. Construction. Nails. So, we found ourselves on NYE in need of what we thought was just a detour for air in the tires. Stopped at a gas station. Filled some air. Pressures looked good, so back on our way. Until...we stopped again, as the pressure kept creeping down and realized that we had a nail in our tire. It was early-ish. 4:15. Found an NTB (where we had bought our tires last year) 2 miles away. Called. No luck. Closing early at 5 to celebrate NYE. Same story at 2 more NTB locations. Looked again. Discount Tires 4 miles away. Come on in they said. No wait. Saw the nail. Fixed the tire. 25 minutes in and out. Thank you for a great last minute walk-in appointment on NYE. read more

Discount Tire - An unexpected detour - Tires Near Me - Austin, Texas

Service requested was completed in that my tires ordered were placed on vehicle in timely manner. Thorough they damaged my fender liner. Take it back because the torn fender is now rubbing against my brand new tires and they all look at me like I'm crazy denying having done it. One did help me pull into the bay to remove the tire to take a look and when I showed them continued to deny it and attempted to place the blame saying someone else must've been under my car working on it. Even though they were the very last ones there and the car was not making that sound before. I purchase another fender liner to replace the one they tore and attempted to come back to just get help putting on and they can do nothing but rush me out of the bay saying have others waiting..how about help fix what is messed up first THEN tackle another project. The two stars are purely for the fact that the original service while flawed was completed the subtraction of stars was due to the pure BS afterwards. read more

Impeccable customer service, and efficient on a flat tire repair! From the 800 no rep to the store rep Manny, the service was so appreciated, and such a difference from NTB nearby. I finally got fed up with being given the wrong size for my hub rings. They literally sold me the tires and it literally says the size of the hub on their site. My husband ordered tires on line and made an appointment for me to take my car in. I got there early, and while in line to check in, Manny presumed who I was and asked my name. He said they were ready for my appointment and I was taken out of line and helped immediately by Stacy who couldn't have been better in any way. He noticed that my hubby had ordered the wrong back tires. He called my husband and they corrected the choice before work began, and we got the right tires because of Stacy's attention. They finished the installation sooner than expected and brought my car, running, to the front doors. I work in retail myself, so I'm keenly aware of good and bad service. This was a great experience from professionals. This was our third time to use this business, and we highly recommend them. read more

Worst service I've ever had. Brought my van in with a flat also wanted to get the spare replaced. They didn't bother with the spare because they couldn't get it off, decided to replace another tire randomly instead. I didn't need the other tire so had to wait around while they took it off. Don't recommend this place at all. read more
