Swapped our tire over to our spare after a blow out on the toll road. Excellent service and very nice people. Highly recommend.

After we had a tire blow on the toll road we found this shop. They changed our tire over to our spare. Very nice people and highly recommend!! Wish we had more money for a tip but the guys here are excellent!

Sunday emergency. One of my tires had a nail. Called all the big dogs (Firestone, Pep Boys) and all had 3-4 hour wait. Decided to try Leal's Tire. Local mom and pop shop. Super friendly people and fixed my tire on a 2022 Tesla Model Y. Give these guys a chance. I was in and out within 20 mins tops. Very reasonable prices as well.

Proof that I paid an absurd price for two tires that didn't even last me two months!! Avoid at all cost.

Went to leals tire shop and spend about 300+ dollars on "practically new tires" today October 17th only two months later I'm needing new tires because the tires they sold me ain't shit. They took advantage of the fact that I'm a girl and don't know anything about tires. Please do yourself a favor and do not go there. Discount tires. Atleast you will get a warranty and some honesty. You'll end up paying in the end. Do not go to these con artist. Second bad experience for me. First time they were racist.

I went because I had a flat tire. On a Sunday I knew my options would be limited with lots of tire shops closed. I tried my luck at Leal's and was very pleased. My tire was ruined so I opted for a used tire. The gentleman checked the tire he was giving me TWICE and then installed it to my rim, then to my car. Used tires start at $70+ and new tires $120+. I was out within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place if you have any tire issues. Even with how hot it is they were still wearing masks. Great place 5 stars for sure.

Great tire shop! I had a nail in my tire and showed up and left like 10 minutes later with a fixed tire for a very reasonable price.

Thankfully, help arrived before I had time to spiral into Googling "How to survive permanently stranded in your driveway." The roadside assistance technician showed up calm, professional, and completely unfazed by my dramatic retelling of events. Within minutes, they diagnosed the issue, got things sorted out, and brought my car back to life like some kind of automotive wizard. What could have turned into a full‑blown inconvenience (or emotional breakdown) ended up being quick and painless. No lectures, no eye‑rolling...just efficient help and a running vehicle again. The car was not tired, but the battery was a bit weak. While roadside service was free through our insurance plan, we had to pay for battery, which was reasonably priced. Thanks to roadside assistance, my car is no longer staging protests, and I can once again go about my day pretending this never happened. Highly recommend Alpha Roadside Services and Battery... especially if your car enjoys surprise rebellion.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for this company's professionalism, lightning-fast…read moreresponse, and extremely reasonable pricing. They operate 24/7, and unbelievably, they did not charge extra for an after-hours emergency call, nor was there any type of travel fee. This alone speaks volumes about their integrity and customer care. I had a blowout in my kid's Tesla on a Friday night around 9:30 PM, and within 45 minutes of calling, they were already on-site changing the damaged tire. I assumed they would put a slightly used tire on, however it was a brand new tire. The total cost for their services was less than what I would have paid at a tire shop just to purchase one tire, which is incredible given the convenience and speed. The only reason I went back to discount tire today to use the road hazard warranty that I had purched when replacing these tires last month was purely for my OCD ways and wanting my set of 4 tires to match. The two technicians who arrived were extremely polite, professional, and understanding, knowing how eager we were to get safely back on the road. The payment process was also seamless -- they accepted Zelle, making it one of the easiest parts of an already smooth experience. Huge thanks to David and his coworker for their outstanding service and for getting us back on the road so quickly. I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs tire service. Exceptional experience from start to finish!!!

About a month ago, I visited Orange Tire to replace all four tires. At that time, I was very…read moresatisfied with the service and even left a 5-star review. However, my experience completely changed afterward. Today, I needed to replace my brake pads and attempted to remove the wheels myself. I was unable to loosen the lug nuts because they had been tightened extremely hard during my previous visit. While trying to remove them, I broke one of the wheel studs due to the excessive force required. I stopped immediately and went back to Orange Tire to address the issue. I explained that I had been there a month ago and that their team had overtightened the lug nuts to the point where I couldn't remove them. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff initially tried to blame rust. I can understand one stuck lug nut -- but not three out of five on a single wheel. That's not normal and clearly indicates improper torque. The manager spent about 15-20 minutes on the phone (possibly with the owner), and eventually told me that I would need to purchase new parts myself, bring them in, and they would replace them for free. I offered a simple and reasonable solution -- just reimburse the cost so I could handle the repair myself and not waste additional time. However, the owner responded in a dismissive and unfriendly manner, refusing any refund and insisting I follow their process. This situation shows a lack of accountability and poor customer service. What started as a great experience turned into a very disappointing one. Be careful -- over-tightened lug nuts can cause serious damage and additional expenses.

It's a small place but seems quite equipped to manage a lot of car issues, and the gentleman who did my inspection that day (Charlie) was the sole person doing them, so he was cranking through a list of folks. They put your name on the clipboard when you arrive and just go straight down that list. I'd called beforehand to confirm their hours and theyd advised to come early so I came around 9a or so. I think the wait was about 15-20 mins? Really wasn't bad, I just fiddled with my phone and sat in my car. The actual inspection was also pretty fast, like 10 mins or maybe even a bit less. I appreciated the efficiency. Of note they do charge a 3% credit card fee. A lot of places do that nowadays, but that was really the only "surprise." They also offer a basic inspection ($12, basics to renew car reg) or a more thorough one for $18 where they check your wipers and lights etc.

Every once in a while, Austin reminds you why you fell in love with it in the first place--and…read moresurprisingly, this time it happened during an oil change. Let's be real: getting your oil changed usually ranks somewhere between "waiting at the DMV" and "realizing you forgot your charger at home." But Lube Pit Stop on South Lamar managed to turn it into the best oil change experience I've ever had in this city. And I don't say that lightly. From the moment I pulled in, the vibe was pure old-school Austin--friendly, unpretentious, and refreshingly human. No corporate script. No forced smiles. Just genuinely kind, courteous folks who seem to actually care about the people driving through their bays. Here's what really stood out: No upselling. None. Zero. Zilch. No "while we're at it..." scare tactics. No mystery fluids that suddenly must be replaced. Just honest work, clearly explained. Quick and efficient. I barely had time to scroll Yelp before they were done. In and out without feeling rushed or overlooked--an impressive balance. Kindness across the board. The entire team was polite, professional, and approachable in a way that feels increasingly rare. It wasn't flashy--it was sincere. And here's the kicker: when I drove away, I felt good. No second-guessing. No lingering "did I just get taken?" anxiety. Just the calm confidence that comes from dealing with people who do their job well and don't try to squeeze every extra dollar out of you. They also do state inspections, which is officially the cherry on top. One stop, no nonsense, handled by people you trust? That's a win in Austin traffic math. This is the kind of local business you root for. The kind you tell your friends about. The kind that quietly becomes your place without you even realizing it. Lube Pit Stop is officially who I'll be using from now on--and honestly, I hope they never change a thing. Highly recommend. Old Austin energy. Solid service. Zero BS.
