(I'm tired of putting money into my beater).. unfortunately, my tire size is a rarity, so I had to go new. Life savers. I drove to Austin from Houston late Thursday night. Had a busy Friday. I'm 10 miles from my apartment when the tire light comes on at 2am. Terrible. I went to bed, got up the next day, filled my tire with a bicycle pump and drove it to Cameron's. They patched me very quickly. I even did a work phone call on premises while I waited. I got a flat tire this evening during rush hour traffic, and looked up the nearest tire shop. It was Cameron's Tire Shop. I drove there slowly on my flat. They were closing right as I pulled up, but the two gentlemen working stayed for 5-10 extra minutes and put my spare on for me. It would have taken me ten times as long to do it myself. They stole my rim cap off my 2020 Nissan Rouge Sport. I stopped here while in Austin to get a plug done on my front right tire. Low and behold when I got back to Houston to visit the Nissan dealership, the cap was missing. I called and spoke to the owner (Earnest) who claims he checked the cameras and knows for a fact that he did not remove it, but offers to replace it (because he did remove it) I literally just bought this car in October of 2020 and this will be the first time having problems with the tires therefore, the factory rim and hubcaps were all there when I arrived ‍. One thing is certain. When you take the Lugnuts off of the tire, the hubcap can slide off easily. But he is lying about either stealing it or just simply forgetting to put it back on. Considering this is what he does for a living, my guess is that it was intentional. Now, when I call he is trying to put the work off on to me by saying I need to look up the hub cap number as if Nissan puts a different hub cap on every 2020 Nissan Rouge Sport. I told him to Google it and return my stuff by mail. He insists that I have to send him a picture of it. So pictures are posted sir. You can never trust these small auto repair or tire shops in small towns. They are always trying to get over, especially on women. read more

I called in today to see if I could get a patch done on my tire and I was told they could do it and I got a price estimate. I was able to get there 15 minutes later with air quickly leaking out of my tire but I was told they were not doing patches. Maybe the person who answered the phone had bad info but better communication would have saved me the trip read more

Most people probably drive by this place and don't think to stop but I'm so glad i did! I feel like I've been tricked into buying new tires every time I've been at a chain tire shop by myself without a man after coming here and learning that just because you are losing air, you don't need a new tire. I parked, Floyd came right out to greet me and filled all my tires up first. Took the tire off that had something wrong with it and immediately found a nail. Floyd plugged it and had me on my way within 10-15 minutes. My tire was less than a year old and I know that at any box store they would have told me the wheel was done due to where the nail was. He wasn't trying to screw me over by making me buy things that I don't need to just because I look like I don't know anything about cars, I felt super comfortable the whole time and really appreciate his honesty. You wouldn't think it'd be hard to get a tire patched, but many of the well-known and popular tires shops on Yelp are absolutely slammed, especially in the summer months. A couple that are close by me were too busy to help me on three separate days when I checked. When your tire is slow leaking you can get away with putting it off for a while, but the peace of mind knowing that your tire pressure indicator won't come on in the middle of a drive is worth it. I've had my tires patched at Cameron's Tire Shop three separate times. In each case, from the time I pulled up to the time I drove away with a patched tire took less than 20 minutes. This last time I was helped by Floyd who was friendly, professional, and quick. Patch cost $25. Next time I pick up a screw, I'm gonna stop checking the other places and just go straight here. read more

The guy that fixed my tire gave me a price to fix my tire and once he removed the tire the price went up from 30 to 40 dls. I told him that wasn't the price he gave me before he removed the tire, he got mad and he said he didn't want to talk to me no more, he still fixed the tire and ended up changing me the 30 dls but thats not a way to treat a customer. I live around the neighborhood and me and family always fixed our tires there but not anymore! So unprofessional!! read more

I had screw in my front tire the previous night. Went to Firestone and got some fluff about needing to replace the tire. And not just the tire with the screw, but all my tires. Apparently small SUV tires have treads that can separate off the tire after the tire ages beyond 6 years. I gotta give it to that kid, he was pretty intense with his BS. Total quote: $1000+ I held off and looked for another place. Got information on Cameron's Tire shop from the good guys at goodyear (they were booked out). I show up, and Floyd took care of me. He looked at the tire and said I just need a plug. In about 20 mins floyd was able to plug the tire, check for any more leaks, mount it, place the donut back in and sent me off. The cost $20.
