No clue if these guys are Faris Tires or Hercules Tires but these guys are awesome. I have a tire shop I use by my house but I was helping a buddy out and this was the closest non-chain tire shop I could find to the Domain. They replaced 2 tires for me at a very reasonable cost, took credit card, and had an indoor waiting room. I wish my shop had that! Snacks and drinks for sale, too. So I called Firestone Dirext and had them to my house to fix a tire it needed a patch. They came out and tried to upsell me on several services and then only to tell me they couldn't fix my tire and charged me 50 bucks. I asked them to put a temp patch on the best they could and they said no we put the mail back in. Still charged me. So I drive over to HERCULES tire they immediately help me, tell me they can fix and they do in like 10 minutes for $25. This place is the real deal. I'll never deal with a company like Firestone Direct again, I'm coming to Hercules Tire! Thank you guys!!! read more

after traveling out of town, i found 2 nails in my back two tires and quickly searched for a tire shop to get it patched memorial day morning. i went to 2 diff shops and couldnt find help until i came across this shop. i gave them a call and they answered before they opened and was ready to help. had a chance to chat with the owner juan while i was waiting for work to be done and he was so kind and helpful with any questions i had. i could tell he goes the extra mile for his customers. great price, excellent service. i'll be coming back here for any future work and recommend you check them out! give them a call and ask for juan if youre unsure of services they provide. read more

I've been coming here for years but I'm questioning my last visit. I had a nail pulled and while the tire was in the shop, the tech comes out and tells me that my tire pressure monitor was bad and did I want to fix it for $60. I said no and when I go to pull out of the parking lot, I find that my TP dash light is on. It wasn't on before I got there and because of the placement of the nail, I doubt that it was anywhere near the TPM inside the tire to cause it damage. I smell a rat and won't be going back. I needed a riding mower tire repaired, and wanted to try a less corporate, more family-owned, local shop to do the work. I showed up, and was greeted by Humberto, who was an older-looking Hispanic man in a cowboy hat. I assume he was either part of the family, or maybe even the owner, as he was the oldest looking guy there. Probably about my age, 65! He took the flat, a rear tire & wheel from a John Deer lawn tractor, aired it up, and came back to me within a minute or two. He'd circled a cut in the sidewall, and indicates that it could not be repaired, or at least not plugged. I asked him what I owed him and he said to just come back when I got the new tire and get it mounted at their shop. I said I would & thanked him. I found & bought the tire I needed on Amazon and had it within 2-3 days. I took it back over to the shop with the wheel, and within about 15 minutes, Humberto had swapped the old tire for the new one, added the valve stem and pointed me to the cashier. It wss $10 for the dismount & remount, plus whatever the standard Texas Tire Disposal fee was, which was about $2 or 3. This is just a small operation, and they don't have an air conditioned waiting room or anything, just some benches outdoors in the shade. But I was thrilled with how rapidly they got me in & out, and at how affordable their service was. Fixing a flat is not Rocket Science, and so they don't charge as it it were! I'll be going back there whenever I need to have an odd tire, like a mower, wheelbarrow or garden wagon tire fixed. These guys were all business, polite, efficient and cheap. And neither time I was there did I have to wait forever to be waited on. Thanks, Again, Humberto! read more

Had a flat front tire about 2 weeks ago and didn't feel like dropping top dollar for all new tires... Looked up Austin City Limit Tires and was attracted by the local nature and low costs. I was not disappointed. Rolled in a little after they opened and found a place in their queue of parked cars. Within 30 mins I had two new front tires each at $50 a piece but because the gentleman at the counter was recommending I replace both the blown and nearly blown other front, he sold me both for $80. In, out, sound advice, good pricing, no nonsense. Austin City Limit Tires is where I will be recommending everyone I know to go for simple, cheap tire service. Very very pleasant to deal with. Brought in a un-mounted flat tire. Owner was quick to greet me, once he greeted me within 5 minutes had a used tire for my application. Total was 45.00 for a low profile 17in tire. Also included a 30 warranty on the tire and aired up all three others. They offer free beverages to all customers as well. I stopped by a month ago to get 2 tires replaced. Worst experience ever. There was this old guy there. I found out later his name was Steve and he is the owner. After attempting to flirt with me.. disgusting and disrespectful by the way.. he replaced my tires. He seemed drunk and out of it. I asked if someone else could work on my car, but he said no. I should have left right then, but I was on a tight schedule and late for a meeting. After the tires were FINALLY replaced.. I ended up having to go back 3 times because the tires kept going flat. Every time I had to return there, I was treated like I was a problem. I was told by old man Steve that he was tired of f*cking with me and that I must have hit a curb.. which I absolutely did not. I was sold crappy tires, then treated like it was my fault. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this ramshackle placed they call a business. I ended up going to Tires 2 You, and I got brand new tires for a little more than I paid for the used tires from Steve. At Tires 2 You, I was treated with respect and courtesy.. and no one flirted with me, which was the best part! Showed up Saturday morning 5 minutes before they opened . I was pulling a trailer that I was getting ready to haul to the Midwest part of the country. One of the tires had a nail and wanted to get it patched or replaced . There were 3 ppl in front and since I had a trailer I was willing to wait my turn seeing as I had a Larger vehicle . Old Man comes out (owner I assume) walks up to truck and does not say a word , I open my window and say " Hey I have a flat on the driver side of my trailer " His response " I don't want to F%#K with it " ! I said Im a previous customer and have been here many times for repairs on my trucks and trailers . Owners response " I don't feel like fu--ing with it your gonna cost me money , Im to busy! There were only 3 cars there and I could have waited or paid more to have my trailer serviced . I have 2 companys and we have multiple trucks and trailers and I was a loyal customer for the last 3-4 yrs . This company used to be called Faris tire service and they renamed it and from the Looks are trying to change the image ( good luck ) . I took my business else where and found Aguillar tie shop between Rundberg and Braker feeder road , I pull in next to there lot explain what needs fixing , They ask me to park on the end and in less than 15 minutes have the tire off and repaired . No moaning or cursing just hardworking dudes with great service , Farris (Austin City Limits ) should take note ! read more
