They will tell you honestly, in layman's terms, what is wrong with your car, why it needs to be fixed (and the repercussions if it's not), and breakdown the cost. They won't pressure you and try to add on "oh yeah, this doohickey gizmo also needs to be replaced at a cost of $2000". If there's something that can wait/isn't urgent they'll let you know that too. I went into Dave's today for some minor mechanical issues. Rather than wait a couple of hours for the repairs to get completed, Dave gave me a ride home. That was incredibly generous. Besides the minor work to my car, I also asked if I could get an oil change and new windshield wiper blades. If the mechanics are able to perform those tasks in a few hours, that would be great. If not, then I'll schedule an appointment for that. My point is that I have never in my years met really honest mechanics. They weren't trying to sell me services as many mechanics do. Their prices are reasonable, and the work performed is exceptional. I'm definitely recommending Dave's to all my friends. read more

i ABSOLUTELY would recommend this repair shop to anyone! I came in to get my AC fixed and they were so kind. I came to Dave's after being quoted a much higher price at another place for a brake job on my front wheels. Dave greeted me when I arrived and did everything he could to save me money. He went to get the parts himself and got my brakes done in less than an hour. The pricing was very honest, and they will not take advantage of you here if you don't know much about cars.
