So far have had a pretty positive experience with these guys. When I called initially to set up an appointment, phone was answered by the owner. He was super nice and helpful. He found a tech that could come out same day, as I had a newborn and a fairly troublesome ant problem. We ended up having a small miscommunication about the tech's arrival time, but he was really great in contacting me to fix it. Since the initial treatment, we've had one follow-up visit and no ants since. I signed up for the year long service and hope to continue being a happy customer! read more

Moved to Pflugerville from San Diego. Quickly realized pest control is a must in Texas. We signed up for the routine service treatments, they come every three months and keep our house bug free. Very once in a while a bug wonders in but by the time we find it, it's either dead or weak and dying, which makes it easier for you to catch and kill it. The technicians will also come over any time in between your scheduled treatments if you need them to. We just had a wasp situation in our chimney and the technician came and removed the wasps that flew into our house, and then gave us recommendations on how to get rid of them. Best part of the company is the customer service. Everyone I've come in contact with in person or over the phone have all been very kind and most of all, helpful! Their front-end staff has been consistently fast, professional and efficient with everything from scheduling and billing to problem resolution. They're always positive, upbeat, and quick to provide answers or solutions. Their techs are religiously on time; always courteous and professional. Time and again they've made adjustments in their schedules to accommodate my changing time constraints. Remarkably, none of this changed during the pandemic. As further testimony to their reliability, a tech had a mishap while working in my home early on in my dealings with them and damaged one of my instruments. The owner immediately communicated his intention to address the situation and arrange for compensation for repairs, and followed up throughout the process of getting estimates. I'm a little wary of how pet-friendly the pesticides the exterminators use really are, so it's been about 3 years since we've had regular service. Plus, my husband prefers to treat our house for pests himself, but the ants were getting out-of-hand on the exterior (and a few in the interior). After reviewing the recommendations here as well Nextdoor, I called both Stride and Hutto Pest Control. Stride was very responsive (can even text them), and I was able to get on the schedule within the next 48 hours. Within 24 hours after service the ants literally started pouring out of the walls (dead), and are still coming out 3 weeks later. They are a little pricier than some others that I received quotes, but if you decide to go to a quarterly service they will apply the difference to your next treatment. Fast forward 2 weeks later... I brought my mom home from the hospital and all of a sudden there were all these (lethargic) wasps in her bedroom and bathroom. She just had back surgery so could not get out of bed easily and did not want her to get stung, so figured it was worth a try to get someone out again, quickly. It was a Saturday, so knew the chances were slim, so I started calling every exterminator in the book. Yet again, they somehow managed to squeeze us in for a one-time treatment. He could not find a particular nest that could be the culprit, but did the best to get rid of all the visible exterior nests and treated the whole house. We did see 1 more wasp later that night, but nothing since. I don't know what they use, nor do I care, but it works! Well enough to convince both myself and my husband to go back to a quarterly service. And their customer service is off-the-charts. We highly recommended Stride Pest Control! read more

Michael was highly professional and spent a great deal of time educating me on termites and answering my questions about fire ants. In addition, Michael went over and above to inform me of the fence gate construction to reconstruct the fence post closest to the house thereby to mitigate the ability of termites to travel from wood to house. Moved into our new home and immediately knew we had a pretty bad Carpenter ant problem. After trying to deal with it ourselves for about a week, we decided to call Stride. They sent Michael out to deal with the problem. Michael did an awesome job identifying the type of ants and explaining to us how he planned on defeating these pests. He did an amazing job explaining how the different type of baits he used would help take care of our issues. 2 weeks have passed since then and we have seen a pretty big reduction in the amount of ants coming into our home. We received a phone call from stride a couple of days ago to check on how everything was going. This gave us a chance to explain some concerns we were having as we are still seeing ants in our kitchen, mostly at night. The lady on the phone explained that she could have Michael come out again for a follow up sooner than our scheduled 1 month interval. Michael came out today and was once again great. He explained the new bait he was using and why he decided to go with a different one today. He also took care of another ant pile in our backyard. I am so glad I decided to go with Stride for our pest control needs. We are definitely planning on staying with them for the rest of the time we own our home, which will most likely be our lifetime. read more

I had my first service this Saturday by David Foulk, and I couldn't be more pleased. I was astonished all the different ways they had to kill the creepy crawlies, or at least to make them want to run for the hills. I think David did five or six laps around my house with a different chemical each time. And all the while, answering questions about what he was applying, how it works, the specific pests targeted by each chemical, what I can expect. . . He was also as diligent inside the house, and was great with my little kiddos running around. Haven't seen any dead creatures yet but David educated me that it takes up to 2 weeks for the products to work. And, the real benefit happens six weeks later when the life cycle is broken with a second treatment. Will post a follow-up them about effectiveness. But, so far, so good! They resolved my bug problem when they came to my house. I had an ant and millipede problem when they came the first time. A few other bugs also came to visit my home as well. The first round they came solved most of the bug problems. The bug I did notice coming back though was the millipede. I'd sometimes kill 20 a day. With little ones I was getting tired of them and having my son try to play with them, so I called them back before my month warranty was up and they honored coming to take care of the problem. They ended up putting granules on the perimeter and have not seen any millipedes since. Haven't seen any ants either and I did not get the quarterly visits. I just did the one time and have not had problems for about 3 months. I will use them again though if anything comes up. read more

These guys are great! We've been seeing those disturbing giant roaches in the kitchen a couple times a week and, at our wit's end, we asked for a quote. They called us back quickly, on a Saturday no less, and were out in a couple days. Very professional, courteous, and helpful--in short, great customer service. We were pretty much ready to pay whatever it took to get rid of those little monsters, but Stride was so honest with us (the problem, praise the Lord, isn't some kind of infestation but increased activity outside) rather than charging us for services we didn't need. We recommend Stride 100%! I hope we don't need their services in the future, but if we do, we found a great company. read more
