The son came out to remove two oak trees from my front yard. They were located nearby, had the best quote, and could work on it soon. I was surprised it was only a two-man crew for removing two medium sized oak trees, but they did it quickly. I know very little about trees but the son was nice and patient enough to walk around and point out issues with other trees that I didn't know about. When the guy they contracted out to remove the tree stumps didn't come, the son personally came out and I really appreciated how responsible that was. This tree service company was hired to remove an oak tree at my house. They have absolutely no respect for the client's driveway and if they block it or make a mess in it. Upon arriving home, I was unable to park in my own driveway due to them setting up the woodchipper right at the entrance. They had plenty of room to set the truck up without blocking it off and it would have required just a little bit of thinking and courtesy on their part. The sight manager on duty, Joey, didn't seem to care at all at the fact that they had blocked the driveway and were making a mess in it. To top it all off, when they went to "clean up" the work they did, they blew all the dust right smack into my truck. I'd recommend going with someone else that is going to think through the job they have at hand and be respectful of the client's property and driveway as this was just pure lack of care and customer service. read more

i had them come out twice since 2021 snow. First time they remove branches and branch over hanging the house. They did great job. Second time 2022 I had 2 big trees died from snow. This was a big job. They came with equipment to deal with the large trunk of tree. I appreciate they came out correct equipment and safety for level of the job. They took care so no one would get hurt. This company are pros. Many of my neighbors were impressed. Since then one of my neighbors had them come take out 2 pecan trees. Bugs, spiders, cockroaches- I have no problem with. Scorpions, rattle snakes- burn the house down. With a baby in the house and scorpions that blend in with our hardwood floors, I had no where to turn except for pest control. I did pretty extensive research and J&M had the best price, service all around. We've been on their quarterly service and I like how if you see anything in-between those visits, they come free of charge and pretty quickly as well. It's always easy to get a hold of them, and I've never had any issues with their service. Most recently Luke came out to check some traps in our garage and found a baby rattlesnake. I found a mud tunnel on the side of the house and looked it up on the internet. Termites! So I called J&M trying to contain my panic and Mike came out and he had a look at the area. He suspected the termites were agricultural termites and picked one up to show me what it looks like and then confirmed it by showing me the picture. Then he informed me about agricultural termites and how they eat live grasses and weeds instead of dead wood. I was so relieved. So relieved. He checked the perimeter again and gave a professional opinion with the best options. Because of his honesty and extensive knowledge, he saved me $645. How do I know? In my panic, I had also called another business (rather not say their name) for an estimate who showed up shortly after Mike from J&M and they wanted to charge me $645 to treat it. They have been a great resource over the years to help identify bugs that I've found in the yard or in the house as harmful or helpful. Recently they came over and helped take out a giant tree that I found out was poisonous to my dogs as well as trim up a few trees that were too far out of my reach. I originally used J&M to prune trees in my yard that had become overgrown. They did a great job, gave me advice on what to do with the trees in the future and offered to come out several times a year to check up on some of my older trees. Soon after, I needed someone for pest control. I went back to J&M and have had a great experience on that front as well. We used to have cockroaches and other insects crawling into our house but since using J&M, I have not seen one roach in the house. Called J&M on Saturday morning after finding animal poop in our attic. Had a great chat with Mike about what the source could be and next steps. He explained that he didn't have a chance to come to us for a few days but that there were ways to get started on the problem now. He gave me some great tips to determine what was living up there and how long it had been there. As a first step, he suggested taking pictures of what I had found and texting them to him. 10 minutes later he called back and said gecko poop! Nothing to do, no work needed. I actually felt bad not being able to pay him for something as I felt he had really helped me. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, I will definitely call him if we have any needs in the future. When we moved into our home there was a dangerous dead tree hanging about 20-30 feet over the neighbor's fence over their shed/doghouse and about 20 hack-berry trees. Unfortunately I've had to hire Mike for his service, but when I tell ya that it gets no better, I'm not jokin! Last Fall, we were doing a whole house remodel on a vacant property that was rat infested. I learned so much more than I ever wanted to know, with this project lol, but Mike was amazing!! He is so easy to communicate with, he's NOT trying to up sell you anywhere, and damnit, he gets the job done. I've not seen a rodent since he sealed us off and trapped all the others. This rat house party was over once Mike showed up. He was very fair in price for his service too. Most recently, we've been experiencing huge roaches and ants trying to hang out in the kitchen area of the remodel. That shyt is a no-no. Mike got me in within days, and I haven't seen either since!!
