I called to cancel my service due to moving out of their service area, with a couple months left on the contract. Most businesses would be understanding of this, but X Out tried to make me feel guilty, and threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay for services I would not be receiving. I let them know I would dispute any charges with my bank, before having them say they would "cancel out fees" if I "wanted to do business that way." We'll see what happens. While the service was of acceptable quality, the experience of dealing with something that should be a simple understanding of circumstances changing was not. The person I spoke with was named TJ, and I'd recommend his employers have a conversation with him about how he represents their business. read more

the fleas were out of control, so i called x out. i liked that i spoke w someone local for booking. they knew details about my neighborhood, like pier and beam homes being common, which gave me confidence in their expertise. they were able to schedule service for the following day, which was important to me. x out gave a 60 day warranty on their treatment, and my technician assured me the treatment would last through the summer months. we have already seen a steep decrease in the fleas and its barely been 24 hrs. thanks so much to ray and all the x out staff for making this such an easy, pleasant experience. i have never used professional pest control services before, but i am glad to have found x out, theyre great! read more

i wish all services were as efficient to communicate with as these people are. we came back from a long vacation to a dozen or so wasp nests in our eaves, and were referred by a friend who has had an excellent experience with the company. i submitted a request for them to come out on a sunday, got a text monday morning, and someone was spraying for bugs the very same morning. i dont think i have ever experience such a quality service when dealing with anything contractor related. Caleb was a trooper, explained everything he would be doing during the visit while also answering questions i had about the products used (all pet friendly!). He also did an incredible job clearing the freeloading wasps that tried establishing squatters rights while we were out of town. No notes, 10/10 would recommend anyone needing help evicting demons from their home at a fair price. read more

I had a horrible experience working with Ricky who has no empathy for customers, no accountability and clearly no expertise in what he does. He has no integrity. X Out seems to be a good company but people like Ricky truly ruin the experience for customers. We used X Out for a termite infestation in our home in East Austin. Ricky came out and did the treatment. He told us in three days the activity will decrease and in two weeks it will completely be gone. One week after treatment, there was a sudden increase in termite swarming. We were shocked because we were informed activity should decreased. We reached out to Ricky and instead of showing empathy, he made us feel as if we were disturbing him, when it was due to his incompetence that the activity increase was not mitigated or communicated to us. He gave us conflicting answers on what to do (he said he will come back in '2 weeks', then in another message '1 month'). All while giving attitude as if this problem is not due to his own lack of communication. Luckily i spoke with Danny (the manager) and he assured us that he will send a more competent and emphatetic technician to come out to address the problem. We appreciate Danny very much. If you will work with this company, avoid Ricky at all costs. read more

Worked with Nick to help both with normal bugs and critters getting into house as well as a family of squirrels in the attic. Nick was communicative, always let me know when he was on his way and was timely, consistently. Always responsive to texts and calls. Very knowledgable, has been doing this for like 17 years or something. He came up with a plan, made sure I felt good with it and worked through getting the squirrels out (and some mice =)), sealing everything up, and helping on all bugs fronts. Caleb came out and listened to our pest control needs and immediately began treatment. The whole process took about 45 minutes and Caleb explained why he was treating a certain area and for which pests. He was very kind and respectful of our property.
