We contracted with this company to clean our mother's home after another company provided extermination services. Our contract states "1x service to clean up rat droppings throughout the home and garage. Also sanitize with DSV. * Tech will need to move some furniture around to clean up the droppings". I confirmed that the wording meant they would clean everywhere. I was told "if we can access it, we will clean it." I was suprised when one tech showed up to clean the entire house. I had a family member take a video of the house after the services were completed and there were rat droppings under the couch, under the beds, behind the furniture and in plain sight. It was as if they hadn't cleaned at all. I called and they were very professional and agreed to come back. After the second cleaning I saw rat droppings on the back of the couch and on my mother's desk. I felt, if they didn't clean areas that were clearly visible to me, they most likely didn't clean everywhere. I called and requested my money back. The wanted to come out again. I think they just don't provide thourough cleaning as they represented. They insisted on coming out again. I only wanted my money back but they just didn't want to entertain that option. read more

I spoke with Tony via Yelp message in helping me get the right service for my tenant who is dealing with ants. He was responsive and made the process really easy in booking and paying for the one time service. The value was reasonable compared to quotes I was getting elsewhere for the small condo unit! The pest control personnel was prompt and friendly and even informed my tenant of what type of ants she was dealing with and that it was due to the weather. Payment was due via email after the service was complete. We used APM for several years, but ended service on poor terms. We asked for advanced notice of their arrival, so we could prepare inside and out for the treatments, but APM does not work that way. They come on their schedule to the house. This meant we were paying hundreds for the company to sprinkle dust around the outside of the house. I withheld payment the last time, but APM went directly to collections. Do yourself a favor, work with someone who respects their customers. read more

I had nothing but amazing experiences with Absolute, from their office staff to their technicians, in particular, Johnny. Johnny is so knowledgeable about his craft and took the time to educate me on the behaviors of these bugs. He also kept in consistent contact - called and asked how things were going and set up follow up visits if necessary. I moved it to a 3 star because of this effort. Future encounters could potentially raise this further. Original Post - I wasn't the one paying, luckily. When I was purchasing a house, the seller paid Absolute around $1000 to take care of a rodent issue and seal up entrances, etc. There were still carcasses in the attic, they missed half a dozen entry points (that another company ended up fixing). So for $1000, it looks like all they did was put in a few traps and came back and checked them a couple of times. I was given a warranty for them, but given what I had seen so far, I decided to not waste my time, and went with someone else. The other company actually did seal off entrance points, sprayed the front and back yards, and the inside of the house for normal pest control purposes, and also deodorized the attic and garage for less than absolute charged to do basically nothing. read more

If you are reading this review, I hope you read carefully my review. I had to call the office several times to make a reservation. I asked for an extra service, but they didn't accept it. I signed a one-year contract and offered the service every month, but it didn't come for two months. Then, it is simply passed as a system problem. Appeals as a local company but not at all and worst service. It was a schedule service day, but it did not come again. Please listen to me and do not use this company for me. I've had great responses and dialogue with Absolute Pets Management. The folks they send over are always polite and professional and get after it. Looking through the other reviews I feel badly for the company and it's owners, this is Texas folks. We get critters, especially when it gets hot. So in response to other reviews in here let me share this thought: I know it's upsetting to have a bug problem but you have to read between the lines in these reviews folks. I don't know anyone at this company personally, and I'm not related to anyone that works there etc. I just know hard working honest dealers when I see them and I can't imagine a customer who's coming in good faith being anything less than happy with their service from this company. read more

He was professional, kind, reassuring--probably the reason I will continue to work with this company. My apartment is contracted with absolute and has been infested with millipedes for almost a month. Absolute was to come out the next day to spray. I saw on my cameras that the exterminator came in, but my pets were out so he left without spraying. I immediately drove to the leasing office, asked someone in the office if she could get him to go back then put my pets away and left for work. As I was driving the office called saying he could be there right away if I could let him in, so I turned around and was there within 5 minutes. When I arrived he was sitting in his truck. I asked if he was ready to go up and spray in my apartment. He replied that he just finished spraying and didn't know why the person in leasing office told me he didn't have a key to get in. "I have one right here" he said while pointing to a pocket in his jacket. He told me it was now safe to let the pets out, so I let them out and returned to work. Then I reviewed camera footage from the time that I left after putting cats away until the time I reentered to let the cats back out. The exterminator knocked, rang the doorbell and then left. He did not spray in my apartment. He straight up lied to me. So I got in touch with Absolute and Tony's response says it all about this company. Terrible customer service from the owner so no wonder you get terrible service from the employee. I have attached photos of the email he sent me. GREAT SERVICE FROM A LOCAL FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS Earlier this year our office needed to cut back from a monthly spraying to quarterly. We used Terminix and originally planned on just sticking with them, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I had to follow up with three phone calls to speak to what sounded like the only person at their office to give quotes. Well my fourth call to them was to cancel their services. I left a message with Absolute Pest Management and was called back the same day by Robert. I scheduled a visit by him within the next few days where he explained in detail how their services work. Their prices were more than reasonable compared to ABC. After two quarterly visits I can say we are happy with the great service given from this local family owned business. I had them spray due to seeing two roaches. A o couple of days later, another one. They did come right out courteously. Exactly a month after, when guarantee ran out, another roach. Another service. This time I bought every three month service for a reduced rate. Then another one. Well it was three months and no oe called me to schedule. They came right out. However, they charged me more than I remember agreeing to, but I could not find agreement. If they don't call at 3 months, I'll find someone else. The tech was very polite. These guys are as fake as they come. They don't spray anything and they upsell services to apartment managers who just pass down the cost to the renter. We had a horrible bed bug problem at home. We suffered for several nights and tried everything from powders to sprays from Amazon. Nothing worked. Finally decided to get professional quotes. A lot of companies do chemical treatments and quotes us $1100-$1500 for just part of the home. We have a small baby at home so stared considering heat treatment. Initially the price was certainly a sticker shock. $3k for just one day of treatment. But we decided to go for it to avoid repeated chemical treatments. Absolute also have us warranty extension and Sunday service. Moreover chemical treatments needed a lot of work in the home in terms of washing, bagging all clothes etc. some of those chemicals are harmful and stay in the home for upto 10 years. When they actually did the treatment we understood why the cost is high. They brought 5-6 six feet tall heaters and heated the home to 130-140F. That day and we didn't have a single bed bug since. Heat treatment is the way to go. I am deducting one star only because I wished they sent two people to the home instead of one. It's too much work for just one laborer. They moved all our furniture but didn't place it back. They also used our home furnace heater which I didn't appreciate. When done, if the technician had opened the windows out home would have cooled a lot faster. The home AC would simply blow up if you try to cool from 99F to 75F quickly. It just wasn't effective. So that night we had to sleep with doors and windows open and no AC. It was uncomfortable but all in all worth it to get rid of bugs for ever. We complained to management and they remedied the situation with a discount. Would definitely hire them again, but hope not to. read more

I've had two appointments with Absolute Pest Management. They have great customer service and are always able to schedule me in whenever I need. I've worked with other pest management services before like ABC and this is by far, the best. After two visits the weird beetle like bugs I kept finding in my bathroom and living room are gone. Everytime I spot one I call Absolute and they come and fix the problem and come back if there are still bugs within 30 days of them coming. Robert was super patient with me and described what the problem was and where it was potentially coming from so I could address the issue. I was fed up with terminex. I felt like I never got a straight answer out of them and was paranoid about termites. So I called Absolute for an inspection. They were on time and Greg, was super nice. I felt like someone was finally giving me straight answers. He pointed out some problems I had with access to the underside of my house and said I should just buy a fogger or two for my flea problem in the shed.
