J&J provides honest, trustworthy and friendly pest control services. I've had others in Austin that were not good, so I feel qualified to review! Bud is my technician and he is so knowledgeable, remembers the property along with my past bug invaders to treat accordingly each time. They communicate well with advance with calls to schedule quarterly service AND send reminders. The quarterly service is perfect for me, and I only do inside service once a year if I'm seeing bugs inside...the exterior treatment controls things well. Also, they are mindful and cautious knowing I have dogs. Well done J&J, it's very nice to have pest control on auto-pilot and not worry about it. If I see bugs or wasps in my case, in between services they come back no charge! read more

I had a great experience with J&J Pest. What stood out to me was the great communication and focus on education before a tech even came out. Whereas most services I contacted were not especially interested in learning about my insect problem, J&J was focused on understanding the insects, asking for pictures, and quick to educate me about the species I was dealing with. At no point did they attempt to sell me on a recurring service or any kind of plan and it seemed clear that their intent was to actually solve my problem rather than rope me into recurring payments of any kind. The technician who came out was great to work with, happy to explain everything he was doing, and did more treatments than I was expecting based on the quoted price. I'm very happy with J&J. We have used J & J Pest Control for many years. They are always incredibly friendly and professional. We have been very happy. However, everything went up an even bigger notch for us this week. We had an infestation of flying insects in our bathroom and I started to worry (maybe even slightly panic) that they were termites. I called J & J and Barbara answered the phone and very kindly said, "Let me just tell you that this is not the time of year for termites. They cannot handle the heat here in the summer. So, it is really a low possibility." I asked her if I might send a picture to someone just to make sure. She told me that I absolutely could and gave me Monica's cell phone number! I sent pictures and Monica texted me back within a nano second and told me that she thought it was a type of flying ant, but could not be sure by the photo I sent. (It was blurry) She told me that I was welcome to send her more photos. The next day, I sent Monica two more photos. Once again, I received a reply in an nano-second. She wrote, "I can see a waist! Hurrah!" I loved that she was so happy to celebrate the news with me. Then Monica told me what traps I needed. She told me that they sell them, but that I could also get them somewhere more convenient to me and gave me names of places that sell them. WOW! What amazing customer service! He moved into a different area so we got a new tech, Becky. She is awesome! We are so comfortable with her in our home after 9 years that when she is here for her visit which is usually early on Saturday mornings, I can stay in my PJ's, drinking my coffee while she does her thing.
