Todd helped me decide on unit size, location, options, and helped me start a unit rental in short period of time walking me through all the details and information. He was organized, efficient and very helpful in answering all my questions. I like the unit I rented. The facility is conveniently located off of Slaughter Lane. The space is clean, the building is well maintained and secure. The office is clean and organized and sells moving supplies as well. Courtesy moving carts are on site and available. There is plenty parking and space for loading and unloading. The hours are great and the pricing is fair. I highly recommend this business. read more

Brilliant!!! Stor self storage location with USPS substation. It's like a mini post office without the loooooong line. I'm usually in/out in no time. This place is quiet, clean & well stocked with all the regular postal supplies as well as moving/storage needs. The guys are really nice, super helpful & the parking is great too! I hesitated reviewing this place as I intended keeping this place all to myself. But as an only child, I really need to learn to share! There's a certain level of vulnerability involved when you entrust your stuff to someone else's care. From day one, Todd and David worked to make sure that I felt comfortable with the placement of my storage unit, the security put in place to protect its contents, and hassle-free billing. One of them was always there to happily answer any of my questions, promptly call me back if I left a phone message, or simply remember my name and say hello when I would see them. When I called to let them know I'd be moving my things out in a few days, Todd could not have been nicer. He immediately took me off of auto pay and emailed the receipt for the days I had left. The day that I did move everything out of the unit, both Todd and Dave were extremely friendly. I think their rates are comparable if not better than most places in the area. Since 2015 I have continuously had many and also multiple units at the same time at Stor Self Stor, as well as secure US mail service. For over eight years I recieved the same excellent customer care from Todd and the staff. They are always ready to handle any request and find a way to meet unusual circumstances too. I travel alot and the team will quickly package up my mail and send it to wherever I am. Most importantly, the grounds and buildings are immaculate. I know that my items in storage are secure and kept intact in a facility that is kept in perfect condition. The security camera monitoring on all floors and perimeter of the entire facility is another fantastic feature. Stay away from this place. I've had a storage unit here for more than ten years. What the current management is best at is raising their rates. They are now about twice the local market. Pretty much everything else about them is below average. Carts you can use are falling apart. Dust and dirt in the halls works into the units, along with damaging insects. they have about 30 rat traps around the place. Hmmmm. Wonder why. The overall service they provide has declined steadily - for example you can no longer dispose of recyclables in their bank of dumpsters which was allowed and was of value for years. No more. No reduction in rents with the elimination of this service. Except some people are allowed to use them as I saw on my last visit when I was told the new policy, so I guess only special people. Latest problem is that something leaked waxy crap through the ceiling of my unit and stained my furniture, clothes, a rug, artwork, boxed items, etc. I waited to hear from them, on what they plan to do about it, but nothing. Their reply the day I moved out my belongings was, fundamentally, 'you should not have stored your stuff here'. Be forwarned. They are pretty close to me, but for the $140 I can save each month by moving a couple of miles for the same unit, it is no contest. Sad they have gone downhill so far. read more

I'm sorry to have to report that I had a rather unpleasant experience with a young woman named Shelby who works at the satellite US Mail location here. I brought in a package, fully wrapped and I asked her about price to send it to my daughter and her family in Massachusetts. She asked for the zip code and I gave her what I thought it was. When she told me the charge I asked for when it would arrive, and what other options I'd have. She became obviously annoyed with me and proceeded to assist other customers while I asked her to help me confirm the city of the zip code I gave her. She said that there wasn't a way for her to look up the city of which I was certain. After another customer came and went I said to her, "Pretend I just walked in the door and I want to send this package to this other zip code. How much is it and what city does that show as the destination?" She told me, I paid for the postage and left. With the competition the US Postal Service is facing I'd think they'll be more than a little disappointed to hear about this. I use them whenever I can because they have come through for me many times, but if it means dealing with very obviously unhappy and borderline snarky people I'll let UPS do the job. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Horrible customer service and incredibly disappointed to say the least! I visited this place to mail my Christmas presents. I walked in with a smile only to be greeted by a dirty look from the employee. I felt instantly uncomfortable. I asked him if they had any bigger boxes to ship the presents and he snapped back and said "FOR SALE!". Wow.. strike number 2 in my book. As I was putting the boxes together, I asked if he had any scissors I could use and he responds "Somewhere in here... if you can find them!". At this point, I was so disgusted that I couldn't believe how this employee was treating me. I asked if he had any packing material available and again he answered "FOR SALE!". MInd you I continued to keep a smile on my face as he had a crappy disposition the entire time. Yes of course it's for sale! I'm not looking to receive anything for free. I was completely aware of that when I walked in. I finally decided the heck with this place, walked out and went down to the mailing store on Escarpment. ALL the employees were great! They greeted me with a smile and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I will NEVER go to this place again!! I don't care how close it is to my house. I have been in the customer service/sales industry for many years and no one should be treated that way. read more

I stored the entire contents of my home for 3 years at Stor. The staff is congenial, professional and very courteous. When it came time for movers to move the contents of my unit, I gave my notice but hadn't confirmed a firm move date. They called me to check on that date so my charge would just be a proration of the rent for that month. Stor is exceptionally clean and secure and I highly recommend the Circle C Store to anyone who wants a safe, well-lit, exceedingly well-maintained storage company for their things with excellent customer service. read more

I moved into this unit a couple months ago. When we called Todd said we could have 2 months half off since they did not have the unit size we wanted so had to go with a bigger one. When I signed my lease he took that offer off of the table. At that point I needed something right away but was very annoyed. At the beginning of July I called to make sure he still wouldn't give me the offer he told me he would and he said no, so I told him I would be leaving at the end of the month. I did not know my exact move date and it was last minute when I gave my notice, only a day before, still having to pay for the 10 day notice. Not a big deal. When I went to move in and sign my paperwork I brought up that I told someone over the phone that I was leaving at the end of the month to see if they would work with me. Rather than having nice customer service experience and saying no in a respectful way, I was aggressively come at by Todd and David (pretty sure that was his name) who kept telling me what I did wrong and how I should have read my lease and so on, they would not give it up, even after I paid. How rude Todd was, as he yelled across the room at me while helping someone else, was beyond me. I am sure if I had a male with me they would have been more respectful, as a woman, I was shocked how they both talked to me. It is a shame because it is a nice spot but if you are trying to have a respectful customer service experience while storing your things I would not recommend. I will say one older man helped me when I moved who was just lovely. read more
