I was going to rent the unit for a year total, but would be paying $500+ at the end of the year to rent here versus any other facility on the exact same street. Instead of paying $89/mo for a 10x10 unit, you should go right across the street to: ExtraSpace Storage - $62/mo for the same unit CubeSmart Storage - $51/mo for the same unit PublicStorage - $61/mo for the same unit SecureSpace Self Storage - $72/mo for the same unit The company is apparently under new management, and the new corporate owners are terribly greedy and won't provide a lower Paid-In-Full rate either even if you have the resources to do so, or any other reasonable compromise. They are banking on it being too inconvenient for their current customers to move their stuff for a better rate elsewhere, and profiting off busy people who don't have the time to rent a truck and move their things out of one storage facility across the street for another. They have lost my business, and I hope you don't make the mistake of giving them yours and then having to pay 35% more for no reason whenever they feel like charging you. Just go literally anywhere else - I guarantee you will find a lower rate for the exact same quality of unit.

He helped me set up my account there, renew my contract, and helped me tremendously with the move-out. The space is clean, well protected and very organized. My unit is in a HORRIBLE side of town with a LITERAL crack house next door but the rate increases happen every 5 to six months. I went from paying $55 (insurance included) and now pay $71 because they brought my rate down slightly with hardships, but next Nov it will be over $120 for a 6x10 in an awful area. DO NOT LEASE a unit from this place they have a rat infestation and they lie to you about it. I…read morepurchased the insurance through them and the insurance didn't cover anything. I tried calling the manager of this facility and she lied, told me she would see if there was anything she could do it's been 2 weeks still no call back when I tried reaching back out to her the phone goes straight to voicemail. She lied about knowing they have a rat issue as well. The rat was dead in my unit for probably a month. It was wedged in between two boxes. Those boxes had my high end valuables in them. The smell is so bad, my stuff smells like death. There is nothing that can be done to get the smell out. She also told me I wasn't the first person that this has happened to and she never heard anything from the other customer that had an issue stating the insurance wouldn't cover and replace there items. Not to mention when we first looked at the unit it was empty nothing at all in the unit then days later they put some rat repellent in the units. If I would have had a slight clue about any of these issues I would have definitely been more cautious about putting my stuff here. There is also an old man on the property that I feel tries to "help you" so he can either get money from you or get stuff from you. I couldn't believe he asked to help me he is very fragile looking he also looks like he lives in the unit he's "renting". I also went to the property at about 9ish and two people were sitting outside the unit smoking, carrying on and they had there belongings everywhere. They were even blocking my storage unit with their stuff. Stay away from this storage facility or you'll end up like me.
