My experience: I had to meet some movers at this public storage location at 8 am on a weekday, and when I arrived, my code would not open the gate. Luckily, in typical mover fashion, the moving truck was late, and when Clint arrived at work, he sorted out my code problem. Apparently, there was an issue with the computer system, which I assume is a PS proprietary problem and not a location issue. Do note that the office opens at 9:30, so if you will need assistance, don't arrive too early! Clint in the office is very helpful. Also, the location of this storage building is perched on a hill, and you drive up a winding driveway to reach it. I missed the sign once while looking for it, and the movers had to make a U turn to access the drive. Not a big deal, but helpful info if you have a large vehicle or lousy navigation skills!

The price has gone up dramatically 7. The elevator nearest my items is not working for over a week.

Now where this storage facility lost me was the weird lady that they had living in the living quarters. I'm pretty sure that she was employed by the facility as well probably even the manager BUT what I didn't appreciate was how she literally would be so passive aggressive & totally intruding. One night she walked past us while we were minding our business honestly forcing a conversation with me & my husband that we honestly didn't want to engage in. Then we would always find her coming in and out at the times that we would come to our storage almost as if she would be watching and stalking us. She's just very weird... everyone doesn't want to be your friend. Do your job and stay out of the way. This is a storage facility not a strip mall. She has followed my husband around on several occasions. We even attempted to enter the facility on a different end of the building just to avoid her and her living space and when we came out she was using the same exit that was completely on the OPPOSITE end of where she lives which this was after business hours. She also would let her untrained dog(s) PATRICK run around UNLEASHED! LIKE what is it with the weird psycho stalker behavior. I bet no else felt this way but us she definitely treated us this way because we are a young black couple. Lady learn how to mind your business & get a life outside of work. After Cubesmart took over, I suddenly started getting invoices for the month I'd already paid to Extra Space plus two months into the future at double the rate. Never once did I receive any information about the change in ownership or increased rent. Now of course the new company acts like there's nothing they can do. So Extra Space Storage and Cubesmart both get a one-star review.
