This is my second review of this fine establishment. I love that all the units are easily accessible and all single story. The facility is super clean and I rarely bump into other tenants when I I need to access my belongings which is probably more luck than anything. So FYI they will hack up the price $50 if you walk in vs calling . Got a quote on the phone 10/9/18 for a 5x10 fir $58 walked in on 10/10/18 and was given a quote for $102! Sounds like a scam to me!! Update - funny how they make a comment weeks later..... no I wasn't confused. And I'm glad I didn't rent from them after the lack of customer service I got from the guy in the office. The delayed response speaks to the Lousy customer service they give . They didn't explain anything and should've given the price I was quoted on the phone the day prior to me coming in. I have to say that the new managers don't have any customer service qualities. The previous managers were better than the current ones there now. Ever since the new management team has taken over, I have been very disappointed. I have served over 25 years of military service I have never been so disappointed. I have been a customer of this facility for the past nine months and have previously been very satisfied. The woman who helped us rent the unit (blonde older woman) was very nice and helpful, and the rate advertised on their website was honored easily when we went to rent the unit, and everything was clean. However, I just got a notice in the mail stating that my rent will be increasing by 276%!!!! I definitely understand that rent increases are normal, but I never would have expected such a drastic and significant increase. I had been recommending this facility to people I knew and if this is truly a 276% increase and not a mistake, I will be forced to take my business elsewhere and highly discourage anyone from renting here. :( read more

This place is awesome! A year ago I was moving out to Costa Mesa and needed to store my extra stuff somewhere since I was moving into a smaller space and this place worked their magic, had a spot open for me, and even let me borrow a moving truck. Win! Customer service is amazing. They recently switched ownership and the old owners forgot to charge my card and a lien was about to be placed on my property. Oh no! I called and they were able to get that all sorted out, get my card run, and return it all back to normal. Yay! I'm a happy customer and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Although this company was originally pleasant to deal with in February when they contracted our unit for $92 per month, we just received a notice on 10/15/17 that our rent will increase to $239 on 11/16/17. WHAT? A TWO HUNRED PERCENT increase? Are these people out of their minds?**11/01/17 I have adjusted my rating from one to three stars because after posting this review I was offered a more reasonable increase from $92 to $118 which I accepted. Regardless, increasing a tenants rent before one year has even passed is poor business practice. read more

The relatively-new managers Rusty and Terra (they are new at this location but have been in the business for many years) are the best people you can ever deal with. I had an old unit before I dealt with them and this location was managed by someone else when i moved in. It was way substandard to how this lovely and amazing couple had my unit ready for me. It was scrubbed clean -- floors, walls, etc. They made sure to give me options, looked up a good price for me, and treat me how a customer should be treated. And when you see them, they are always so pleasant and easy to deal with. Maybe storage units are the same, but not this one here. read more

I've been with STOR-IT for several years, but in the last year they have gotten greedy and rude. In the last 6 months I've had 2 rate increases. They provide a number to call, but after 2 months and 16 phone calls, no one returned my call, I gave up and moved out. Kim Alton, the operations manager will not return phone calls. The corporate office doesn't care. THEY HOPE YOU WILL BE LAZY AND JUST PAY THE RATE INCREASES. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AND GO SOMEONE ELSE, UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY TWICE THE RATE THEY QUOTE WHEN YOU MOVE IN. read more

I shopped around before choosing STOR -IT. I was looking for price of course, but also wanted safety and cleanliness. I had moved from a larger home to a smaller one and wasn't ready to get rid of my belongings. I found the manager Kim to be super pleasant, helpful and always willing to help me with whatever I needed. Other places I have used in the past seemed somewhat seedy, dark and deserted. I've been renting a couple of small units at this facility for a few years. Rusty and Terra could not have been nicer when I needed a larger unit to help me downsize from my apartment. They were very accomodating and gave me a break on the first month. One thing I appreciate which I had not considered was Rusty required me to lay down a tarp in the unit to insulate against the concrete floor which can let moisture pass through to cardboard boxes. It was easy to consolidate the smaller units with the use of they dollies they let me borrow. The free moving truck made it convenient to move most of my belongings from my apartment in. Terra made sure all my contact info was up to date and closed out my old units and had the staff sweep them out for me, which saved me some time I needed to organize my new unit. read more
