Good, safe, and affordable storage. I started the process of reserving a storage unit online and completed it in-person. Whoever helped me was very friendly and explained everything about the facility to me and walked me to my unit to show me how to use it. Pros: - The facility is very clean and well lit. - The facility is climate controlled. - Access to the elevators and to your storage unit(s) is with their app. - You are not required to purchase a lock like other storage places since the units are remotely unlocked with your app. If you want it to be more secure you can add your own lock as well. - There are carts available on each floor to use. - There are 24-hour security cameras. Cons: - There are no drive-up storage units at this location, it is strictly indoors. I'm not sure how long this place has been here, but I've never seen it busy. There's plenty of parking to load/unload. They are strict about operating hours and will charge you if you are there after hours. Access to the facility is from 6:00AM-9:00PM daily. It seems like they offer U-Haul truck rental as there are a bunch of them parked on the side of the building. I haven't confirmed that though. Wi-Fi access is available in case service isn't good inside the facility. I recommend this place for your storage needs! read more

I chose Lock and Leave because it appeared to have good security and was clean. Soon after I moved my home belongings in the prior tenant that vacated my storage unit was able to open the door to my unit and my wife and I were E-notified on our cell phones that someone other than us opened our storage door. I then contacted the manager on- site and he told me that he failed to cancel the prior tenant's access to my storage unit. I went down there and discovered my only car key for my spare car was missing. Management checked security camera footage and reassured me that the former tenant never got into my belongings. I then hired a locksmith to make a new key for my spare car but he was unable to program a new key. I hired another locksmith but got the same result as it was a dealer only type of key replacement. It was then towed away because it was parked too long in a public access parking lot. I had much difficulty finding my car because the tow ordering person that managed the parking lot and the tow company failed to document to the police that they took my car. For this reason I filed a car theft report. Because my title was in the car and I just bought it the week before I had to contact the prior owner to get another title. This delayed my trying to get my car back. At present after 2 weeks the tow company did not prepare a lien sale of my car and demanded original title, original insurance papers, original registration papers and police vehicle release papers and caused delay in getting my car out. To date I am still unable to get my car returned and incurred $1,400 in storage and towing fees. To make matters worse 6 days after my rent was due Lock and Leave locked me out after I unloaded my storage unit contents. I was then forced to load my contents back into my SUV and denied access to my storage unit. By CA storage law I have at least 28 days from date payment is first due to access and remove my belongings and under the Code denied access. Both Brent the store manager and James the regional manager demanded "pay to vacate" for a dollar amount that they wanted me to tell them and refused to remedy the negligent access of my storage unit by the former tenant and car key loss issue. I am financially unable to move into my new apartment as I need to keep my other car for transportation that I intended to sell to Carmax and now forced to stay in a costly motel and without furniture to move into my new apartment. Lock and Leave simply are heartless, careless, negligent and money hungry and not attentive to the problem that they caused me by their unlawful premature lock-out and negligence in allowing the prior tenant to access my new storage unit. Their response to me incensed me so much that I am filing an unlimited lawsuit against them and the tow company for their bad faith and illegal tactics to force me to lose my stored belongings to lien sale auction. 12 months ago my mother died. Her ashes, jewelry and personal records and files including savings bonds are inside my storage unit. I really want to go buy a chain saw and cut the door to access my storage unit to recover my mom and her belongings and it really makes me upset that Lock and Leave would intentionally harm me the way that they do. DONT EVER CONSIDER RENTING FROM LOCK AND LEAVE. THEIR NAME BEST DESCRIBES THEIR ILL BEHAVIOR. WHEN YOU "LOCK AND LEAVE" YOU CANNOT GET YOUR BELONGINGS BACK AS THEY PROMOTE UNLAWFUL FORFEITURE OF YOUR STORED BELONGINGS. read more

After a stressful day packing up and moving, we arrived to Lock and Leave Storage to find amazing service and friendly staff who went out of their way to arrange our storage unit, show us how to work the keyless entry systems and explained the payment process. The facility is immaculate, felt very safe and secure, and it was clear that they team took pride in the work they do and the service they provide. 10 out 10 and highly recommend. And one final shout out to Savino T., who saved the day and helped my husband and I with a very heavy and awkward item when he was off shift. While I don't have any pictures to share, I do have my experience! If you're hesitant on getting a unit here, search no longer. Their deals are amazing, offering 50% for 6 months on select storage units. We had the chance to stay here for quite some time, it's extremely spacious inside and out. The air quality inside is controlled perfectly, & we love love loved the fact that you can handle everything with a touch of a button from your phone. This is the future of storage units. First thing I want to say is this place is a safe place to store your things.i really like how you use your phone to unlock my unit with my phone. And it super clean. Only thing I have to say is if you have a unit on the 2nd floor you have to walk all the way around the building to use the bathroom. Besides that would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Lock and Leave in Lake Forest, CA is a best in class long term storage solution for both corporate and individual clients. I stored my belongings in a 11 x 17 x 8 foot unit and left the state for 6 months. When I returned I observed that their state of the art air cooling and cleaning system had left zero dust in my unit, all things had been temperature controlled to no more than 65 degrees and everything was in 100% perfect order. James works hard to listen to all your moving needs, making the proper suggestions for storing bedding, providing help in figuring out how to package up bulky and cumbersome items as well as just be a friendly face and person to assist you at the facility. Brent was great at getting me introduced and set up for storage at this very up-to-date tech savvy facility. Customer service was excellent and the storage building is clean, well-lit, and feels like a quality environment for storing belongings. There were lots of storage options to choose from and the area is quieter and not as crowded and chaotic as other places seemed. I was really impressed with discount offerings combined with such a well-maintained, sparkling new, and even sort of stylish (yes, "stylish" for a storage facility) place.
