I first used Crown Valley Storage in Mission Viejo back in 2021, and I had such a good experience that I'm back using them again. The facility feels safe and well maintained, and the staff has always been professional and helpful. Earlier this year, one of the employees made the entire sign-up process quick and easy. More recently, Michael was very helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. Great customer service and a storage facility I feel comfortable using. Highly recommended! read more

Staff very helpful and attentive. Facility is very clean and well managed. Prices are on par with other local storage facilities.

Some many issues. First never pick up the company phone when we called. Second said at lunch until 2pm didn't return til 2:30. Door was locked and had to bang on glass to get somebody. Once answered they were on their phone for an additional 5 minutes while we waited. We did an online order and had no help on resolving the issue and was told it had to go to upper management. Employee stated that he would take care of it and it would take a week. Had no sense of compassion or understanding. Felt as if we were a burden and customer service sucked!!!! read more

The dollar rental for 30 days is a scam they kept adding on charges and it is not what they advertise. I asked for a refund but instead they did a move out. No one will give me answers and they tell me different things. I'll never do business with them again,, read more

Eric is awesome and so helpful! He even picked up on his lunch. The contract signing was quick and painless. Prices are great too, we considered a few sizes and all the rates were pretty good. Highly recommend if you're looking for storage you go here. Ask for Eric! read more

Kimberly the manager is very professional. The facility is well maintained and the restrooms are always clean

The only complaint I have is their hours which is that they close everyday at 6:30 pm. And they are closed the entire day on Sunday. Other than that, the place is clean, the staff friendly, and the storage space common areas well lit. read more

1 Star for lack of customer service. Our moving truck company was delayed and we ended up arriving to the storage facility 30-40 minutes before close (7PM). Luckily, we already rented the unit so all we had to do was unload the truck... but we had less than 30 mins. Unluckily, the staff member on duty (Nancy) was extremely rude to us and unhelpful. Understandably, we were running late but she simply told us off and did not offer any alternative options. And she did this in front of other potential customers.. Prior to the moving day, another staff member had let us know that they'd open the gate for us after hours if needed - due to our unique circumstances. Nancy did not honor this and instead, told us that we'd be locked inside the facility after 7PM. LOCKED INSIDE. Could you imagine that? WE HUSTLED and got everything in before close but the rude service was uncalled for. read more

Not open on Sundays..are you kidding me? Prime time for people to have time to get to their storage.

I have very bad experience with them I'm renting a unit since 9 years and they rasing the price every year I always pay in time. I referred my friend to get one there They give her same one like mine with lower price I'm paying $275. They gave her a month free and for $204. I got shocked When I asked to apreciat my long term with them and give me discount or the rate like her they refused So I did ask to move me to a new one the same with the new price they refused So they not aprciatee there customer or care about them and this is bad business read more

Becoming more and more frustrated with this place. They continue to raise my rent... more and more. I would understand an occasional increase but what really angers me is I inquired about the same size unit 2 units down from mine and it was considerably less. I have been here at least 6 years and someone new is paying less than me? I sent an email, I never hear back from them when I email but I will see what they say. Really miss Jessica at this location, she was the best! read more

I truly recommend this place! I appreciate all the help to the staff, location is just great. Couldn't be more happy!

Yelp has decided to make an incredibly important review "Not Recommended" so I'll be copying and pasting the text of that review below: Thousands of dollars of personal possessions including a rare Persian rug, my kids childhood artwork and papers and stuffed animals, antiques and rolls of designer fabric were all damaged and destroyed while in our storage unit due to a serious termite infestation. Fun fact - termites will eat anything organic that contains cellulose when they swarm. The owners offered to "settle" this with us without having to resort to insurance claims and then offered to help move our damaged items to another unit and knock ONE MONTH off our rent. Are you kidding me? Even after they saw the damage they continued to show units on either side of ours knowing there was an infestation in the entire building (ceilings and halls are all open and connected). They claimed that no one else was affected but this is simply impossible with open spaces and halls. I am presently afraid to go back to my unit due to the trauma of having the bugs swarming at us when we came to move the rug out, and the amount of damage in the ceiling makes me very nervous about the building as well. Do yourself and your precious items a favor and go to another place! Inspect for termites and ask what they do to monitor! Attaching just a few photos from our devastating experience here. read more

Shortly after renting a unit here I was in a terrible car accident and my husband was killed and I was hospitalized leaving me the single mother of a 4-year-old so my sister-in-law contacted the facility to handle my balance and get set up on auto pay so that I wouldn't have to worry about that bill while I was a recovering and getting my life in order after she made the arrangements I signed forms at the office allowing these changes to be made to my account two months later I arrived at the property with a truck load of my belongings because I'm moving out of state and I find out I'm locked out of my unit I went to the office to find out what was going on the manager was the rudest person I've ever encountered in my life and refused to listen to any of my concerns I sat for multiple hours on the property with my belongings while she proceeded to go on a lunch break and close the office and completely disregard any of my concerns she would not give me the information to the corporate office nor could I find a direct number to contact them online I had to send an email to a general management company that manages hundreds of properties so needless to say I probably won't receive a fast response if I had the means at this moment I would move to anywhere else because this is by far the most horrible customer service I've ever received in my life and I've had many storage units and been a loyal customer to several facilities because I own a business and I always have to have the largest unit I'm completely astonished at how terribly I've been treated by the on-site property manager who works 90% of the time and unable to contact anyone directly regarding this issue so I've been charged outrageous fees every single month because they keep failing to put my account on auto pay don't ever bring your belongings here it is a horrible place and you'll be treated like dirt I've spoken to several other residents as well as the other employees here and everyone collectively agrees that the manager is the most Un-American unapproachable rude person ever and should not have her position or be managing this business stay away read more

I am so happy to support businesses like this. When people take the time to show they care about their clients it makes such a difference! Jessica has always gone above and beyond for me and its so appreciated. If I ever need a storage unit again I will definitely come back to this location. Thanks again! read more

My unit was broke in, all my personal precious were stolen. The management keep telling me and police investigator the security footage is not available due the technical issues. I've had storage unit in mission viejo for over 10 years, never had this happened to me. First year I moved here, this happened. Think twice before you make the decis. read more

Super friendly and helpful. Most managers and operators are not so kind, especially when customers are in a hurry or stressed out. They calm you down and work with you to ensure all your needs are met. Easy access, great hours, next to home depot if you need tape or a rental truck. They also offer a FREE truck use if you are moving in. No CRAZY speed bumps that mess up a truck full of stuff. Air conditioned, super clean, and easy to get in/out. The help was most friendly. Pricing is the same if not better than ALL other brands in the area. I highly suggest looking around to confirm. This was a winner for me, saving me $10/month. Bottom line, I rate this place a 9.5 out of 10. I used to run a business from another storage unit and also give them a 9.0 out of 10. Others, AHHH. read more

I've used three different storage facilities over the years and by far Crown Valley Self Storage was the best. Really nice people who are very accommodating. Very flexible. I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

We're in the process of moving and wanted to take it slow, plus we'll be homeless for about 5 days and needed a place - DESPERATELY - to stow our stuff. Jessica and Sonny got us all set up with what we needed for the first wave, putting us on a waiting list for a bigger unit for the second wave, and made certain to let us know the instant a larger unit was available. They've been ridiculously helpful, extremely professional, and are always available for anything we need. We've been impressed beyond belief. If you're looking for storage in the Mission Viejo area, this is by far the best experience we've ever had. read more

If I could give 6 or more stars I would. I've had storage before, but have never received such excellent customer service as I have at Crown Valley Storage. The prices were the lowest around (I called a dozen plus places) and the facility is very clean. Jessica and Sonny, on the phone and in person, were so friendly and professional, understanding of my needs and helpful. I've been back several times, and each time they greet and remember me by name. We've had friendly conversation, Jessica even helped me with a bandaid when I cut my finger and then a few days later asked how I was. It's refreshing to feel like my business matters and to see people who take pride in their company, enjoy their job and helping others. I used the truck to move my things, another great perk/value and everything has been very smooth and easy. read more

12/8/2015 We have been going to Crown Valley Self Storage for almost 2 years. The previous owners or employees were NEVER helpful in ANY WAY! Since the new employees namely Jessica took over there has been nothing but excellent service! Jessica is an asset and extremely helpful in every way. If I were the owners I would be SO pleased to have her as my employee. Thanks again for all your help Jessica. You made a very bittersweet experience that much better. Your kindness and helpful hands were VERY MUCH appreciated. Thank you again. If anyone has any need for a storage facility this is your place.! read more

I have been there for going on two years and the prices are extremely reasonable. Anytime I have visited the site it has been clean and well managed and every employee has been professional and friendly. I would like to give special mention to Jessica. I had a very good experience here. The facilities are clean and the staff is awesome. Will definitely recommend to others!

Rented a unit here for about 9 months. Place is clean and secured. Helpful staff, although the only times I had to go to the office were the first and last days I had the unit. They even let you use their truck for move-in if needed. Would def recommend this facility. read more

Jessica is AMAZing!!! I have rented at this facility for 2 years. I found the staff there originally was not very customer oriented. They were no helpful and were very rude. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable in storage. Daniela helped me pick the pefect size for my storage needs.

I was moving into a furnished apartment and had nowhere to put any of my furnishings. With a small budget and little time, Sonny got us a unit that was the perfect size for the perfect price. I've had multiple storage facilities before and none even come close to comparing with Crown Valley Self Storage. Don't go anywhere else, this is the only place I'll do self storage from now on. read more

Such nice people. SOOOO helpful! I never thought I would need a storage unit but sometimes when you're moving it really helps to have one. They could not be any easier or more flexible to deal with. I even went back twice for shipping supplies. Good people. Easy access. Totally helpful and very friendly. I can't find a negative...you won't either! read more

I'm moving in a few months and found an amazing deal on Groupon so I'm able to buy stuff and store it, before moving in. The property manager is very friendly and personable. She makes it very clear what they expect from renters and makes sure you understand what you're signing. The only problem I had was once I purchased the unit, I went back a few hours later put items in, just to find their lock was still on. We talked about that earlier and she said I'd be able to bring my own lock that I purchased somewhere else. We hauled a brand new tv and a ton of new, expensive appliances just to find out, it all had to go back to the car until the next day. It was a little annoying but because the manager was so nice earlier that day, we blew it off and tried again the next day. This time we called to make sure their lock would be off ahead of time so that we'd get our stuff moved in without a problem. The unit was the perfect size we were looking for and like I said, got an amazing deal. read more

Awesome property and awesome staff. Can't say enough good things about this storage place. The manager Jessica is very friendly and outgoing. She made moving in very easy and she was extremely professional & efficient. I looked at a few other storage rental places in south OC and none of them compared to CV Storage. The facility is extremely clean, & the units are bright and open. For the same price as other places, I got a cleaner unit (with wider hallways) with a roll up door, and my unit comes with a light inside. Other units I looked at had swing out doors, narrow hallways and no interior light. They also have normal elevators (not freight) and their interior units are nice and bright with sky lights in the hall. Moving is exhausting and stressful enough, but Jessica went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible for me to move in and borrow their truck for moving. She truly has the best customer service skills I could ever hope for! She's tiny but mighty, very friendly and helpful. Other properties I looked at were dark, dingy & had a kind of creepy feel (like a mausoleum). This property is clean, bright and freshly painted. I'm very happy I took the time to look at multiple properties and decided to go w/CV Self Storage. read more

This place was amazing. Moving isn't always easy and Crown Valley Storage took away so many of my worries. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Sunny an employee was so accommodating and helpful I couldn't have asked for better customer service. Not only did I rent here but because of tier wonderfulness I used their sister property (Plano Storage in Santa Margarita)as well. read more

I've had to use storage units a handful of times in the past and this was the best place and experience I've used, ever, by far. For starters, they prorate the charges. If you only need it for a week you'll only pay for a week, not a full month. There are elevators to the second floor. There are giant palettes available to help you out when storing and removing. Finally, David, the site manager, was awesome and the perfect guy for the job. He was nice, a great communicator, and very helpful. I didn't even know about the giant palettes until he drove over to tell me after seeing me not using them (because I didn't know about them). One last note - the disc padlocks they sell there are only around 50 cents more expensive than the Home Depot down the street. read more
