The reviews for San Clemente Self Storage on Yelp are absolutely the REAL DEAL!! I never in a million years thought I would be writing a passionate review about a storage unit but here I am, ready to rave about this place! We are almost one month in to our four month rental of a large unit to essentially store the contents of our entire home as we are in between moves. Some words that come to mind when I think about our experience using this storage facility thus far are: professionalism, immaculately clean, friendly service, exceptional security, accommodating staff, ease of use, beautiful campus, welcoming and clean front office, super clean restrooms.....I could go on and on! I was very nervous about having to put our whole life in storage since I'd never used a storage unit before and was so overwhelmed. Everyone here made the transition so seamless and easy and I feel so comfortable coming and going, knowing our belongings are in loving hands and I will always be safe (and clean!) when I visit. THANK YOU!!!! read more

This is a phenomenal storage place and would recommend anyone use them. Christine is amazing and is highly professional - great prices too!

I've used many self storage companies for my business and personal use and San Clemente Self Storage is the best. I have been with them for over 5 years and they have always been very accommodating to my needs. Their prices are very reasonable and have a state of the art facility which is kept clean at all times. Can't say enough good things about this operation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The use of the truck and driver was very useful to. read more

I have a catering company and I have been storing all of my catering equipment at San Clemente Self Storage for the last 2 years. The people at San Clemente Self Storage are wonderful! I had so many problems with my horrible moving company (United Relocation) and Christine, Doni and Errol at San Clemente Self Storage helped make everything work. They did so much on my behalf and even called and check to make sure I was OK when my load was almost two weeks late. It is VERY clean and I have total confidence in the staff. I highly, highly recommend San Clemente Self Storage if you need a storage unit that is overseen by really quality people. read more

The storage and location is nice and clean. Staff and pricing is unbeatable, especially they give military rate. The only reason I give it one stars, because I had to move everything out of the house to the storage by myself with a toddler at time. They recommend a mover named Norm (I couldn't recall his last name) and his assistant to help moving. I hired him and discovered he stole a lot of my things. I was really busy with my toddler and couldn't keep on watching him move my stuff, so he took advantage of me and being dishonest. I then reported to the management, they gave him a call saying he denied it. Of course, he's going to say no. However, ended up they do nothing about it, not even offer to look at the camera. I got no time to deal with it since my husband was deployed, so I let it go. Just beware not to hire the guy named Norm. read more

My family moved to another state from San Clemente and I needed a place I could store my things for about eight months. I called several places and I landed on San Clemente Self Storage. Not only are the facilities great, but the employees and manager are very kind and helpful. I feel safe leaving my precious belongings here on this lot. read more

If you are looking for a clean, quality storage facility, that also has quality staff, this is the place. I had long term storage here and just moved out yesterday. The staff went out of their way to assist me in preparing for my move as I needed to do a "live load" of a shipping container. When I ran into a little problem with the shipping company, the staff of San Clemente Self Storage was there to save the day. If any of my friends need a place to store their things they know this is the place. Highly recommend!!!! read more

I have bee here for over 10 years. It was the best hands down. All the employees are top notch. What has happened lately is the silent partners have come in and are turning this place into a Corporate America type of business. They have ruined the family atmosphere. 10 years of my loyalty are going to disappear because of your implementation of new policy. SC self storage used to be special but now, no different than any other storage place. I'll go somewhere else now. Whoever offers me the best deal wins. The word is getting around town and will continue. I will encourage locals to pull out while you sit here and make bank on Marines and their families. The silent partners have ruined it for many. They are not so silent anymore. Before these people came in, I would have rated it 10 stars if possible. The staff is incredible! The people taking over are greedy housewives that have wealthy husbands and have nothing better to do than pretend they know how to run a business. Stay Away! read more

San Clemente Self Storage is one of the greatest businesses I have dealt with in the forty years I have lived in San Clemente. The facilities are clean and well maintained. I moved after 36 years in my house and dreaded getting a storage unit but as soon as I worked with Stephanie Thom (who works in their front office) I knew it would be a seamless and actually pleasant experience. Their prices are very reasonable and you can even leave a key in their office in case you lose yours! Stephanie helped me decide which size unit I needed and assisted with every step of the way including agreeing to meet the truck/driver that was moving my items so I would not have to be there when they delivered. You really can't beat that kind of service. Their website gives excellent tips on packing, moving and storing items as well. I look forward to doing business with them and telling everyone I know! read more
