Capo Beach American Mini Storage has played a big role in my journey. Who else could be trusted with all my worldly possessions while I put it all in 2 units to go take care of a sick family member far away for 2 years? I have used storage units in a number of places but American Mini Storage has been the friendliest and most professional and economical, convenient service of all. I recommend the Capo Beach location on Victoria to anyone needing a clean safe storage area for your valuable material goods. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. And though I can easily pay over the phone or auto pay , I prefer to physically walk in to say hello to everyone each month. If you need extra Storage space check American Mini Storage out. read more

our family has used American Mini Storage since the 90's. We have never, I mean we never had a problem. We kept 4 units at one time. 3 that we kept our business files and supplies in for over 30 years. The one now is holiday and miscellaneous items. Access has never been a problem read more

This is the cleanest storage unit I have experienced. A hidden GEM. Everything is easy to get to and the Staff is always helpful. I have been here for 4 years. Highly recommend. Prices are very reasonable probably because no access after 6 pm. So no staff which I am sure keeps the prices down. Just have to plan your time. read more

Great facility. Security is good and easy access for me. They are reasonably priced which i appreciate. Hours could be better, since theyre not open holidays and you cant get gate access past 5:45, but i imagine that helps with security as well read more

I've stored a vehicle at this location for the past five years. During this time I have found the staff, both in the office and in the yard, to be friendly, helpful and professional. In fact I am on the waiting list to add my motorhome to this location. The prices are competitive, the facility is safe and clean and I would not hesitate to recommend American Mini Storage to anyone needing a storage location. read more

American Mini Storage is a great! Reasonably priced, easy access to my unit and very safe & secure! Highly recommend!

Nice inside storage space. Kept dry and safe. Good security and friendly office staff. OK price, with reasonable price increases over time. My only complaint -- no lighting inside the storage spaces, and permission was denied to use the hall electrical plugs to bring in a light in the space while I'm actually inside the space. Apparently, flashlights only. read more

This place is great! The staff is wonderful. Our little trailer has been so happy stored here! We even got a call when they thought there was a problem with my trailer because I left an outside vent off overnight - I was doing a little A/C work inside. They thought someone was messing with my trailer. Great service and the place is clean, secure - we love it! Don't forget the chocolates in the office..... Thanks, Glen read more

I have had a storage unit here for at least 25 years and have been satisfied and happy for the most part. A couple of years ago I arrived to find a new lock on my unit. I reported it to the office and they gave me a new lock. The office asked me to look and see if anything was missing. On the surface it appeared as if nothing was taken however this year in rearranging our unit we found that my wife's Barbie collection was taken. The thieves were smart- they took all the dolls and left only the boxes! Very disheartening. Makes me wonder how secure our unit is! Happy New Year. read more

I love American Mini Storage. The staff that runs the facility is always kind and helpful. The facility is always spotless. The Warehouses are cool ( as far as temperature) and clean. I have never experienced any problems and I feel super secure that my belongings are locked up and no one can tamper with my storage. 5 stars all the way ! read more

This facility has been great for me. Clean, well cared for and the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Kudos to American Mini Storage! read more

I have used this storage space for almost 13 years. It is well maintained, secure, and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hours of operation, especially around holidays, are a little inconvenient as is the carts' accessibility (which are in pretty bad shape). That, along with some dampness in my unit after a megastorm, is the only reason why I'm not giving it a 5-star rating. But, I am still very satisfied with this facility. read more

Friendly good price especially during hard times.

I have been a non-interuped customer at American Mini Storage Capo Beach for twenty years and have only the best review to give them There staff is prompt, polite, clean, and quick to help when asked. They keep the grounds clean and neat inside and out. I honestly can say that they are the very best place I know of to store your belongings. I feel blessed to be there and feel secure and have peace of mind. Please give them a chance to do for you what they have done for me. Sincerely, Ray Patnoe read more

Clean and great storage units but rude people. The lady at the front desk is very type A and just not friendly.

I have had items in storage here for 10+ years. I have never had any problems. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have increased the fee over the 10 years, but I suppose this is to be expected. I wish they had more and better carts available in my storage area. Overall I think it's a pretty good facility. Surf read more

I needed a last minute storage unit and was shopping around the San Juan, Capo Beach area and found American Mini Storage had a unit and was less expensive than everywhere else I looked, but more importantly Victoria and Brian were so helpful and went above and beyond to get the unit ready for me and even loaned me a lock because I had left mine in my car at Uhaul when I picked up my truck. It is so nice to find a business that has such great customer service! Thank you both for your help. read more

We have two storage units with furniture and boxes of household items. Based on my experience with other storage facilities, I know that we as customers need to try to prevent damage from rodents, moisture, etc. Being close to the coast line of southern California means damp air and therefore mold. I keep most items in airtight plastic boxes and large heavy airtight bags. That being said, we have had very good experiences at this facility. read more

This storage facility is very easy to access. They have a wonderful, helpful staff. Great hours to access your unit. The property is very well maintained. Good security. The units are easy to get to, plenty of carts to utilize to move your items in and out of storage. I would highly recommend this facility for all your storage needs. read more

I have been asked a few times by American Mini Storage to write a review. In mid March I received a notice of a rent increase. At this time of so much hardship why are they raising the rent? A lot of people are going to have problems paying the existing rent. Maybe they could consider lowering it during these hard times? read more

Very friendly and professional! Clean well run facility!

Terrible !!!! I kept my stuff there for four months. The dust and mold problem is horrible. All of my antique wood furniture came out with a greenish blue mold and mounds of dust, I even covered my stuff. Don't use this place!!!! The mold is in the air and everywhere read more

I had a storage unit at American Mini Storage for 4 years! They gave a great "move-in" deal, but their regular monthly rate was still the best rate I found anywhere! The facility was always perfectly clean and taken care of. I kept looking for another storage unit closer to my new place in Huntington Beach, but for 4 whole years I never found one with a better price. Today, I finally removed the last of my storage and vacated. They were so friendly, always so professional, I'm actually kind of sad to go. :-) I highly recommend this small, friendly, family style storage faculty to everyone! read more

Fuck this place - my storage fee's went up from $95 a month to $170 a month in the past few years due to the new ownership. All that they care about is the $$$. I've been a loyal customer and it is all about the new corporation, and they will not even tell you how to get in touch with them if you've an issue. STAY AWAY!! read more

I would highly recommend American Mini Storage in Capo Beach. The facility is clean, secure and you couldn't ask for a better team to oversee your storage unit. Christine is an awesome manager and you do not have to worry about your storage. Our family has had several storage units for years there and I would not even consider any other facility. The location is ideal and the rates are comparable. So nice to see friendly faces from Christine, Terry and the staff. Nice to know they truly care about running a top notch business.
