Hands down the best movers I have ever hired! Our move went smooth as ice ! Hunter and his team were on top of the communication- called to confirm the day before , called when they were on their way, and called on arrival. Three young men in their 20's moved my two bedroom apartment to a two story house in just about three hours. All three were very well mannered, worked hard, and were very respectful with all of our things. Not a single thing was broken, no walls were scratched, and we are happy customers. I've experienced my fair share of weirdo movers in the past - and it was so refreshing to have honest, normal, hard working young men and a drama- free move. Disappointed I don't want write negative reviews, but I want to warn you about this company. My friend recommended other moving companies, but I looked up on Yelp Review and chose Hunter. I paid $50 Deposit in August. I scheduled professional carpet cleaning a day before the move date. So I requested the owner, Hunter to bring floor protection Runners. Hunter confirmed that he will provide protect runners by text. Confirmation text from Hunter "Sorry for the late response. Yes we can do runners and 8am is perfect. Semper Fi, Hunter " Request 3person $140hour Deposit$50 by phone charge 8/22/19 09:40am rcvd by Email. 2pick-up 1 Drop-off Date: 10/1/19 Tuesday Request time: 9am Hours Total 6.25 hours (one hour half Lunch break ) $50 Deposit by Card receipt by mail $875 +$30tip paid by check. No receipt!!!! $40cashTip Paid Total $995 On the moving date, three employees showed up without bringing runners. They said Hunter didn't mention anything about protect runners. They didn't have shoe covers either. The professionally cleaned carpet was so dirty and there were shoe marks everywhere! One of the employees called Hunter to confirm if he knew about protect runners. Apparentl, Hunter forgot to tell his employees to bring the protect runners. He offered his company will clean carpet for free after he is back from two week vacation. We agreed to schedule carpet cleaning on 10/14. The check that I paid to Hunter was cashed in on 10/2. Thought we requested a receipt, Hunter never provided the receipt. After waiting for the two weeks, I called and texted Hunter to confirm if he is cleaning the dirty carpet as he promised. Reached out to Hunter on Yelp and got a response fairly quickly. He was very helpful and provided a very detailed overview on what to expect. Quoted a fair price and was very flexible around my schedule. The movers (2 individuals) arrived on time. All said and done, took them a little shy of 4 hrs to move all my stuff. I had a fantastic moving experience with Hunter, Anthony and Michael. They were very deliberate and moved everything with care, which is different than most other movers I have used in the past. Hunter, a young Marine Corps veteran, obviously instills the importance of "Attention to Detail" in his crews. They were personable and incredibly respectful and actually made the moving experience pleasant. Nightmare Movers - Avoid! Hired these guys to load a moving container. They arrived late, without any moving equipment - no dollies, moving straps etc. Only 2 of 3 showed up. We had to buy lift forks so they could move our piano. When we arrived to unpack at our moving location, so many things were damaged due to insufficient protection and poor packing. Major items damaged included our fridge freezer (dented), dining chairs, outside chairs, kitchen trash can, bbq, etc. Nightmare movers - find professionals! Would not recommend them. read more
