They are efficient, careful, polite and do not need guidance. We simply discussed the details at the beginning of the day and I was free to let them work and for me to work. I had limited time, so getting an extra day to take care of the last minute things one needs to take care of before moving was invaluable. My furniture and apartment were treated with respect and the utmost care. They packed up my apartment with care and moved it to the new place with no issues. We moved from a 3,000 square ft. home into an 1100 sq ft. apartment on June 24, 2021. Our experience could not have been better. Four men arrived on time with 2 trucks - one going to our rented storage unit, and one going to our apartment. Dixon movers wrapped each piece of furniture with alacrity and care, not only to protect the surface, but also to assure that items in drawers would not be lost. Then, they covered the furniture in blankets to assure no broken glass or scratches. In addition, the price was very affordable. Melissa came to my house twice, as we changed some aspects of our move and the furniture. Finally, we mistakenly put an important box in storage, that was meant to come with us to the apartment. Gary Dixon himself, met us at the storage unit on a Saturday morning, and helped remove the extremely carefully placed boxes and furniture. He recalled where the numbered boxes were, and we found our important box within 40 minutes. We're very grateful, and we highly recommend Dixon Movers, whether you're moving near or long distance. read more
