First, there was none of the 'you can't get your stuff' with ARS. They unloaded, made sure everything was cool, and then I paid them. They were very careful, wrapping things I'd already wrapped for extra protection. No walls were scratched, nothing was broken. They ran late for loading, but made up for it by bringing twice as many people at no extra charge. Very cool of them. They did underestimate the work hours (3 vs actual 7), but they were still less than half what some other national brands cost, so I felt like I got a great deal. If you need a local mover choose Albert's, you won't be sorry. Their initial quote was exactly the same as my final bill. They took care to disassemble and reassemble furniture, wrap TVs in cardboard to ensure they aren't scratched or broken and helped determine the room set up while unpacking. They use techniques that I've never seen before to move lots of smaller boxes and items quickly and given how efficient they were, we still had more time on the clock for the minimum labor charge so they unpacked our cars and helped with setting up some of the larger, heavier items that were outside of our estimate. They were on time, had great communication and took care of our property as if it was their own. All this and they had the lowest priced quote and final charge. Don't listen to the scare tactics of others who claim original estimates are low to get the business then it's increased by hundreds of dollars or even double. I moved 6 days ago... While nothing was broken. I was charged over 5k for moving 30 miles. I needed a lot of packing but there was also a lot we were getting rid of and asked them not to pack. The team wasted time lacking those items. They also wrapped a half used bar of soap. I had a candy dish full of matches which they proceeded to remove the matches put in a bag and then wrap the dish when they could've easily just wrapped the dish full of matches. Of course this wastes more time space in the box as well as supplies... Not to mention time loading the extra boxes they used into the truck and out of the truck. I also had all of my necklaces hanging simply on a towel bar that hangs over the door... It would have been very easy to remove the towel bar and hand it to me or transport it the way it was however they took all the necklaces off and put them in one giant Ziploc bag resulting in a jumbled mess and tons of ruined expensive necklaces... To which I am still trying to untangle. They literally wrapped empty boxes and put them into bigger boxes. Although I don't yet see anything broken... This team uses absolutely zero common sense. One of the worst parts though is because of this inefficiency so many things that were of importance were left behind. Which I still have to go back and get. When I reached out to josh he was combative and full of excuses. Claiming it was appropriate to wrap a half used bar of soap individually. I would not recommend this team. read more

Alberts moving company was really great! We had Chris and a team of 3 other guys. They worked their bums off to get our 2nd story apartment items to our new home. They worked really hard to make sure nothing got damaged and we didn't pay any crazy fees for extra packaging material. My only suggestion is to make sure all your furniture and TVs are either wrapped in blankets or boxed up before the team comes out. Otherwise this was an amazing experience compared to the overpriced 2 men and a truck that broke half our stuff last time. Will deff use Alberts again! read more
