I would not trust this company with my belongings. I just witnessed one of their drivers (same license plate that another reviewer made a comment on) driving recklessly on the turnpike going northbound before exiting off at the Okeechobee exit. He cut people off, tail gated a white tesla, weaved in and out of traffic, accelerated as to not let people in... just an overall unsafe driver and person. I have moved several times over the years, including overseas, interstate and locally. THIS IS THE WORST PACKING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. Based on other reviews, the only thing I agree with is that Terry, the lady who first meets with you and gives the estimate, was very nice and I trusted her completely. But I don't think she really knows what goes on during the packing. They arrived a day late due to weather conditions, which was understandable. The gentleman in charge Cliff, was the rudest person I had to deal with. The first thing he said when I asked about them not showing up the day before was, I don't need to be here I can leave. AND, all of this will never fit in a 12' Pod. I explained it was a16' Pod. During the packing, if I mentioned something that hadn't been packed yet, his reply would be "where do you want me to put it? There's not enough space." Chris packing the kitchen Packed 80% of the kitchen and moved on leaving all my dishes behind. In the bathroom I carefully put items I personally needed to travel with on the right counter and items to for them to pack on the left. Anthony the packer confirmed these instructions but when I went back to check, everything had been packed including all my toiletries and jewelry. No toothbrush, hair brush, etc. I have 6 dining chairs, they packed 3 and said no more would fit. I said it had to be at least 4 or 0. No luck - I ended up putting the 4th in my car. I did not do the estimate, Terry did. She came to the house and looked at everything. For Eg: she estimated 7 dish-packs for the kitchen. There were more than 15. Her estimate DOES NOT equal the way they pack. These guys stretch 1 box into 4 boxes. They'll put 2 items in a box and STUFF IT full of paper so if my things would use 12 boxes I ended up with 20 - which I why I did NOT have enough space in the Pod. Bottom line is there were enough boxes and an office chair left in the house that I had to go out and rent a 5'x10' unit to store it. Now the quote to ship the rest to NV is $2500. During the packing when I called Terry about the space she estimated her response was send it to Goodwill. And they damaged my antique Chinese lacquered occasional table. It was not wrapped and protected and wedged into the corner of the Pod. When I call Cliff and showed him the damage his response was "well, you shouldn't have opened the door of the Pod". I said "and if it had been wrapped it would not have been damaged". This will need to be repaired. LOUSY LOUSY JOB. They charged by the piece - NOT A FLAT RATE. Amazing moving operation! I moved a 3 bedroom household in about five hours with this very efficient company. The actual move cost less than their estimate which was 1/2 what I'd been quoted by a different mover. Everything was moved carefully; not a scratch or anything broken or damaged. They were a bit late showing up and I was worried but they made up the time and than some! read more

Dependable pro was significantly cheaper than competition. I realized that my stuff wasn't worth a million dollars so if I suffered a little damage OK. Was a little skeptical but... They spent lots of time packing and loading and the same at the other end. Picked up and offloaded as scheduled and NO damage to anything . Very happy with them. read more

Watch out for these guys. They we're moving in a new neighbor and parked their truck blocking handicap parking. We told them our 90 yr old parents needed to move their car to go to the airport in 2 hours. The two guys we talked to were very nice and said it was their last load and they'd be gone in 1/2 hour. When we came out almost 2 hours later, the truck was still parked right where it had been and was blocking everyone. The guys had disappeared. Neighbors said they hadn't seen them come or go in over an hour. We called the company and told them the situation and then we waited. Then starting to panic that we'd be late for the airport, we searched every floor of the apartment building calling out. At that time the company was calling their cell phones but they weren't answering. A half hour later two guys that we hadn't see the first time came out super angry. They yelled at my husband "What the f$&@'s your problem?!" One guy walked threateningly right at my husband and I called out no! I've got you on video. Then we see the guys just laughing, taking their sweet time to move the truck. They thought it was hilarious. What was also concerning is they jammed something in the security gate and left leaving tenants unprotected. We never got an apology from the company. read more

I have known Terry and Chris and Dependable Pro for 15 years now. I have used them about 7 times over the years. They have moved my family - mother, brother, friends. Not once was there a problem issue or concern. Highly recommended. My most recent move was out of state; so not sure I'll have the pleasure of working with them again. read more

I had total satisfaction with the moving company. The booking agent juggled and changed my date often to my request. In addition, the movers brought heavy furniture upstairs with no complaints. Everything came without being broken. I would recommend the company to move to or from Florida. read more

Called him for a quote on a small move. Told me it would be $375. Then he got a call from the office and said he could do it on the day that I wanted and for $325 and I can decide later. When I called him the next day to book him, he said that he couldn't do it for the price that HE quoted me and the day wasn't available. Very shady. Needless to say, I didn't use him. I would stay away! Company should be Undependable-Pro. I'd advise to stay away and look for someone else. I'd give zero stars if I could. read more

You're ONLY as good as your employees and your employees represent YOUR BUSINESS when they are out doing YOUR work. Dependable Movers, Terry, came highly recommended. Move us out of our apartment in Aventura and we used their storage facility for one year and 4 months, form March 2017-June 2018. When they delivered our items (2 storage units of our things and insurance ), an expensive Bar Cabinet was severely damaged. We were told that the Cabinet would be repaired to look like new. That was in June 2018. We never heard from Terry or anyone else. Called several times. Finally she called back and offered $350.00. In addition an expensive floor lamp was never delivered to us. She offered $40.00. I told her in no uncertain terms that we would not accept her offer. She said she would get back to me. Had to call her again after she did not respond to my texts. She then said she would pay for the replacement. When I sent the bill, she refused to pay and now wants to repair Cabinet. Very dishonest. I am consulting an attorney. read more

This is an update to my previous review. I only gave Dependable Pro Movers 4 * initially because I wanted to see if the items would be delivered in good condition. Dependable Pro Movers delivered my boxes yesterday and everything arrived in perfect condition. They are extremely professional. After all the packed boxes were emptied, all the paper, cartons etc. was removed from the building. The place was left immaculate. Additionally Terry could not be nicer and more helpful. I forgot to ask her to send the insurance to my building and she went out of her way to ensure that the document would arrive by the next morning so that the men could bring the boxes into the building. These guys have moved me 3 times. I was referred by a coworker who used them. The business is family run and the lady taking the requests over the phone, Terry is super nice and friendly. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! I have moved 7 times in 4 years due to corporate work relocation and this is the worst moving experience I have ever had. Problems included: 1. Not arriving on-time 2. Attitude from all employees 3. No gratitude from tipping 4. Unprofessional packing 5. Terrible customer service 6. A broken TV - which the refuse to replace 7. Missing items - which they refuse to replace 8. Worst move ever. I hate doing negative reviews, but I must warn anyone considering this company, who was recommended by my listing agent. They showed up a day early, 5 people, no one was a family member, swarmed through the house to pack, but didn't communicate my answers with each other. So things that were packed were not supposed to be & vice-versa. My move was only contents and one piece of furniture going into storage. The foreman, Charles, was the most nasty of the men, and kept saying "I'm gonna call Terry and tell her I don't want to come back here tomorrow." When I asked that the boxes be faced front in the cubicle so that I could see the content labels, I was told that it slows them down to do that. I asked that a glass painting be placed away from the front pull up door, so I don't have to worry about it falling when I open the door. I was answered with a snide: 'Do you want to do my job?' They brought in a handtruck of stacked boxes, and one said to the other: " 'She' packed those, so you can just push them in there." Then, my one piece of furniture, a leather sectional, was completely moved and barreled down the storage corridor without any wrapping, and placed stacked in the cubicle. There's so much more, cigarette butts in front of the driveway, staredowns, and forgotten pieces. To their credit, the owner came out the next day to finish, but forgot to tell me to bring a check to the cubicle, as payment was due immediately and CC was +3%.
