I used Top Notch Movers for a storage and local move in Boynton Beach and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Several items were damaged or missing, including a king bed, a queen mattress, a dining table base and arm chairs. At first they let me know they were going to resolve the issue but months went by and communication from the company was inconsistent and delayed. They never provided me with a claims process or resolution. Storage charges were also erroneously billed for months after services ended. Despite filing complaints with FDACS, the company has not fully addressed the damages, and I am now pursuing small claims court for reimbursement. I do not recommend Top Notch Movers based on my experience. read more

I scheduled a move, and even paid a deposit and they never showed!!! I literally called them, they had no recollection of the appointment even though we had texts and receipt for payment. They finally reimbursed us after an argument, and luckily we were able to find other movers day of, at a cheaper cost! The company was called Established movers (something like that). This company moved me from one local city in South Florida to another in June 2021. Aside from dealing with profanity, observing two of the movers discuss a drug transaction on their cellphones, and having to clean up urine sprayed all over my brand new toilet seat from allowing one of them to use the restroom, some damages occurred to several pieces of furniture which I addressed in a claim sent to their third-party vendor, Moving Claims.net. Several months went by and I did not hear any regarding my claim. After I followed up nine months later, Moving Claims advised the company was willing to pay me a designated amount for the damages, which I accepted. 14 months later and I still have not received said payment/ I have reached out directly to the company and continue to be referred back to Moving Claims to resubmit a claim; however, I am more than likely outside the scope to do so again and should not have to as I was advised I would receive payment. In my opinion, the movers are not professional and their guarantee to address your claims is false advertisement. I would not recommend anyone to use this company. However, if I ever do receive payment which is owed to me, I would gladly update this review to indicate that the company as a whole followed through on their advertised guarantee. read more

I hired Top Notch movers to move the contents of my home to a storage unit about a mile away. They broke two pieces of antique furniture, and I filed a claim with their third-party insurance company. After several months of not hearing from them, they told me that Top Notch movers is not willing to pay for the damages. They piled everything on top of each other in the storage unit. My beautiful antique rolltop desk was turned on its side during the move and destroyed. My antique table was broken because of the way they stacked it in the storage unit. I thought I had hired professional movers and the explanation I received is they are new employees. Maybe new employees should be trained properly! read more

I used Top notch movers for an interstate move. They gave me a quote over the phone and when I asked them that I might have a few boxes extra, the person told me that I have very little stuff and wouldn't charge me extra. But when I movers came to the apartment they were asking more to take TV and 2 boxes extra which I agreed in the end. But once my stuff reached Denver, The driver asked me if a semi-truck will fit near my apartment and told me that I need to pay $450 extra if they bring the stuff to my apartment which I ended up paying. In the end, I ended up paying almost $600 more than the initial quote. Some of my furniture was broken and when I contacted them they agreed to pay me $50 but they asked me sign a document that would make me give away all the rights including the right to post a review. Please stay away from them. read more

When I move its organized, I hire professionals and get on with the painful task of moving. This time, it was not organized, too much family involved and I found a nightmare waiting for me. I made a call to Top Notch Movers and was immediately connected to this kind gentleman named James. He was so easy to work with and I knew immediately I was in good hands. As it turns out, I was in FANTASTIC hands. What was realized is the day of the move we weren't ready to move. One call to James was all it took to rearrange a few moves and we were back on the schedule with packing help. This was no small feat but an example of amazing customer service and care during a chaotic time. James, Francine, thank you so much for taking such good care of us. I've only moved a couple of times before and both were nightmares. Top Notch is the best moving experience you could dream of having. Francine is super nice and the crews on the truck were some of the nicest people I e ever dealt with. Young, polite and very fast and still careful. My personal experience with this company was very good. The hourly estimate they provided over the phone (using only a description and itemization of the contents being moved) was spot on. The movers completed the job in the exact amount of time estimated. I dealt with Andriy to schedule the move. He was courteous, professional and followed up at each juncture of the process from from pricing, confirmation to Certificate of insurance. The two movers on the job were nice guys and worked quickly. I would highly recommend using this company. Moving is a difficult business because people tend to underestimate what they need which typically results in an unexpected outcome. Stuff is going to get broken on occasion . . This is our second time moving with Top Notch. I used them 2 years ago and was pleased. Second time around the crew of 3 was even better! All crew members always speak English, a tough thing to find in South Florida sometimes. Each one of them shook mine and my BF's hand with a proper Intro, built great rapport before even starting. They acted and looked like professionals. They are upfront with prices, and add on fees before they start packing. At first I was very overwhelmed with the thought of moving my daughters house and how it would be handled by the movers because these were not my items. My search began with multiple calls from multiple people after putting the search in home advisor. I just want to say we made the right choice choosing Top Notch. Joseph was so helpful with getting us a quote and not overwhelming us with all the extra charges that can accrue. The quote matched the payment almost to the T. They show up on time, make my life easy by doing all the lifting up and down the stairs, the price is always great and they are quick and don't unnecessarily stretch out the hours, or supplies. This was my first time hiring movers. Top notch really lives up to their name. From the start they were great. I spoke to Tom first or make the arrangements and he gave me a very fair price. The corresponded with me via email. Any questions I had he was there to answer. My movers were punctual, friendly and very professional. We had Jr. and Pasquale from the team move us from Boynton to Boca. They provided free wardrobe boxes as need and they even finished a bit early. That saved hour gets automatically refunded to the card! I can't say enough good things about this company and their staff. I will definitely hire again and support them by any means possible.
