Yes, this time we had a whole house to move with furniture and many boxes! We got several estimates for packing and moving. We Move on Demand was not only recommended by a friend, but they came in with the lowest estimate....by far. We paid a great price for both packing and moving. It took 2 guys a whole day to pack us up. Only one of them spoke English and was able to communicate with us and that was fine. Both guys were prompt, polite and honest. They found a bag of money that my 11 year old son lost several month ago and returned it. The next day was moving day! We actually needed four guys to move all of our stuff. Even Eduardo (the owner/manager?) was on site in the morning to make sure everything was going well. He was also there to make sure the appropriate paper work was signed and the payment was complete. We ended up having to pay for over time. Yes, I know..... I think we have way too much "stuff" too! Bottom line....our furniture and "stuff" got to our new house safely. So far I have not seen any broken items. The staff was very easy to deal with. I would say I would use them again but hopefully I will not be moving again for a very long time!!!

They were very reasonably priced (per hour rate) with two movers and a truck. I arranged to meet them at the pickup location at 9am. For whatever reason, they showed up at 8am as I was driving to the pickup location so I had to turn around to get back to my place in time to open the door. The move went well. I asked them to help with moving a small cabinet to the garage since they were paid by the hour; Enrigue was helpful but the second guy refused. It's what it is. Overall, a good deal except the need to improve the communication the next time around.

Journey Movers did an outstanding job moving my family from Boca Raton to St. Augustine, all in one…read moreday! The crew was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient from start to finish. They carefully disassembled our furniture early in the morning, loaded everything, drove the four hours to St. Augustine, and then reassembled everything that evening. Thanks to their hard work, we were able to sleep in our own beds in our new home that very same night. In the days leading up to the move, Jim Fischer was fantastic. He answered all of my questions quickly, was responsive throughout the process, and helped put my mind at ease during what can be a stressful time. My father owned Mayflower Moving & Storage for many years, so I grew up around the moving industry and have very high standards when it comes to movers. Journey Movers exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and customer service were exceptional. They handled our belongings with care and made what could have been a very stressful move feel seamless. I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible job they did. I would absolutely recommend Journey Movers to anyone planning a move, and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Thank you for a job well done!

I noticed nothing but great reviews so I booked the service. Two movers and a beat up white moving truck shows up. To my horror, half way through the move, as we get closer to move heavier furnishings like dressers, I noticed that the truck is missing the ramp, even though it had the space for it. Bottom of the dressers got scratched moving them in with me having to help otherwise it would have been impossible and unloading them caused heavy dresser to fall close to the ground, chipping the corners. When the time came to pay the zelle info given had nothing to do with the name of the company advertised so I believe it may be a broker for local labor disguised as a loving company. Unprepared and awfully under equipped.

Ironically the day they arrived, we were informed by another moving company that we contracted to do a long distance move with the remainder of the furniture that they were canceling us. This was on Friday before Labor Day with the move scheduled for Tuesday. Seth and Khalil were amazing. They were professional. They knew what they were doing, they took great care in the handling and wrapping our furniture. They were efficient and pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend this company and this team. We hired them on the spot to return two days later to pack the remainder of our furniture, which would be placed in a pod to be sent up north. They saved the day! This move could have been an utter disaster. The fact that Patriot was able to pick up the ball when the other company cancelled us was a blessing. We did not lose any timing thanks to, Seth and Khalil! Highly recommend, and would hire them again in an instant. Almost forgot to mention, their pricing was competitive, and their service outstanding.

If you're like me, you dread moving, the entire process of packing and unpacking can be unsettling,…read morebut for me, who tends to try and get the best deal (financial element), AND the best service, just identifying the "right" company can create a good amount of stress. There are lots of small moving companies which advertise in our area, so how does one find a reliable, cost effective company. And reliability is critical, especially in our South Florida paradise, where so many small businesses seem to blow you off, if they feel like doing so. So, when purchasing packing supplies at Boca Box on Dixie Highway in East Boca (see Yelp listing and reviews), I asked Bill, the owner, for a recommendation. Bill is a straight-up guy, and never recommends anything or anyone if he hasn't tried the product or service, and can vouch for it. Bill indicated that he had recommended ICON to several people, and no one had complained. Hmm, I still had my concerns. Well, I was under the gun, I had to have a move completed by month end (in 3 days), and the logistics of getting one apartment packed up and moved, and the receiving apartment cleared out to receive the furniture was daunting, even for a fierce guy like myself. I called ICON, and the owner SAM answered, and after explaining my time crunch, he arranged the move for Sunday 9 AM, just 2 days away. I kept asking him if he was certain his guys would show up (guys working Sunday morning in South Florida? Really?), and he reassured me that they would. I felt better after he explained the costs associated with the move, the services he would provide, and when I received both a text and email with a proposal delineated in less than 5 minutes after we spoke, I was sold. The move could not have gone smoother. The crew of 3 guys actually showed up 15 minutes early, after calling 30 minutes before arrival to confirm that they were on the way (how many times have you heard "on the way", and no one shows for another 2 hours?) They used shrink wrap to protect all furniture, padded blankets when needed, and carefully moved large framed artwork. [See all my pics] One guy was responsible for taking apart the queen sized bed frame, and wrapping the mattress and box spring in special protective bags. They clearly were in sync with each other, and did not miss a beat. They were using some real muscle and didn't seem to be phased by the 95 degree heat and humidly. At the receiving end, they efficiently placed the furniture in the designated rooms, set up the headboard and frame, mattress and boxspring, and removed any waste. SAM, ICON's owner, showed up toward the end, to do a personal walk-through and inspection to ensure that everything was acceptable to me. His final price was actually lower than his estimate, and I could not have been happier. If you ever need a small professional moving company, and if you are also in a time crunch, look no further than this locally owned company. If your experience is like mine, you'll be pleased and unstressed.
