My husband and I recently hired We Move On Demand to move some large furniture out of our old home to our new one. Right from the start the communication process was very easy and Eduardo was even flexible when I needed to have the movers come to the 1st house at a later time in the day. 2 movers and a truck met my husband on that day. My husband said they were very professional and took great care to move all the items making sure to professionally wrap each piece before they moved it into the truck. He said while taking thier time to be careful they also worked very quickly and didn't waste any time. I would highly recommend We Move On Demand. We used 'We Move On Demand' to move some small furniture from another house to our place; all within the city borders. They were very reasonably priced (per hour rate) with two movers and a truck. I arranged to meet them at the pickup location at 9am. For whatever reason, they showed up at 8am as I was driving to the pickup location so I had to turn around to get back to my place in time to open the door. The move went well. I asked them to help with moving a small cabinet to the garage since they were paid by the hour; Enrigue was helpful but the second guy refused. It's what it is. Overall, a good deal except the need to improve the communication the next time around. read more

We were recommended to Eduardo by our realtor. He came to the house, gave us a fair price and moved our items into storage. All of the move to and from storage into our new home in Delray Beach appeared to go well. His price was fair and his workers appeared diligent. Except two expensive items were missing, A valuable painting and a large ceramic vase for outdoor planting, We contacted Eduardo only to be ignored for two weeks. He finally answered and told us he was putting in a claim to his insurance carrier for our items. Our loss was in excess of $1,000.00. No response, no phone call, no reimbursement. I continue to find items that are missing as I settle into the house. Disappointing to say the least. We are contacting our realtor in Ibis, West Palm to inform him not to recommend this service. This company was recommended to me by a satisfied customer. I requested a quote and Eduardo called me pretty quickly and asked questions and said he would work up a quote and email it to me. He read back my email address to make sure he had it right. I didn't receive any quote that day so I texted the next day to follow up. He apologized for the delay and said he would check on it when he got back to the office. I have never heard back. read more

We had a great experience with We Move On Demand. Its clear that the owner Eduardo runs a great business as he provided the estimate, was on sight during the move, and followed through on on our original agreement. We also had some challenging furniture pieces to dissemble / reassemble and they did the job quickly and flawlessly. There were a couple of small damages that I wish they would have admitted to, but we were able to overlook that because of great job they did overall. We contacted Move On Demand to move us from a townhouse located in Plantation, Florida to a new residence located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida in September of last year based on reviews on Angi's, also known as Angi's List, which rated it high. We arranged to meet with the Owner Eduardo Cunha who responded and gave us a written quote Owner Cunha advised that his movers would wrap each piece of Art and Furniture and treat it like their own. After meeting with Owner Cunha, we decided to hire his company and scheduled for his company to move us on October 30th, 2022. On October 30th, 2022 his men, which consisted of a four man team advised us that they were not told about moving the art collection and started arguing with my wife and I, but finally relented. The movers did not treat our furniture or packed boxes with care. The movers did not wrap the pieces of art as promised, but put them back to back in one large box. In addition, when I checked on my wife's jewelry stand, I found the Supervisor wrapping the Jewelry stand with packing pads, and carrying it out to his truck. Prior to departing the townhouse, I checked the townhouse to make sure everything had been moved. Upon arrival the movers unloaded their truck. An examination of our furniture revealed that two tables had been damaged and were scratched up, one wall unit base had been damaged and several picture frames had been damaged. The supervisor advised me to take photographs of the damaged furniture and art work and send them to Owner Cunha's cell phone, and that arrangements would be made to repair the damage. After the movers departed, my wife discovered two pieces of jewelry missing, which consisted of a 14k whale tail with a solid gold nugget and a 14k gold 20 inch. necklace were stolen. I addition, I discovered that a tool box which had been in the garage was also missing. Contact was made with owner Cunha, who was forwarded photographs of all the damage to both the furniture and the art collection, which fell on deaf ears and our phone calls to the owner went unanswered. A police report was later filed with the Plantation Police Department. if anyone is considering hiring this moving company, I would think twice. read more

I don't think anyone likes moving. I guess I am lucky. I have not had to move very often. This is actually the first time I have had to even move with furniture! Yes, this time we had a whole house to move with furniture and many boxes! We got several estimates for packing and moving. We Move on Demand was not only recommended by a friend, but they came in with the lowest estimate....by far. We paid a great price for both packing and moving. It took 2 guys a whole day to pack us up. Only one of them spoke English and was able to communicate with us and that was fine. Both guys were prompt, polite and honest. They found a bag of money that my 11 year old son lost several month ago and returned it. The next day was moving day! We actually needed four guys to move all of our stuff. Even Eduardo (the owner/manager?) was on site in the morning to make sure everything was going well. He was also there to make sure the appropriate paper work was signed and the payment was complete. We ended up having to pay for over time. Yes, I know..... I think we have way too much "stuff" too! Bottom line....our furniture and "stuff" got to our new house safely. So far I have not seen any broken items. The staff was very easy to deal with. I would say I would use them again but hopefully I will not be moving again for a very long time!!! read more

I would not recommend this company if you're looking for a stress free, professional move. We booked them to move us from a storage bin and a few rooms of a house. They quoted us $750 for two guys at five hours. I felt that two men for that move wasn't enough, but I trusted that they knew what they were doing. The day before the move my wife gets a phone call from them asking us if we had a full or half full storage unit. My wife told them it was filled from top to bottom. They acted as if this was the first time they heard about this, even though when my wife initially reached out to them for a quote, she said the unit was full. So they told us it would now be $950 for three men for six hours. Instead of admitting their error and honoring the price we were originally quoted, they tacked on $200 more. We felt like this was a classic case of bait and switch on their part to get more money. The day of the move comes and we meet Tony and two of his other guys at our storage bin. The two gentlemen that were there did not speak English and when we would tell them something they would look at us and smile. They loaded the truck and it went smoothly. They were done in about an hour and forty five minutes. We went to the house where all we had was two beds, a dresser, a tv console and boxes. They had to reload the truck while at the house. Once they finished at the house they left to go have lunch and they said they would meet us at our new place. After they left we noticed they forgot the frame to one of our beds and called and asked them to return for it. They didn't want to come back because they said they were too far away, even though they'd just left. They showed up to the new place and this is where the language barrier became an issue. We told them to put the boxes in the rooms according to the labels. Well instead of doing that. They just piled boxes into the front room. When that was filled they stuffed what was left in the garage. They didn't put my daughter's bed back together correctly. They were supposed to move a fridge that was in the kitchen to the garage. They didn't shut off the water line correctly and water sprayed on the walls and our floors. Instead of helping, they just reconnected the line and walked away. We had no towels and had to use our quilts and blankets to clean up. We had to call a handyman friend of ours to detach the water line from the old fridge. Our friend also removed the doors from the refrigerator we were putting into the kitchen because the movers couldn't get it through the door and they said it was "their policy not to remove doors." Finally, they finished and Tony added up everything for the bill. He told us we added the storage unit the day of the move, even though we'd twice made the company aware of the storage unit. Tony sat down with us once they were done to discuss the bill. On his paperwork it said we had booked three guys for five hours, so he said we had to pay an extra $125 dollars an hour for overtime because they were there six and a half hours minus the half hour they took for lunch, even though Eduardo told my wife we were booked for six hours the day before th We put a stop payment on the check because we felt that since we were quoted $950 by Eduardo the day before the move that we were being ripped off. After back and forth with Eduardo, we cut them a check for 1,012. They weren't apologetic, nor did they do the right thing and honor the price they originally quoted. I would not recommend this company at all. Spend a little more and get reliable service and a stress free experience. UPDATE: 10-12-8 Arthur the owner is claiming we were aware of the pricing prior to the move. This is true. What he's failing to acknowledge is the fact on multiple occasions we informed him of the storage unit and the refrigerator. We have the initial email to Sheryl from his company asking for a quote. Arthur never came out to meet us as the email claims. The rely email from Sheryl clearly shows the price we were quoted for everything. It clearly states $750. Eduardo called us the day before the move to inform us a third guy would be needed because they weren't aware we had a full storage unit. All of this was made known well in advance of the move. Arthur is now calling me and my wife a liar apparently. I don't care if you made Angie's List or have won so called awards. Your level of customer service and satisfaction leaves a lot to be desired. read more

From the first moment we started dealing with this company over the phone, to the in person quote, to the actual move we were treated with respect. There are no hidden fees, gimmicks or surcharges like every other moving companies. The movers arrived exactly on time and treated our items as if they were their own. The crew was great and did an amazing job, upper management has left something less to desire. I originally booked them to dismantle and move 5 TV's but I ended up hiring a professional wall mounter instead which cut about 2 hours. So I asked them to move my washing machine and swap it with the one in the place I was moving to, they said no. Then one of my matching side table was damaged. I mean someone threw another piece on top and the wood literally broke a piece inward in the middle of the top. But they said "They were not responsible for damages to wood or something like that. What a waste. I work as a personal assistant and move things all the time. Too bad they just lost my business! read more

We contracted We Move On Demand to move us from Coconut Creek to Boynton Beach on May 30, 2018. The 3 movers arrived promptly as promised and proceeded to disassemble beds and wrap EVERY piece of furniture in shrink wrap and blankets for protection. Upon arrival in Boynton the movers unloaded all our belongings and reassembled all the furniture. We found all our possessions to be unharmed and in perfect condition. I wanted to write a positive review so i waited 2 months to give them a chance to right their wrong. After many phone calls and promises, i'm still waiting. They broke a $100 bottle of wine that they promised to replace. and, promised, and promised. No check, no wine. But Arthur said he wouldn't let me down but he has. The crew was not happy doing the work and it showed as they tossed my belongings around, broke a chair and lost parts of my tools. They carried a box of wine on top of four other boxes, like it was unimportant. The box toppled off and then they made me pull the glass shards out of the box, saying it wasn't their job to clean it up. They first tried to hide it, like they hid the broken chair. What kind of workers think its okay to break things and then cover them up? Arthur promised me on 6 different calls, the wine was on its way. Not so. I wouldn't use them again. sorry Arthur. read more
