Good Greek Moving & Storage West Palm Beach

Our experience started out great. Rod Hodge of Good Greek came to our home. He gave us a quote…read moreand took a refundable deposit. We received other estimates and decided on a different mover. Since then we have contacted Mr. Hodge multiple times with no response and no refund. Be careful about giving Good Greek a deposit. You may not get it back.

If I could give this company ZERO stars, I absolutely would. One of the worst moving experiences I…read morehave ever had. I was charged over **$1,000 to move just ONE-BEDROOM **despite having already packed practically everything myself. All the movers needed to do was load, transport, and unload my belongings. What should have been a simple move turned into an unnecessarily expensive and stressful nightmare. I offered my own moving materials, including a mattress protector and tape, but the crew disregarded my request, used their own, and charged me for them. One mover even admitted that the company does not adequately inform crews about their assignments beforehand, leaving them unaware of what they're moving or what materials they'll need. Unfortunately, that lack of preparation happens on the CUSTOMER'S billable time. It took 17 minutes just to box my television. I repeatedly instructed one mover to prioritize the heavy bedroom furniture, yet he continued going back and forth to the garage. The lack of urgency and constant inefficiency made me seriously question whether the process was being deliberately prolonged to increase billable hours. I cannot speak to their intentions, but customers are charged hourly, and every unnecessary minute adds up. Over THREE HOURS for a move I had practically packed myself, with only a 17-minute drive between locations. And after paying over $1,000, my belongings arrived DAMAGED. My solid-wood dresser had a supporting leg completely broken off, leaving it unstable and unsafe to move. My upholstered bed frame was stained and scuffed, with marks that would not come off despite cleaning attempts. My rotating shoe organizer was dented, chipped, and scratched. To make matters worse, an expensive piece of wall art was MISSING. The situation escalated to the point that I had to contact law enforcement. Shockingly, one crew member told me he was accustomed to having the police called on them. That statement alone was alarming. Management was no better. Andres, the manager, demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic conflict-resolution skills. Rather than genuinely addressing my concerns, I felt dismissed, gaslit, and spoken to as though my experience was somehow invalid. His approach only intensified an already frustrating situation. What should have been an exciting moving day was completely ruined. My plans were disrupted, my furniture was damaged, and I was left filing a formal claim that I was told could take approximately 15 days to resolve. Meanwhile, I have broken furniture sitting in my bedroom. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH before hiring Good Greek Moving & Storage. Ask about hourly billing, additional material charges, crew preparation, and how they handle damaged property. I cannot and will not recommend this company. And no I was not offered nor did I decline a waiver for additional use of "protective materials", since judging by the other bad reviews they seem to lack accountability. To put into perspective how horrible this experience was, I would rather throw my furniture out the window and set it on fire than pay this company to move another piece of it. This should have been a SIMPLE move. NEVER AGAIN. Just horrendous.

He sold me on the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK services, and then backed up everything he said with he and his team's performance on the job. I'm Extremely satisfied as is my client. I highly recommend this Delray Beach franchise. John Rodgers Managing Partner Florida A.L.E. Solutions

This was our third local move with Two Men & A Truck, and we hired them again because our previous…read moreexperiences had been excellent. Unfortunately, this move was handled very differently. Our move included a dining room set and a baby grand piano. When the crew reached the piano, they realized they didn't have the proper tools to remove the legs. They called for assistance, but the second set of tools didn't work either. After time continued to run, we were told the piano would have to be rescheduled because the crew needed to get to their next job. We paid $666 of an approximately $800 quoted move, yet the piano wasn't moved. Later that day, the company sent a new estimate of $450 to move only the piano. Although they waived the travel fee, they still expected us to pay additional labor costs resulting from their own lack of preparation. I contacted customer service several times and even offered to split the additional cost. There was no flexibility and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience of having to rearrange our schedules for a second appointment. The movers were courteous throughout the process, so my disappointment is with management's response--not the crew. Mistakes happen, but how a company resolves them matters. In this case, I don't believe a loyal, repeat customer was treated fairly. Unfortunately, after three moves with this company, I won't be using them again.
