    I contacted the movers on 10/11. I have been working with Michael Covington. At first he was very helpful and stated I could contact him for help or assistance if needed . The move took place on 10/19 - according to Michael, he stated it could take around 5 days for the move to take place from NM to VA When they came to pick up my items on 10/19 - they came at 3pm when I was quoted a window of 8-10am . When they came they quickly started to load my items and then after a third of the items were loaded, the mover tries and tells me that I am going to owe more than what was quoted. - when I brought to his attention that I was quoted different, he says it's because I need about another 100-150 cubic feet but he won't truly know until everything is loaded in the truck and they can measure. **per federal law - they are not supposed to load anything until they provide a new updated estimate - they did not provide one!! When I brought to his attention the law, he apologized and said he forgot to tell me about the charges and should have done that right away. I contacted newstart during this conflict and talked to a Jamie who said he was contacting management for help but never received any correspondence- I called them again and got to Jamie and he basically told me there wasn't much they could do and if I felt comfortable , I can proceed with the move and they would credit back 20% of my deposit . I was basically stuck and I had a flight leaving the next day for Virginia. I had no choice but to go forward with the move and pay more than what was quoted - even though they broke federal law - I have proof of this that they did. I have not received anything back in terms of my deposit . My belongings have been picked up on 10/19 and it is 11/5 and they still have no updates whatsoever Michael Covington is of no help even when he says he will assist . He directs me to customer service and they are of no help. They have not updated me with any information or support as requested. I have asked for them to update me and they have not. They even claimed that they are not able to get in contact with cobra van lines, they even said they were closed on Halloween. Cobra has a 24/7 support line and I have been in contacted with a rep there, who also doesn't have a definite answer to when my items will arrive I am frustrated and will not recommend this broker to anyone. I am moving forward and will be placing reviews on any available platform notifying people of my experience I read the contracts and I understand them but the customer service and support is null in this company. Once payment was made to them they basically forgot who I am People beware!!! **it is 11/27 and I've finally gotten my items. I contacted their customer service about the status of my credit back and they told me in order to receive my credit that they originally promised me on 10/19, I have to delete all my negative reviews and state that this has been resolved - it has NOT BEEN RESOLVED. Jaimie in customer service was of no help at all . He said he would call the movers and inquire about them suddenly charging me an extr- $450 for shuttle service and he never did.     My latest transfer was dealt with expertly with the aid of them. The group treated my belongings with care, worked quick, and became expert. I'm giving them three stars because of a minor arrival put off, but their hustling and upbeat demeanor extra than made up for it. Overall, I had a tremendous enjoy and might utilize them over again.

    The worst company i've ever done business with. Currently talking to a lawyer. It took 3 times as long as i was told, over a month for delivery. They increased my total cost by 50% once they landed at my property, which at that point i had no other options. They are a company that takes money and offers nothing. they hire outside businesses who then have zero responsibility or obligation to rectify their damages. I lost nearly every fragile item they took, and somehow they managed to break a 100 year old dresser. DO NOT use this company.

    Excellent Packing Services were offered by Eagle Moving. There was no damage, and Everything was packed safely. Outstanding Assistance!

    WARNING: Avoid Eagle Moving Group at all costs. I was quoted $1,185 for my move, but they secretly subcontracted to an F-rated company, changed the pricing to square footage, and demanded over $1,000 more, essentially holding my belongings hostage. The mover was unprofessional, impaired, damaged my apartment, and refused to provide a receipt. When I contacted Eagle Moving Group, their manager admitted to mistakes but refused to fix them, and I never received the contract or recorded calls I requested. This company uses bait-and-switch tactics and deceptive practices--do not trust them. Not only did they offer zero military discounts, this company scammed me and acknowledged it the entire process with zero empathy or remorse.

    This company is one of the worst businesses in the country and should have no involvement with any associated moving services. As other reviewers have stated: AVOID AT ALL COST!! In December 2021, I had to organize a move from New Orleans to Iowa. The original estimate seemed realistic, but the refined estimate from the secondary company was well above any reasonable amount for furnishing of a 2-bedroom apartment. Upon further inventory on pick-up, the initial estimate of $2,175.67 increased to a total of $7,508 after the quality assurance review and I paid half for pick-up ($3,754.43). Approximately 200 Items, were held in storage in Louisiana during the time I was in the homebuying market in Iowa. After closing on my property, I requested the 23rd of May as an acquisition date. The final delivery happened over 3 months later with persistent phone conversation and anxiety. With many items damaged with puncture holes and broken glass frames, I estimated around $2,000 worth of damage and the delays. Be mindful that after taking your hard-earned money for the initial estimate, Eagle Moving washes their hands of any additional responsibilities. There is nothing majestic about this "eagle." Look elsewhere for your moving services.

    NIGHTMARE!!!! Avoid at all costs. I went through two movers and these guys showed and I got straight up extorted and robbed by the movers.
