I would give this a zero if I could. Two men allowed rainwater into my POD and took off after only 40 minutes. They had plenty of time to wait out the rain (two hour minimum) but no, they were in such a hurry to leave. I had to spend $$$ to buy materials to soak up the water which had accumulated where my furniture was to sit. Plus move the items into the proper position once the water was soaked up. Then, when the items arrived, one piece of sentimental furniture had been damaged due to the water damage and had to be discarded. Just incompetence and a mess all around. When I needed help unloading I didn't give this company a thought, and neither should you. When I complained the company took half off and said that was "the best it could do" Further arguing and it took another $100 off and then said that was "the best it could do" So the first representation was a misrepresentation. And this was BEFORE the POD arrived and I discovered the water damage to the heirloom item. read more

2 weeks until my reservation and they cancelled because they do not have anyone available. Most other movers are BOOKED! I booked this more than a month in advance for this reason. Just giving me back my deposit does not cover the stress and expense I am now going to have because I have to take what is left which is over priced. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

I was very hopeful that I would be writing better review based on others feedback prior to my move, but unfortunately my $2K television was severely damaged and I had to buy another one to replace it. I've called Bellhop multiple times to follow up on my claim about the television, but every time customer service tells me to wait another day or two for a response. It's been 10 days since I filed a claim, so my patience is thin at this point. I spent $4000 on the move from GA to FL, and stressed the tv was the most valuable item in the move. I am very unhappy with this company. I signed up online to receive help unloading my Pods unit at 2 hour/2 people at $333. After the unloading I saw that my bill was $158 more than the $333 I thought I was going to pay. Company said movers were there for three hours. I think it was two hours. Plus, on the night before the move one of the people doing the moving stated in a text to me that for the $333 I committed to paying I would get Two people for 2-3 hours work. Company says he was not authorized to give me that incorrect information which I thought I could rely on since he represented the company. So I was charged an additional $143.98 for the extra time plus a service fee of $15. At the very least the company and their contractors ( if that is what the actual movers were) should have a better method of communicating to the customer what they are committed to pay if the amount exceeds the original quote BEFORE any extra fees are incurred!!! read more

Absolutely ridiculous. Cancelled two times within 5 hours of scheduled start time because first time, they "didn't have a truck" & second time all of their trucks miraculously broke down. Was told to rent my own truck. Don't use them if you want reliable moving company. read more

The best moving experience I have had. These guys were great! Amazing help at an affordable price. We have to move on a budget and on short notice. Bellhops' guys were very professional, friendly, and so helpful. We used them to help us load our moving truck to move from Ft Lauderdale to Kansas City. We also hired their Kansas City team to help us unload. Loading and unloading tool less time than I expected. Nothing was damaged! i have used other movers in the past, but they were not as good as Bellhops. I will use Bellhops service again the next time I move. I had an amazing experience today with this company! Yoelvis, Terrell, William, and Juan were all very kind and professional. Customer service skills exceeded my expectations! They took great care of all my belongings and were extremely patient! I even ran into a little snag with my bed frame and they disassembled and reassembled it again without any problem. An update as promised. I completed my move some time ago and I had two individuals help me. I can say with complete confidence that you will not regret using this company. I won't go into full detail of the fiasco that was my move but I'll just share that I was completely disorganized upon arrival. That was not helped by a security guard at my apartment community who was informing me that I was not allowed to move in past certain hours and that if I was doing so, they would report me to the HOA and I could potentially be evicted. Awesome, right? Well my two movers were completely understanding of my situation. Given the fact that I had driven over 24 hours from Illinois to here, at least they understood that I should be cut some slack over a rule I had no idea existed or was given notice of. The two movers helped me out by helping me move the moving truck into the best position. And they didn't start the timer until they actually started moving things in. I will only mention one issue which was that they didn't call me an hour before the move as promised. I was sort of depending on that call because I was driving in my truck and needed them to call me so that I could tell them I would be late to the move. Instead, I had to pull over and call the main office. Not a big deal. I just wanted to mention it for any future movers just in case they need that 1 hour warning like I did. But besides that, everything was perfect. These guys deserved every dollar they made and every dollar I could tip them. Use this company. You won't regret it. read more
