After the move, the driver calls me and tells me that they forgot to deliver my TV. So I had to stay home from work two days to get that delivered because he didn't show up the first day that he told me that he would even though I told him that I had to get to work by 2 PM. After I unpacked my stuff I realize that they also lost an entire bag of shoes. I called them to let them know that my shoes are missing. They told me they would call me back once they spoke to the driver, I haven't heard a word out of them since. This is absolutely crazy, especially since they overcharged me. I know they've been around for a while, but they're not doing good work. And I would not recommend them.

Rude, overpriced, had random people show up off the streets who spent half the time on their phones and smoking weed. Seriously, they were horrible! They showed up in a tiny uhaul half full of all of their equipment because "their truck was full of someone else's stuff" they committed fraud by charging hourly plus travel time. They beat the walls and all of our stuff to death. The owner is an absolute prick, then tried to pressure you to tip. I was good to them and even bought them lunch and still got ripped off. They didn't even complete 1/3rd of the move in 3xs the time it should have taken. What an absolute nightmare! Unfortunately and ironically I was at my storage unit months later and The owner has a nasty temper and got mad at my daughter and I after almost running us over in the storage I spoke up and said hey why are you driving that big truck so fast and close to people in a storage facility? He was absolutely disgusting in response and his wife has to get control of him. For a supposedly god fearing man he sure is a vile human being!!!

They arrived at his place at 11am and to my surprise, they arrived at my home by 12. This was the first red flag. They arrived in an unmarked white truck. Second red flag. 2 old obviously used "mirror boxes" (multiple boxes taped together to facilitate the size of the pictures) with holes in them and barely any tape slapped on arrived, 2 boxes for the 5 paintings. I assumed they must have forgotten the other 3 paintings, but upon inspecting the boxes I could feel that the contents were loose and shaking around. I cut the one small piece of tape holding these extremely heavy paintings together for further inspection. There was not one piece of wrapping or padding. They were simply thrown into old haphazardly pieced together boxes. 2 in one box and 3 in the other. I don't know how they survived the trip to my home in this condition. There was another large maybe 18 cube box with two unwrapped framed pieces that were thrown into the bottom of the box. No wrapping and they didn't even tape the top of the box together. This movers were found by a business card at an assisted living facility and I imagine that's because it is easy to take advantage of the eldery and overcharge for poor work. The owner of the company is unprofessional and rude. She said she was going to get back to me about a partial refund but of course she has not. If I wanted to throw these paintings in the back of my trunk and drive them 5 minutes down the street to my house I could have done that for free. I hired professional movers at a very high price for only one hour of their time expecting a good job to be done but instead I got this atrocious disaster. I will now do this myself. Thanks for absolutely nothing and ripping me off.

Someone suggested I try Thumbtack. So I put an inquiry out on Thumbtack and SELECT was one of the first to respond - they were professional and very clear on what I was to expect, and the best part for me was they did not require a 3hr minimum. The day of the move they arrived on time, they greeted me with a smile, they were quick, efficient and handled my furniture with care - even going up the stairs and getting my stuff through a tight entryway. They were done in 1.5hrs and I was a very happy customer. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for any future moving.

On moving day there was a team of 3 people that showed up (including Zach and James). They brought alot of boxes for the art and mirrors as well as for the clothing. They wrapped the furniture well so that it wouldn't get damaged. Truly disappointed in these folks…read more I called to inquire about a move and they said they would come on Friday. Then they said, "No, maybe Saturday." So, I said, "Let's make it Saturday then." On Friday, at 4:30 PM, I get a call asking if they can come in a short while. I stated that, since we had agreed on Saturday, I had already made plans and was not home. "OK, so we'll do it on Saturday. But we can just do it on FaceTime. (??? not even interested in seeing firsthand???) I'll call you between 1 and 2pm, but if you don't hear from me, give me a call." What kind of business asks a potential customer to give them a call if they forget to call you? Needless to say, I never heard from them between 1 and 2pm. However, at 3:30pm I get a phone call and I stated that they were not making a good 1st impression for the reasons cited above. I was going to say, "I'll give you one last chance." However, before making my comment, and rather than apologizing or saying, "OK, let's start again," I was met with, "OK, so you know what, I guess we don't do your move." (With that response, I guess you don't.) There was no attempt to make things right. I was in sales for 20 years. This is not how you treat a potential client. Given their ratings, I had high hopes. However, given this track record, I was left with very little confidence and assurance that they would show up when they said they would and/or honor I their commitments.
