First off, this is a woman owned business! The owner quit her corporate job and followed her dream which lead her to this little mailbox center, filled with gifts to buy and private mailboxes but the best part is the owner and her passion to do everything perfectly. I have been coming hear for many years and Julie, the current owner is head & shoulders above those other shipping outlets. Some people are never satisfied or happy...they are impossible to please and the harder you try, the more anal they become, Every business owner that provides service to the GENERAL PUBLIC understands this. People are okay but the general public can be a general pain in the arse. Two percent of the population is mentally challenged. Some are narcissists, some are on drugs, some stopped taking their meds, and others are just miserable pucks. Pressed for time, stressed, abrupt and edgy...these people take their misdirected angst out on the unsuspecting all the time. If you have not "served time serving the general public" then you're lucky and won't understand my perspective. Lemme tell ya, healthy, balanced, normal people see Julie as being an absolute gem. She goes out of her way for people and is just the sweetest thing. If you don't like her then look in the mirror...it'll probably shatter. Just give yourself ample time because everyone loves Julie and she's often doing her best to make customers happy...one at a time...in the order they arrived. I saw one person arrive in a miff wearing an imaginary tiara who clearly did not give themselves adequate time and guess what...those who are there ahead of you come first. I have no problem awaiting my turn...Julie is totally worth the wait. Been here for Livescans, Notary & Passport services, shipping and just gift shopping...never had one bad experience. The Post Stop sets the customer care bar so high...FEDEX, UPS and DHL need to charter a plane just to see it. Zero room for improvement. The Post Stop is a special place. read more

I went to this store yesterday to buy stamps. One of the worst customer service I have ever had. The saleswoman could not be bothered- acted as if she wished I had not gone in store. She was on her cell phone the entire time, and kept apologizing to the person she was on the phone with, ignoring me the customer. There were cute items in the store I wanted to buy, but I sensed she wanted me to leave so I did not buy anything and left. read more

This is difficult for me to post as I've used Sarah as a notary for years & have sent many packages through The Post Stop. However, after paying for shipping and insurance for UPS to ship a painting to my aunt, it arrived to her home damaged and broken. UPS was extremely negligent and treated my package without care. However, it was like "pulling teeth" to get Sarah to follow through with UPS after inquiries, return emails and phone calls in regards to an update about our claim (FYI, you rely on the Sender to file a complaint and follow up with UPS). Shipping was more than $250, and the damage turned out to be the same, $250 dollars. I've decided to take my business elsewhere unfortunately. read more

I needed to get a Live Scan done and am a high-risk person, so I called the store ahead of time to see if they were following the executive order issued by California government that all businesses MUST wear masks. When I asked the person I spoke with if they were wearing masks, she seemed to fumble and then said "oh I have it in a drawer right here and I can wear it for you". **in a DRAWER?!?** This business is clearly not following the executive order and COVID recommendations and I will NOT do business with them, now or in the future! read more

Searching for a Live Scan company I came across "The Post Stop." When I called around 10 a.m. to make an appointment they were able to get me in by early afternoon the same day and I was relieved I didn't have to wait days. Kelly was fast and efficient and having a Live Scan done at the OC Sheriff's 4 months before, she blew me away compared to the sheriff who had to keep redoing my prints over and over, I kid you not. Kelly was done within minutes!!! She probably thought I was crazy how many times I complimented her. Another bonus is that they sell a variety of candy from all around the world. I highly recommend! The new owner/manager and her staff are extremely friendly, efficient, conscientious and detail-oriented. In addition, the new staff wear masks and are compliant with all CDC protocols. Any long-term customers can attest to occasional problems with this business during 2020 and the lockdown. The pandemic was a challenge for every public-facing small business, and there's no real point in or need to re-hash any of the issues with the past owner or managers. read more

Please be aware that this business is not adhering to Covid guidelines. When trying to drop off a package, the woman working there did not have a mask on. She was politely asked from the doorway to please put on a mask and she refused. I will never patronize this business again. This business is not following mandatory state guidelines and doesn't care about the safety of their clients. read more

Called to ask how much the live scan is and the male who answered the phone said "I don't know you have to call the lady that does it". Really? LOL, they offer the service on the Post Stop website, how can they not know this information. Not to mention the guy was extremely rude and mocking me. Kelly and Sarah are extremely nice and willing to help with whatever you need. I love shopping there for gifts as they are unique and made locally. It's nice having an alternative to the post office when needed. I've been shopping at this business since it first opened. "New Stu" was a gem and it was so sad when he passed. The Post Stop advertises that they offer a notary service. So I drove down there only to find out that they only use a traveling notary service and gave me their card to call them. When I called them I got their voice mail. What a joke! Talk about false advertising! All of the customers in the store had a face mask on with the exception the individual that worked the front count for the store. So... their customers wanted to protect the store employees and the stores customers by wearing a mask but the company employee or owner did not. I will never go their again. I went to the USP store a block down that actually did have a notary and also had the sense to wear a mask. Don't waste you time at the The Post Stop go the the UPS store instead.
