Terrible experience yesterday. Went to drop off package there and another patron walked in before me without a mask, so I waited outside. Then I go to walk in and see the owner or employee NOT wearing a mask. I have asthma and deemed high risk to COVID-19 complications. I'm also not shy and asked the owner why he wasn't wearing a mask and informed him I had asthma. He gave me a dirty look, refused to put one on and then said he doesn't mail packages. I told him I've paid that store lots in business over the years and would never be back. I also shared more choice words after that. This store and people like him are not following basic Covid-19 safety guidelines and are one of the reasons why highly contagious, deadly virus is spreading like crazy. Shame on him. Shame on this store. In NY where they have far less cases he would be shut down and fined. read more

Post Stop is a wonderful neighborhood-style service. Owner, Julie, makes faxing and shipping a fun experience. I came in last minute today to send a fax, and despite the demand inside by other customers before closing, Julie took care of me. Customers feel valued, well-cared for in confidence. A business that takes care of today's customer needs and takes time and heart to know customers personally is commendable, and by the way, much appreciated these days! Brought in a package the other day to ship and Sara was amazing. She saw that I had not packed my gifts correctly. Within minutes she had my breakables bubble wrapped and in a correctly sized box. Nice people trying to make it as a small biz in a down economy. They know their shipping stuff though. They helped me find the best way to ship Xmas packages XC at most affordable and efficient way. They have a bunch of knick knacks that I don't get but maybe neighborhood women will buy anything. Heck, they could buy me a beer if they have money to burn on cheap knick knacks. read more

The Post Stop is as good as it gets! I have been going to The Post Stop in San Clemente for over 13 years and approx. 5 owners. Sara is the hardest working employee anyone could ask for, and Kelly helps Sara since the last owner passed away unexpectedly. These two girls have kept The Post Stop open. I would highly recommend this business for locals that need a post box or just need help mailing packages. The Live Scan Fingerprinting is a great add to the business, but if you make an appointment just respect the fact that Kelly comes from her second job to help Sara keep this feature of the business on going. As the executor of my father's estate, I needed to ship a heavy (~19 lb) candelabra to my brother in Minnesota. It was an elaborate piece made of pottery that had been in the family for a number of years...fragile...irreplaceable...needless to say I wasn't sure it would make it to Minnesota in one piece. This morning my brother let me know that it arrived safe and sound! Sarah at the Post Stop did an excellent job of packing the candelabra for shipping. When I had made multiple attempts to set up an appointment for my live scan fingerprinting Sarah the manager put me on hold however forgot to push the hold button and her and Kelly (the one that does the livescan) proceeded to discuss my situation in front of others in the store as well as say negative things about me while I sat on hold. When asked if I could speak to a manager or supervisor regarding this very childlike behavior I was told that the owner is out of town for two weeks and never comes into the office anyway and that she (Sarah) runs the entire operation and that if I had a problem I need to address it with her. When I told her that I could hear everything they were saying about me and did not appreciate it her response was, "Well, You have attempted 2 appointments." "We have been trying to be accommodating to you but now that you are in a rush and we cannot squeeze you in you are upset." I was not at all upset that they couldn't see me today I was more upset at how they spoke of me when I was on hold. I would avoid this location especially if the owner is "never there". I have left a message with the owner David Woonutt to call me when he arrives back from vacation. Life is hard enough.. who needs ladies like Sarah and Kelly that will speak rudely behind your back. Quick, friendly, and a reasonable price for live scan fingerprints. Pay cash as it is a few dollars cheaper than credit or debit. It took maybe 10 minutes and I was done. They will even travel if you can't come to the shop for a large number of people. Great service, great attitude, and an overall pleasant fingerprinting experience. read more
