I went in to take a box for shipment the girl working was super helpful but than I got some mean guy who was trying to tell me my box was going to bust fine that was nice of them but than he threw a box at me to pack it than instead of saying you can do it in here after me spending $400 to ship out he made me go outside like a was some kind of peasant it was not a welcoming feeling at all. 0/0 would not recommend I would like to mention I went to another UPS store after for my other boxes in Newport Beach wow they were so nice!! What a night and day difference!! They even helped with a little extra bubble wrap helped me pick up the box and were so kind they also said my original box was fine and it help up to 70pounds. read more

I brought a package in to return yesterday, and when I checked on the status of my return today, the status shows that it has not been received by UPS. I called and spoke to Megan to get some insight/help. She was very unfriendly, and showed very poor customer service. She never said , "I'm sorry to hear about that" or "no problem, let me see how I can help you" it was as if I was an annoyance to her day. Once she looked into things for me, all I got was that my item would have been picked up yesterday by one of the trucks, and if its still showing "not received" in my email then it's now out of her hands. That's a little concerning!. I brought my expensive package in for UPS to return, and Megan basically said there's nothing she can do about it showing not received and it's out of her hands. I realize maybe things have still not updated 24 hours later, and hopefully that's the case, as I do have a receipt, but unfortunately, this was not handled properly. I rarely leave reviews, and if Megan had been a friendly customer service person, or shown a little grace. It would be a different outcome. I'm sure the store as a whole is great, but she really ruined it for me! read more

I miss my old UPS store, It was hassle free and had friendly employees. I've been to this store about 5 times after moving here and every time I walk out not feeling good about this place. Just weird vibes, employees and owner don't greet you most of the time and just talk to each other, they won't accept an Amazon return in original box (they try to sell you a plain box to put your box in, for over $10/box) they charge $2 for printing just one shipping label! Also the worker will make sure you know that they don't like taking multiple Amazon returns by their attitude. Stay away if possible! read more

Is anyone else having problems with their amazon returns at this location? Just received another recharge. I have had 5 returns over the last 6 months recharged to my account because Amazon never received the return. All of these items have been dropped off on different dates. While it may seem like a fluke it's hard to imagine that just by chance all of these missing items are just mine and no one else is having an issue. This is a great UPS store. Have gone here periodically throughout the years, mostly to drop off Amazon returns. But, have also gone here to ship Christmas gifts, and, more recently, to have the book that I wrote be binded. The gentleman who took my call when I inquired about binding/printing services was kind and answered my questions. Then, later that day, when I went in to the store to have the book that I wrote binded, the two gentlemen working in this store were kind, and my book was binded, comb binded, within minutes, and it only cost $5. Really great staff who works at this store! Every time I have went to this store, the service is quick, and the staff working at this UPS store are friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this UPS for needing to ship items, and also for the other services that this UPS store offers. read more

My first experience was with a female employee that I had notarize two pages. She didn't review the documents at all and a box wasn't checked so it cost me 2 weeks and another $30 to have the pages redone. The very next time I went in to have the pages redone the male employee spelled my name wrong on the document. I just think they are a bit sloppy and should pay more attention to what they are doing. They also charge way more than the post office for supplies and postage. I will go to the post office next time. read more

I went back a few days later and they said it happens all the time and give it a couple weeks. Still has not been processed. It's my fault for not asking for a receipt but I always get a text and Amazon notification so I thought I didn't need it. I usually go to the UPS store on pico but I was close to this one. The guy with curly hair is unprofessional and rude, I stood there for a few minutes until one of them finally decided to acknowledge me even though i said hello twice. I understand that one of the guys was busy packaging up a box, but the other was just standing there spacing off. When he decided to walk over, he let out this huge sigh, sorry my business is an inconvenience for you. As well as, he repeatedly told me he "couldn't hear me" I'm yelling already, if you still can't hear me maybe it's time to invest in some hearing aides. The worst customer service the owner is the rudest man I've ever met I said to myself last year I will never step foot in this establishment again. Had a couple Amazon returns grab a Starbucks coffee felt convenient and he is horrible. Super grateful there are other UPS stores in San Clemente that are friendly helpful and kind. The young man at the front counter was very nice and helping someone else when I walked in. The manager, Nick, was talking with 2 others, one of whom was wearing a mask beneath his nose. Although I walked in, Nick continued a personal conversation with the other two customers/friends? while I was waiting. When I asked the one customer to put his mask over his nose, he did not, and said since I was 6 feet from him it didn't matter. I stated it did matter and requested he put it over his nose. Again, he did not and asked me if I could "just stop talking". When I replied in the negative, the customer then said 'goodbye' and left the store. At that point the young man at the front counter was free and able to take care of me very promptly and efficiently. So no Covid compliance by manager Nick and no support from him for a customer needing it. Poor management read more

From dropping off Amazon returns, packing and shipping items, or simply mailing different sized envelopes, I rely on this UPS Store rather than have the agony inflicted by a USPS official post office. Goof behind the counter grabs the new label from me and slaps it onto the box without asking, covering up the old label that I had come in to inquire about. I think UPS is great. Always great service. They get your package there on time and most of the time early. Never any lost packages. Quicker service than USPS. The list goes on... I've come to this location many times and it has always been a good experience.
