Over the last 15 years, I have had different occasions where I was in need of storage for personal and business use. I searched out all of the facilities in a 15 mile area and was lucky to find American Mini Storage in Capistrano Beach. It is clean, secure and the personnel are very helpful to do what is best for me and my circumstances. Christine, the manager, has been very instrumental in assisting me as I transitioned from a large home to a smaller home. They have also been there as I have closed businesses and needed to store items on a long term basis. My most recent need was for storage for a close family member who had passed away and Christine was able to take what I thought I needed and then show me a more economical and yet with easy access alternative. We have been using American Mini storage for many years now to store our parents things as well as our things. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. There had been some issues with a next door bin overloading and bending a wall, a poor repair job on a roll up door from an outside contractor and debris getting in under the door. The staff got immediately on the problems and worked them out. The groundsman there (I am sorry I forgot his name!) is extremely helpful and even offers to help move stuff as well as one time asked if I wanted anything from Starbucks as he was headed out. A note...since this unit is near the ocean and the humidity is higher you need to check your items on a regular basis for mold or other problems having to do with moisture. I have been using American Mini Storage for years. The storage units are excellent. The storage is on the coast so it doesn't get hot there. The people in the Office are all professional and nice. Someone will almost always answer the phone. The units have excellent security and the area is kept spotlessly clean. You won't get water damage in your unit as the paving allows proper water flow. I've stored here for a couple years and have never had any issues. The ladies at the front desk are super nice, plus they always have candy. I do miss they're old maintenance guy. I think his name was Richard he did a great job looking after the place and he was a kind sole. If I were to have a complaint it would be their hours wish they were open a little later. read more

The office staff are super helpful and proactive. I emptied out my storage unit and before I had a chance to call, someone from the office called me to verify that I had vacated. They are vigilant on monitoring the units and regularly check the locks on the units. Their rates are very reasonable and the access hours are convenient. read more

Great spot for your storage needs. I currently park my trailer here and it is an easy in and out. The staff is great and have helped me find the right spot. Plenty of security and I have never had any issues. If you need storage or parking this is the spot. Give them a chance, they do a great job! read more
