Robbery happened over 3 days in early March. Over $8,000. worth of my belongings. A precious set of 10 porcelain plate settings & all the mugs, bowls, serving dishes, etc. These dishes were very precious to me as my husband over 4 years had bought them for me as gifts. If anyone knows about this robbery or the dishes, I am offering a reward for info. The plates are aqua/turquoise and other items in set were cream with daisy, butterfly and tulip on them. 4 electric tools of my husband and some yard lights were also stolen. Thief was someone who had access and time to explore my unit and not even worry about someone seeing them or my showing up and catching them. This happened over a year ago ....but this is so unbelievably stupid it's still worth complaining about. So renting the Uhaul, in the beginning, was NO BIG DEAL... I (along with a few other people) didn't have problems until the drop off the morning. I (along with other people) arrived right at the posted opening time of the facility .... NOT A SOUL was around. HA Except for the casual glance of what I can only imagine is the apartment of the employees above the facility. We were not helped until well after an hour and a half after opening AND WE WERE STILL F'IN CHARGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had pursued the issue with uHaul. I will NEVER use them ever again! What a waste!
