Sunny, Stoop, and side of curly fries with ranch
    Christine D.

Stoop Kid is located in Churchill, a dining area with multiple restaurants, bars, and stores. We ordered the Stoop burger, Sunny burger, and a side of curly fries. The wait wasn't long at all, and we got our food pretty quickly. The food was so good! The burgers were super tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. There's plenty of seating at Churchill and we came midday on a Saturday, so finding a table to sit at wasn't an issue. A great place to meet up with friends for a bite.

I love stopping by the Churchill and hanging out there while enjoying some drinks or food. Stoop kid has always been really good, whether it's the bagel sandwiches for breakfast or burgers, it's all really tasty. This last time I got the burner burger and side of curly fries. The burger was really good. The flavor on the actual meat in the burger really has a lot of flavor and makes it really good. I don't get much spice out of the burner burger, but it was still good. I actually thought the standard regular burger was even more delicious. The curly fries also are delicious and make the perfect pairing for the burgers.

Cute little spot inside The Churchill. I had the Caesar burger in their smash salad. So tasty. Although I wish there was more meat!

With fatigue and a long trip - we ordered from here via Door Dash for an afternoon lunch sent to our hotel room. I ordered the double regular, with an extra side of special sauce. The burger was insanely massive and the smash patties nice and crispy overhanging the bun while still holding in the cheese and sauce. I really liked the food. Would recommend this place - try dining in first though.

For breakfast, consider these messy, oversized, and sloppy bagels with edgy names. Until this place arrived, The Churchill never had a true breakfast option, so I can see why it has some real staying power! What I liked: You are definitely getting enough food for a satisfying breakfast. Maybe even too much. I tried their "Egg the Scallion" (ham, soft, runny egg, gruyere, cream cheese), as well as the "Money Shot" (scrambled egg, hash brown, tomato) and either one is something I'd struggle to finish at 9am. But the flavors were there! Service is also great, and everything comes out fast. I must warn it gets a little messy though. OK, maybe more than a little messy--there's just too much going on. And I appreciate a good locally-made bagel, but these have a real uncharacteristic hardness and heft to them that helps hold everything together at the expense of being the star of the sandwiches. You might feel like you need a plate, knife, and fork rather than a couple napkins and a bit of foil. But despite all that, I can't say I left unhappy--I'd definitely return.

I've been wanting to go here for a while for their breakfast bagels! I still haven't done that yet but I tried their regular burger and it was pretty good! Went on first Friday which was a good vibe and they had a DJ too. I'm a big fan of the smashed patties since it had a lot of flavor. I wish the buns were toasted more since they were pretty mushy/soft

Asiago bagel with spicy bacon smear

Good bagel. I had the Asiago cheese with the spicy bacon smear. Very flavorful. Only downside is that they have cut down on the amount of smear they put on the bagels. Usually takes about 5 min to get the food. I would recommend. Tables to eat at are shared mostly in a nice open area.

Delicious burgers and fries!! Stoop kid is nestled into the Churchill and it was an immediate YES when we saw the menu! The curly fries are a must and the regular burger was perfect!!! I'm still dreaming about this meal- SO YUM

This place specializes in smash burgers, and let me tell you - they understand the assignment. Thin, crispy-edged patties with melty cheese and perfectly squished buns. Every bite was a little greasy, a little messy, and absolutely glorious. Exactly what you want in a smash burger. Laid-back but lively. It's tucked inside a food/bar hall, meaning you can chase your burger with a cocktail or three, then wander around feeling like you just unlocked a secret level of the city. Super friendly, fast, and efficient. Must try spot - they not playing around!

The Mac & Cheese Balls were okay. They are too spice for the amount of flavor. The vibe of The Churchill is great.

This was fabulous! The staff is nice and the bagel sandwiches as out of this world! Lots of seating around. I had the egg thee stallion and they made the egg hard to suit my preference and it was beyond delicious. My boo had the burrito and and said it was fire and had fresh salsa.. Will be back.

I don't even eat burgers like that and this one really hit the spot. I got the original stoop with tots and a Hawaiian Punch. The sizes are huge. The burger was everything. The space was perfect with all the options to sit and mist for the hit day. A little bit of a wait but that's okay. Would definitely recommend! There's street parking if you can find it but also a paid parking lot across the street.

Guys, this is the best bagel sandwich in Phoenix hands down. I walk here nearly every weekend for a treat (veggie bagel & electrolyte water from the little store next door). I've only tried the veggie burger once and it was yummy but a little crumbly. Fries are delish. Don't let the line freak you out, it moves fast + food is always fresh / yummy. Churchill is always a vibe.

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

I'm currently hooked on the Cafe de Olla, a gorgeous blend of sugar and spice that's topped with a star anise pod that enhances the aroma with every sip. But virtually every menu item -- honorable mention to the Cajeta -- is balanced and well crafted. The baristas are all very knowledgeable about their teas, as well. I've recently been SO hooked by their semi-new weekend pastry artist, Ghita, who crafts such unique desserts. Most recently, I tried their absolutely FIRE black sesame craquelin with a mildly sweet tahini cream. The rhubarb cream pastry was also gorgeous and creative. Futuro as a space is intentionally designed as well, with plenty of seating on both sides, boutique goods for sale, and great reads. It's the perfect place to read a book and chill on weekends. And the staff, even when busy, seem to always perfectly serve each order and efficiently clear out plates. Officially my favorite coffee shop 1000% now.
