Awesome service! AJ was super patient and knowledgeable on the menu and guided us through a great first experience here. (Definitely not our last time) read more

I've enjoyed this location for years, steak sandwich and peanut coleslaw is absolutely Devine. Consistent quality, clean, my kinda joint!

I love this place, I always get the pesto pasta. I have even purchase the pesto sauce itself so I can cook with it at home. Seriously the BEST pesto I have ever tasted read more

we buy from this place food for some time. Normally the food is very good and tasty, but this time the food, pasta, was very oily and greasy. One family member down with stomach problems. read more

Easy ordering. Really reminiscent of an upscale college cafeteria. Get your own plate and forks kind of jam. The food portions are huge. The salads are underwhelming for sure. The meats and pizza looked really good and the portions of each are very good. This place is not inexpensive at all. For that kind of money I would rather have full service. Good place for large groups and the coordination's of servers was good. Three stars awarded for decent food and fast service. To get a fourth star, they need to step up their salad game and do better on pricing. I got a small salad bread sticks and kids pizza with two drinks and it was over $30. A bit much if you ask me, considering they type of restaurant. read more

Fine dining: No With that being said this is my favorite place to eat in Irvine. If you like salads, you will love Stonefire Grill. They have about a dozen or so to try from. Beware, the portions are huge so for even 2 people you need a small. I mean, for my taste I go there with my friends and usually get a salad and a soda and it runs about 10 bucks, and sometimes I'll take hope the leftovers. The breadsticks are very good and are 25 cents a pop. The soup and mash potatoes are especially good as well. Id say my favorite salads are the South of The Border and The BBQ Salad. Im never generally dying to eat meat, but my friends have gotten the tri tip and chicken and meals and what not and everything is generally pretty decent. They have lunch specials now which are generally pretty good and even more affordable. So for pizza, salad, and meet at a decent price this is your place Also this place generally has a ton of seating so its usually very easy to get a comfortable booth. The staff is very nice as well, however if you make modifications to your order they have a pretty high rate of messing it up. read more

I have gotten take out twice from Stonefire grill and both times it was excellent. First time was the Recession buster where you get a big salad, either greens or Caesar and a whole chicken, BBQ or Garlic Onion, and a pizza for about 20.00 more or less...Wow, all good. Second time was a couple days ago and I got the Tri Tip dinner with salad and breadsticks and garlic mash potatoes...OMG, the Tri Tip was awesome...they asked me how I would like it and said Medium and that is what I got, sooo juicy, great BBQ sauce and more if you ask for more...I got about 12 slices for like 8-9 dollars. My whole meal was about 15.00 and fed me for two days. Definitely Try Them OUT! read more

Great place to eat whether with the family, a best friend, or significant other. Awesome atmosphere in the indoor dining area, and outside patio seating is also available. Customer service is great from the second you walk in until you finish your meal. You can't go wrong with whatever you order, my personal favorites are the cobb salad and pesto pasta! Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!! read more

Got takeout and service was excellent. Ribs were great! Disappointed in the "bbq beans". Taken pretty much like pinto chili beans out of the can. Next time I would try another side. read more

As soon as we arrive AJ was there to greet us like we were his long lost friends. He was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure we understood the menu and answered all our questions. My boyfriend and I go to stonefire once a week, at least!!! Everything is so delicious. We always get the Italian chopped with Tri tip and breadsticks with marinara sauce. talked to the manager today and he says upper management has decided to not buy or provide radishes or olives for the greek salad so they are not offering this on the current menu. Now tell me how hard is it to buy those items so you can make what your customers want? read more

Just picked up my order. Ribs and salmon way over cooked. When I originally called to order and requested salmon to be cooked "medium" I as told it's only cooked one way. I guess that way is dry. Not ordering here again read more

I came here on April 2,2020 Ordered online and had a pick up for 5pm. I arrived at 4:45 and let them know I was there. No one came out to us so at 5:30 I went in to check on my order. They said they were working on it and to give them a few more minutes. At 6:00 I went back in and they said it would be less than 10 more min. About 5 minutes later they come out with my order. When the gentleman handed me my pizza the box was cold, had absolutely no heat to it. So I addressed it and he said they could make me a new one. I said no it was fine I would just like a refund for the pizza. I didn't want the rest of my order ($200) worth of food to get cold. We got in the car and I was hungry so I went to grab a breadstick and that was cold also. Kinda seems like they don't make that fresh to order. So fast forward to today 06/29/2020 I ordered a pizza and salad and had Postmates deliver it. When the driver arrived to my house he said that when he picked up the pizza he let them know that it was cold and their response was "there is nothing we can do about it" . I have been here before when dine in was a thing. And it was delicious. It just seems to me they haven't figured out this carry out deal. I won't be returning, I'll drive to Pasadena when I want Stone Fire read more

Terrible experience! Clearly ordered two pizza's and two salads on the phone. My mistake was giving a generous tip before they handed me the food with missing pizza! So we ended up with one cold pizza, and one rushed doughy under cooked pizza ... so let's say two lousy pizza's and wilted salads! Wasted$$$ read more

The three stars is because I didn't like the way they staggered the food that came out. We were a party of four and the food took more than 10 min for each of us to get what we ordered. The food is good. I will try it again and hopefully the food comes out in a timely manner. read more

Had the Cobb salad with Tri Tip. This dish would be perfect if you are a huge meat eater and want to eat a little greens to make you feel like you are eating your veggies. Between the bacon and the blue cheese, it is way too salty for my taste. Bits of crispy bacon kept getting stuck in my gums. Ended up taking my food home and adding more salad so it wouldn't seem so salty. Pretty disappointing as a salad though. I'll stick to the other plates that they are better known for. read more

I'm a frequent customer here, but today I ordered food to go and it was a horrible experience. They got my order wrong, and then I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my food (i called 20 mins before walking in)... There wasn't even a line??? I received my food and the first thing I noticed was the mashed potatoes. Literally looked and tasted like shit. My breadsticks were also cold and my salad didn't have a lot of tri tip in it (but it was undercooked anyways...). they didn't even offer me a refund or SOMETHING for the wait!!! Won't be back for awhile.. read more

Stonefire Grill - American Near Me - Irvine, California

Got food from them last Sunday. Ordered a full rack of ribs. I ate half and got the worst food poisoning of my life. I usually come here at least once a month, but I'm not sure I can give them another chance. read more

I am a lunch regular. It's always busy so the service can be slow. Great selection of salads, my favorite is the BBQ chop with trip tip. The breadsticks are pretty awesome, so it's unfortunate that one doesn't come with the petite salad. read more

was there tonight with family after a wedding; there were 22+ and we all had different things. I saw the best-looking ribs, tri-tips & pastas, and salads around me....tried the pizza and absolutely was blown away with the chicken breast done in lemon, garlic and herbs with a side of delicious quinoa. SO good. Jeremy was our waiter, and when my chicken was late to get out (they were REALLY busy) he offered bread sticks and really hovered until my order was in front of me and knew I was perfectly satisfied....in spite of being really really busy. EVERYONE at our huge table was wowed with their food. Very good, reasonable in price and what excellent service. we will be back. How very fortunate you are in Irvine to have this treasure!! read more

A great place if you are after a quick, yummy bite to eat. Food was fresh and healthy and service was prompt. We ordered tri tips with mashed potato and BBQ chicken breast with salad. Our meals came with bread sticks which were the BOMB. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced, easy dinner. (Our meals were $29 total) read more

Love this place. The portions. The food. All Amazing and at great prices too! The bbq chicken pizza is my favorite and everything on the menu has substantial portions read more

Had the rigatoni once before and it was good but not enough sauce on it. So this time I asked for extra meatsauce. The price for the me as l was fair but the price for the extra cup of sauce was absurd. Measured it at home, was exactly one cup and for this they charged $5.00. They told me $3.00 initially which sounded fair, but it turned out to be more. Will think twice about getting this again. read more

Cute little diner, with a friendly atmosphere, and flirtatious waiters... I went to this place with a few close girlfriends, and we absolutely loved it. I ordered a avocado-corn salad (which had a little bit too much vinaigrette, but tasted great otherwise) and had a sample of my friend's pesto. The pesto was excellent, with the pasta just soaking up the sauce. Also, an open fire pit that could be possible for making smores... read more

This is a long overdue review. I am so glad that there is a Stonefire grill in Irvine, and I hope they'll open another location in South OC. I ordered the Stonefire Favorite and a couple of other meat items for a Christmas gathering. Everybody liked the food that one of our guests also ordered for their company party. The kids loved the breadsticks as usual. Caesar salad is one of the best we've tasted. There were a lot of leftovers for the guests to take home. The only bummer is they don't have online ordering and that our tritip didn't come with Gorgonzola butter. We will always consider this place for family events and gatherings. This is one of those places we'll go back to over and over again because of their great food and reasonable prices. In fact, I am on my way there for dinner as I am writing this review to meet up with friends and their family. read more
