Stonefire Grill is always a solid choice. They have a deal right now that can't be beat. For $13, I got a personal sized pesto pasta with a breadstick (which I was going to order anyway and I think the personal size is upwards of $14 if I am not mistaken). The deal came with a small personal caesar salad and a huge slice of carrot cake. Such a great deal for the amount of food included. The carrot cake was just okay but Caesar salad was great and the pesto pasta is always a favorite of mine. Service was quick and friendly and there was plenty of seating in the dining room. I will be back!

It's been a min since I've been to Stonefire Grill! I've always loved their chicken and tri-tip. Although they have good lunch specials, there were four of us, so I went with the tri-tip and chicken combo, along with breadsticks and a salad. It was soooo good and easily fed four hungry people, but if you're really hungry, I'd recommend ordering a bit more. Great food and wonderful service!

The food here was delishhhhh. We stopped by for dinner and shared the family meal for four. We had: Caesar salad Pesto Pasta Breadsticks Sausage / pepperoni pizza Garlic tri tip and BBQ tri tip The food came out one and by one and it was all delicious. Everything was hot and flavorful. The salad was my favorite as it was fresh and had a nice crunch. The pesto pasta was al dente and very good. The tri tip was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was great.

The 3 strikes were: -Ordered curbside service and had to go inside for take out orders (happy to go inside, just don't offer curbside as an option then) -Portions have significantly decreased -Prices have risen The $23 Salmon was TINY and the carrot cake portion was no where near the behemoth size they used to serve....The price can't be justified with the quantity of food

Stonefire Grill's carrot cake is THE best...why? It's moist, has pineapples, and is topped with a slightly tangy, gooey cream cheese. It doesn't have an overpowering spice taste, just a warm, cinnamon & caramel-y blend of deliciousness. *drool* We called in to see if they still had the 1/4 sheet available (usually it's a one-day notice), and they were able to accommodate my cravings!! Trust me, it's worth it and you won't want to share! Love that they have plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean with seating for big and small parties, and the Staff are welcoming. Keep in mind that their front door is hard to open on windy days!! Pro tip: get their $13 meal deals and sign up for their rewards program!!

I visited Stonefire Grill recently and had a mixed experience. Food: I ordered the pesto pasta with chicken. The dish itself tasted very delicious especially the sauce. However, I wish the menu offered more types of pasta other than rigatoni. The menu offers a few pasta dishes along with sandwiches and hamburgers. Service: Most of the employees here are friendly and they went around and cleaned up the tables. Ambiance: The decor inside is nice and there is plenty of seating.

Stonefire Grill in Irvine is such a solid go to when you want a fresh, filling meal without spending a ton. They're known for their flame grilled meats, hearty salads, pizzas, and breadsticks, and everything we tried totally delivered. We went in for their limited time $13 Meal Deal and honestly it's one of the best values I've seen lately. For $13 you get one entrée, one side, and a dessert. That alone is a win, but the portion sizes make it an even better deal. We tried two different pizzas, a pulled pork sandwich, and a pasta, and everything tasted fresh and made in house. The flavors were comforting and classic, and you can tell the recipes are prepared daily. The pulled pork sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, the pizzas had great texture and taste, and the pasta was hearty and filling. And don't skip dessert. The slice is HUGE. You can choose between their Incredible Carrot Cake or Original Cheesecake, and it's the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, great for families, takeout, or even catering. It definitely feels like a place where you can just come as you are and enjoy a generous, scratch made meal. For the price, quality, and portions, this deal is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

I ordered to-go, so I'm curious if I would have a different experience dining in. However, I wasn't impressed with Stonefire. My partner and I both got the $13 meal deal. It comes with an entree, salad, a dessert for $13. I had a Caesar salad, with was pretty good. Their Caesar dressing had a little bit of spice to it. For dessert, I got the carrot cake (which was HUGE and I couldn't finish, but very tasty). For my entree, I got "Pulled Pork Personal Meal", with no red onions. I wouldn't say that the pork I was given was pulled, it was just in chunks. There were a few pickles thrown in with the pork and that was it. It was cold and sad-looking and disappointing. The taste was fine, but presentation matters -- even if it is to-go.

They have a great $13 meal deal going on right now! Lots of different personal entrees to pick from AND it comes with your choice of dessert: carrot cake or cheesecake! You can even add a drink for $1.99! Service and ambiance were fine. They have their stimulus package for $39 as well! I highly recommend!

Solid place and very nostalgic. The stimulus package is always a good deal and the food was yummy. I definitely recommend ordering the triton medium rare since they do tend to overcook it anyway every time I go. The pasta this time was a bit undercooked unfortunately. But overall, solid.

ordered for catering and their Caesar salad was the best i've tried. their sauce is thick and has a kick to it. meatball was also not bad. pasta was bland, and veggie plate was a miss.

Hosting a watch party and in search of catering at a reasonable price? Look no further than your local Stonefire Grill! They have an extensive menu as well as a separate catering menu that you can mix and match items between. I ordered two large pizzas, three family sized pastas, a breadstick party platter and a slider bundle the day before my watch party and the total came out to around $200. It was more than enough to feed my 10 guests. I even received a few compliments on the food. Now if only the Rams had won, it would've been ALL good!

We normally order the Stimulus package with lemon garlic chicken and pizza with pep and mush. Today I felt like being a little wild so I order my stimulus with BBQ chicken and pizza with pepp and tri-tip - didn't even know tri that was a free option. The meal overall was, fantastic!

I've been trying to get here for a while and finally had the chance, so I made a reservation directly through the restaurant's Yelp page and even received a confirmation. We showed up excited... only to find out they're closed on Mondays. You can imagine the disappointment on my family's faces--and yeah, I was pretty embarrassed, thinking I had messed something up. But I didn't. If a restaurant is closed on certain days, their reservation system shouldn't allow bookings or send confirmations for those days. We never even made it inside, so I can't comment on the food--but this was a frustrating first impression and something they really need to fix.

As usual, I ordered a little bit of everything and was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the brisket and the sides that came with it. It's also great that they have a little bar on the side where you can order your selections. Don't be fooled by what you see online when they say it's all sold out. There is stuff that's still there when you walk in and is available. First off service was great. They take the time at the cash to explain to you what everything is and you get a chance to see how much you've ordered and if it's not enough, you can add right away. Once that is done there is a person that seats You and gives you a table there's also a bar on the side where you can order your own drinks. I would definitely choose a beer to go along with the barbeque. Once everything arrives and dick in you notice just how good everything is brisket was the number one star for everyone at our table. The decor is nice. You're sitting in an outdoor area with a lot of shade and they also has this kind of rustic look. Next time I'm in San Clemente I would definitely go back and have another bite.

TLDR: It's another shot at breaking the glass ceiling of Texas BBQ within California. Although the…read moreline may suggest that this place hits (or even cracks) the clear barrier, I feel that it fails to hit that mark. Brisket: Smokey, salty, meaty, and occasionally fatty. It's everything you want in a brisket. Is it the best? No. Is it the softest? No. Does it taste unique? No. It's another brisket in the mountain of restaurants that claim that they've successfully brought Texas BBQ to California. You get it because brisket has found itself as a pillar within the wave of artisan Texas BBQ, but I'd had at least 3 that are better. Tri-tip: Maybe we got an older batch, but it was on the dryer end. I had a hard time differentiating the taste of this, compared to the other meats that we got, something that I didn't have a problem with when ordering tri-tip elsewhere. Pork Ribs: I've been lucky to have never had a bad rib from establishments that give a damn and that streak continues here. The decision of making a spare rib that isn't fall off the bone is respected, as the meat is soft once you bite it off the bone. Pulled Pork Sando: Knee jerk reaction.... It tasted like Pork Adobo. Upon further mulling and consideration...... It's good Pork Adobo. Mac n' Cheese: It's the best Mac n' Cheese in a Texas BBQ spot that I've had. I love how the noodle, sauce, and panko breadcrumbs complemented each other. I thought the watery cheese sauce was gonna give me an ick, but the taste was good and shook off the negative thoughts. Ambiance: It's good outdoor dining. The area is a quiet and "posh" neighborhood, so you don't really get the drawbacks of eating outside. The non-city nature of the region also provides this sense of calmness within the location. Service: The line will be long, but the employees have a good process. Order taker rings you up, "pitmaster" (who really just cuts the meat for you) proves you got what you ordered, and you're seated after you pay.

Not that I can say I'm all that surprised in hindsight, but it's still kind of a shame. Mostly because I just wish the food had been better, but also because, despite how impressive the OC food scene is, I hadn't come across any BBQ joints/Cantonese restaurants that SF has so many of until randomly stumbling across this place! Then again, maybe I've just been too distracted by the many Taiwanese options that the Bay Area is so criminally short on... Compared to some of the Chinese BBQ joints that I frequent in the Bay Area, this place felt so much newer and a whole lot cleaner/nicer. That said, while the menu appeared to be a whole lot narrower, they still had a decent selection of offerings to choose from. Along with their nearly twenty different sides/snack dishes, which include items like pig ears with chili sauce, cucumber salad, chicken wings, wontons in chili oil, and tofu skin salad, they also had BBQ meats, like Roasted Duck, Soy Sauce Chicken, and Char Siu, a mix of rice and noodle dishes, and combination plates of their BBQ meats over rice or noodles. Sadly, though, no crispy skin roast pork, which was a huge bummer. -- SWEET FRIED CORN Admittedly, this initially didn't catch my eye, but I'm glad we ended up trying it. Every piece was crispy and I liked how sweet and flavorful the corn was. Plus, it was how this wasn't all that oily, though, I wouldn't have minded a bit more batter for some added crunch. -- WONTONS IN CHILI OIL Not too shabby. Although the skins felt a little overcooked, each piece was fairly plump and I thought the filling was pretty tasty. It was also unexpected to see a bit of broth with the chili oil, but it had a nice flavor to it and just the right amount of spice. -- TWO BBQ ITEM RICE PLATE with Char Siu and Roasted Duck I was the most excited for this, but it left me feeling conflicted. On the plus side, the bowl had a fair amount of both meats and the duck was really good - really juicy and the skin was golden brown. On the other hand, the char siu was super fatty and the rice was mushy. -- DICED GROUND PORK ON RICE...$13.99 More solid than spectacular, but still satisfying enough. Like with the BBQ plate, the meat to rice ratio favored the former and I thought the egg and the veggies complemented this well. At the same time, I wish this had more sauce to it, as the pork look a little dry/pale. In addition to how convenient it was to come here (there was a steady crowd, but it never got packed inside), I appreciated how fast our food came out. Also, I'm not sure if we just got lucky, but it wasn't nearly as hard to find a space in the complex's parking lot as it seemed it would be. Between all of that, the food being decent, and the relatively friendly service, Frank's BBQ & Noodles wasn't bad for some Chinese BBQ. However, it definitely could've been better, especially if Roast Pork had been one of their offerings!

The dining area was noticeably cold, and the temperature didn't appear adjusted for the low occupancy. This became more obvious as the food arrived, since everything cooled down quickly. Even with metal warming trays, the dishes struggled to retain heat, and once barbecue items turn lukewarm, both texture and flavour decline noticeably. Across the meats, there was a surprising lack of differentiation in marination. The lamb skewers, beef tongue, and other grilled items all seemed to share the same base seasoning, with only the sauces changing to distinguish them. The lamb skewers themselves were very lean, cut into uniform blocks that looked tidy but lacked richness and the expected fatty depth that gives lamb its aroma and juiciness. The beef tongue was slightly more enjoyable, but still arrived lukewarm, which dulled its texture and impact. The signature chicken wings were slightly dry, with a sauce that didn't add much dimension. The grilled scallop dish was the most disappointing--mostly vermicelli with only a minimal amount of scallop, leaving it dry and lacking substance. That said, the highlight of the night was unexpectedly the fried chicken skin chicharrón. Crisp, airy, and indulgently fatty, it delivered exactly what the rest of the meal was missing--heat, texture, and unapologetic flavour. I didn't explore much beyond the barbecue items and a few appetizers, as the consistency already raised questions about the rest of the menu. The meal ended up being mostly cold beer paired with lukewarm meats and limited service attention. Even getting staff attention for drinks required effort. Overall, the experience felt flat and underpowered--especially because the core dishes never held temperature or distinction long enough to build impact, with the exception of a single standout in the fried chicken skin.
